Yahel has his own version of Spiritual Healing. I don’t know whether he paid Juan Verdera for it or not, but it sounds very close. When you listen to Intelligent Life, the melody of Spiritual Healing immediately comes to mind.
I would be surprised he paid Juan Verdana because there is no melody that sounds similar to Spiritual Healing, only the chords for the bassline are identical, but using the same chords isn't considered plagiarism (I think I read that somewhere a long ago, in terms of copyrights...).
Just a random topic about it

Very strange that I used to love this album, and I realized after maybe 7 or 8 years not listening to it, that it didn't age well to my ears. It grew old.
Maybe it's finally time to feel that a release from 2012 feels old in 2025...
The track I used to love is Ascend, it's still great but I lost those emotions it made me feel back in the day. Anyway, still top quality music, and track No Rain No Water is still beautiful. -
There is one track I rate highly, it's 7. Delina Did It, and a track I do enjoy as well, 8. Sonnambula (with William Orbit).
All the tracks before are boring, pompous, sometimes irritating. -
@Oopie I am curious to know how you found this track, it sounds very old and obscure, I have never heard of Telesto, I see on Discogs this is from 1994, it does sound great from that time. Hypnotic and deep. My rating would be 7/10.
I am now posting a track from Ololiuqui, released in 2016: https://ololiuqui.bandcamp.com/track/frame-your-thoughts
This project from Germany was quite well known in the 90s especially with the track Chitty Bang. The track I am posting here sounds very clean to me, I am curious to hear your thoughts about it...

Probably from Israel, but that doesn't help much 😁

Amen doesn't have spectacular tracks like albums before it, but it aged better. What I like about Amen is the production and crystal clear sound (mastering).
I can actually hear a bit of Amen in this last album, but as it was said, the loud mastering destroys it...

Genetic's classic early goa track, basic but does the job. 7/10.
Not an electronic piece of music but here we go:

I share the sentiment - it’s nice, atmospheric and nostalgic, but there are no real surprises. Nevertheless, I’m glad to see them back with new music after all these years.
What I really dislike is the mastering - everything is so loud, and every sound layer is maxed out in terms of volume. Dynamically, it’s almost flat - just a hard wall of sound - and for me, that ruins the otherwise top-level production. There’s no fidelity.
They did the same thing with Goa Classics Remixed. I guess it sounds “better” on (cheap) Bluetooth earbuds and headphones, which most people use.
I tried it on both Tidal and Deezer - it sounds the same. Hopefully, the vinyl master will be different.
Coincidentally I listened to Goa Classics Remixed again a few weeks ago and I thought the same about the mastering, it is loud and while the music is excellent, the loud sound destroys the album. Same can be said about this new album, loud mastering, it ruins it all unfortunately.

Previous page has Miranda - Phenomena posted 6 times if I counted right
Listening to Logic Bomb's album after reading abasio's review. I had forgotten that Neighbour of the beast has the melody of X-Dream - Panic in Paradise...

"song", lol.

I agree that it sounds like a sample, "the way it loops" as you said.
@astralprojection so Juan doesn't answer because he is too important to reply to the average miserable people? Lol.
The guy is the definition of one hit wonder, never felt he had any talent...

My favorite is Metaphsical.
-
Tracks 1, 2, and 10 are mediocre, not interesting, the rest is from good to very good.
Favorites: tracks 5, 6, 7, and 8. -
I did try several times to listen to this album in one go, but never managed... always ended up being bored.

Superb bassline!

Glad you like the tracks I posted...
I had a better listen at the tracks you mentioned in the opening post, found out some of them aren't really that slow, so I would suggest a 138 BPM classic. it's well known, chances are you already know, but if you don't I am sure it will be your cup of tea!

Hello everyone, first post here. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
I've been looking for 130ish 90s or early 2K goa/psytrance/trance/prog trance stuffs. Possibly records. Possibly no upbeat or riding basslines (typical of late 2K psytrance) or too minimal influences (typical of scandinavian prog trance)
Absolutely love these:
Love how deep this one is
Love the melody here and the acid bassline
The long now
If perfection was a thing, it would be the B2 side of this beauty
I'd love some help, thank youHi bro.
Will post mostly goa trance and try to remember if they are kind of below 140 bpm or at least slow enough for you...
Prana - Taiyo

Prana - Geomantik (featuring Merv from Eat Static)
Prana - Boundless (Nervasystem remix)

Tim Schuldt - Absurd
Athena - Woodwalking
Transwave - Phototropic
Transwave - Ulysse Voyage (1, 2 and 3)Hopefully you like at least some of these!

Good album, though I thought a few melodies here and there sounded a little unharmonious (track 3 to name it) but that's just my picky self, I really enjoyed the album for the positive atmosphere and the melodic density. Some constructive criticism I can make is in regards to the vocals samples in track 2, pretty sure not only myself would notice they do not fit right in the track, either too loud or lack of effects, an added echo or other effects would have helped to fit it better...
Do not miss this album for home listening, a very nice discovery!!
PS: I read the comparison with Chi-Ad at some moments, hmm listen to the intro of track 2, sounds like Biocandy!

I've always wanted to know.. Where does one source such majestic vocals 🤐
Same as with Shpongle, he uses a lot of samples and does it right, I guess in some middle east or Indian folk.

With so many replies, I read them all and none mentioned S.T.O.P., it's a really clean and hypnotic track from X-Dream:

What music are you listening to right now?
in General Psytrance

Yeah but random people named it like that, it's not considered a remix officially.
