Guest phaeton Posted January 25, 2002 Share Posted January 25, 2002 hey parhelion .. i just finished listening to your mix and i'm quite .. stunned especially the first half of it entranced my mind nicely ... excellent track selection, very hypnotic, groovy, and the mixing is almost flawless .. the only track i didn't enjoy was the freeman one ... the last half of the mix is a bit heavier which i like as well, even though it's maybe a bit too slow for my taste in hard stuff it's good nonetheless .. oh, and my mix has been done with a pair of gemini cdj1200's, pt-1000 turntables and a ps-525 mixer .. typical cheap bedroom dj gear, but it works .. (no offense mp3s are not suited at all to be chained and you can hear very clearly when the file changes, which defeats the whole purpose of a mix. Both mixes are pretty good ! ;-) Good tracklisting (i discovered new tracks....) & the mixes are clean & fluent, very nice to listen them..... To Parhelion : i've got an average transfer rate of 45K /sec with a very regular transfert ....seems 2 be ok ! (i'm using a T1 connection, but it's at my office ! ;-) Phaeton : the transfert rate for downloading Ur mix is 180 k/s at the begining and go down to .....145 k/s at the end !!!! What a Host ! Thanks U guys !
