Finally you say something intelligent!
Anyway, I'm not going to stop listening to goa, as I didn't completely stop listening to epic trance, but it's exploration time again. I've found a lot of nice stuff from completely other genres.
Now if the reviews themselves weren't so short.
Edit: Can these short blurbs even be called reviews?
Edit2: The short blurb note wasn't directed at the first poster.
I'm personally kind of growing out of goa. It's like it's just not as good as it used to be. I think the time for me to take another musical step is soon here... this time from goa to something else, like I earlier moved from epic trance to goa.
I, of course, supposed you used the word "holy grail" as in "great/popular" and not "sought after". I know it's sought after. But ask people on any website for their favorite goa cd, and very few will mention this.
So it depends on the definition.
In case somebody happens to sell it cheaply, or trade it for something I have, I will sell it myself, and get rich. That's why.
But a holy grail? Naaah. I wouldn't say that. Not for me at any rate.
You didn't get the idea. I like it when music conjures landscapes and places in my mind. "Funny" music fails to do that, it's just stuff that you dance to. And not on the "higher level" evocative music has.
