Radish6404 Posted Wednesday at 04:02 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:02 PM Why does noone talk about hte best artist of goa trance history Miranda Silvergreen and all are talking about the crappy Astral Projection? Miranda Silvergreen has released Mars needs women" which is the best goa trance track of all time. she also has released many other very good tracks like Planet Mars,, Labyrinth and Concorde, which are much better than almost anything of Astral Projection. Also she released many good tracks with the alyas Athena and not to forget U are alone, which is one of the best tracks in goa trance history. I think Astral Projection is oerrated and never as good as Electric Universe and Boris Blenn with the tracks cosmic Symphony, Solar Energy, Neutron Dance and Kosmonaut. Electric Universe is not as good as Miranda, but uch better as Astral Projection (old and new tracks), by the way I find Aother world 2017 remix and LSD Remix just crappy. You all psytrance listeners are extremly much faulty that Miranda Silvergreen is not fammous, still. instead of buying crappy Astral Projection and newschool albums all psytrance members should have bought Miranda Silvergreen albums. Eectric Universe is also not very popular just because of you psytrance members. Tracks like Galaxia, Electric Pulsation or Virtual landscape, also as Visiting Venus or Nexus are much better than Astral Projection, not to forgetSunset Skyline, aStral Voyage, Online Information and Stardiver on the album Stardiver. All such great tracks did never get any mention here excpet from me. I think that I have the right taste in goa trance and that Miranda is much more complex with melodies and percussion and FX, especially with the track "Mars needs women". Even Passenger with his track Bells in Space and MFg with the track Desert sun are much better, but really really really reallly much better than Astral Projection. U are alone from Miranda does not have a very complex melody, but it has abeautiful stringline and beautful bubble sounds, much better as Hallucinogen, also. I am eager to hear your opinion of mMiranda and rI really want to know why Miranda was never appreciated a lot in this forum. She should have been appreciated a lot more than Astrl Projection. Quote
abasio Posted Wednesday at 05:27 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:27 PM Honestly, if you mention "Mars needs women" I will always think about Doof. I know that Miranda released a track with the same name 3 years later, but is really as iconic as the Doof track? I can't even picture the Miranda track in my mind. Quote
Radish6404 Posted Wednesday at 05:34 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 05:34 PM I understand nothing about this post. The miranda track mars needs women is this one here: It has nothing todo with the boring Doof track maras needs women: it is hte best goa trance track of all goa trance tracks because of the very emotiional and fresh melody and it´s complex FX sounds and you as a goa trance fan should know it very well. The doof track is no comparison and it is not similar at all to the Miranda "Mars needs women" track. Quote
acid-brain Posted Wednesday at 11:29 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:29 PM Yes Miranda is one of the top goa trance producers. Very powerful atmospheres and kick drums. Great collaborations too with other producers like Ominus. I don't feel like she is overlooked. I'm a sucker for the real old-school sound and the track Athena is my favourite: Quote
Radish6404 Posted yesterday at 05:17 AM Author Posted yesterday at 05:17 AM acid-brain, great atmosphere. Quote

Old school Miranda and Athena was great. You might find her track Mars Needs Women to be great, but it's not talked about at this forum because it's not a goa or psytrance track, it's a commercial trance track. Online Information by Electric Universe is a great and very well known track, many like it, and it's featured on many compilations. Miranda and Athena is very much appreciated at this forum: https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/35418-miranda-phenomena/, but this forum is pretty much dead, and she hasn't released a great album since Phenomena back in 1996. Radish6404 Posted yesterday at 09:11 AM Author Posted yesterday at 09:11 AM I think the album Northern Lights is great and awesome just because of 4 tracks, two of which are the best goatrancetracks of all time. Also what is in my opinion is, that Miranda has not managed to get on a lot of compilations. I only know of Concorde that has made it to a goa Head compilation. I also think the forum is ead. I think someone should care getting new people on this forum. The old goa trance like Miranda, Man with no name, Electric Universe, MFG and even Astral Projection is still worth discussing. Quote
Radish6404 Posted yesterday at 09:24 AM Author Posted yesterday at 09:24 AM wrong thread, sorry. Quote

Miranda tracks are featured on at least 75 compilations according to Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/artist/19682-Miranda?noanv=1&superFilter=Appearances&subFilter=Compilations For reference, Transwave are featured on 77 compilations, and your beloved Astral Projection: 177. They're obviously so different that calling one a rmx of another is bit of a stretch. Just to make things clear! 1 Quote
Radish6404 Posted yesterday at 02:12 PM Author Posted yesterday at 02:12 PM I have the second track aswell, but I don´tlike it at all. I hope the first track is produced by Miranda Silvergreen and not by https://jumpshare.com/s/ZlP7Rn19OncJuZS3vqru Quote
Oopie Posted yesterday at 02:16 PM Posted yesterday at 02:16 PM 😄 Your favourite track is completely a work of Antiloop - famous for the club anthem 'In My Mind'. Perhaps should be stated, also, that it's not Goa trance. Quote
Radish6404 Posted yesterday at 02:18 PM Author Posted yesterday at 02:18 PM I don´t believe you. It is released as an original track on Miranda´s Northern Lights and sounds 100 percent typical for Miranda. Quote
Oopie Posted yesterday at 02:27 PM Posted yesterday at 02:27 PM Haha alright buddy! As long as you like the track I see no problem Quote
Radish6404 Posted yesterday at 02:28 PM Author Posted yesterday at 02:28 PM Please Oppie tell me that t he rack is from Miranda. I love Miranda and I woudl be very sad if the track is not from Miranda. Quote
Oopie Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Let's see the info: Mars Needs Women (Antiloop Album Version) Remix [Additional], Producer [Additional Production] – Antiloop Written-By – Nello Written-By, Producer – Miranda There you go! It's not 100% Miranda but she had a part. Quote
Radish6404 Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Thanks man. I fell much easier now that it is partly written by Miranda. Quote
