  1. Though I am fairly new to psy and having listened to dubstep as a major genre, I would not consider them completely crap. Well especially the likes of ananda shake and vibe tribe have some good full on tracks to dance to and worth listening. I mean just listen to the noisy dubstep tracks and then compare them with some latest full on's. Though I still Like dubstep but recent full on psy has blown me away. Its got a good blend of electro and decent melodies.

Though I still agree that the latest full on's are not as good as it's predecessor, but common it's better than dubstep and some commercial trance. (Coming from a hard core dubstep fan) :)

  2. Don't know the very first track but this is one of the tracks that made me fall in love with goa trance, and still sounds amazing!

Holy hell.... This track is just too amazing.... Thanks for this gem

    Filteria - Operation Pulse

Literally 10 minutes of goose bumps. I don't get those often these days.

At 6.10 this track just goes to another level... Wow

For me it was the track "Hallucinogen - LSD" and the album "Hallucinogen - Twisted".

I litterally fell on my knees and listened to it in a loop for months! It still blows my mind now.

    I can't agree less... Is indeed a great track... A classic :)

  3. This question has been asked before but it would be interesting to know from new members. For me it was the track "Hallucinogen - LSD" and the album "Hallucinogen - Twisted".I litterally fell on my knees and listened to it in a loop for months! It still blows my mind now.My testimony: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php/topic/30650-10-years-ago/ Damn that was 18 years ago, I didn't even have a degree, and now I have a kid that keeps saying "stop that music!" ahahah

If I'm not wrong this has to be one of the first goa trance albums?

  4. Track: Pleiadians-Family Of Light back when it was unreleased. It was something out of this world, I've never heard such sounds and melodies before.Album: Astral Projection-Another WolrdFirst Goa album I bought and it was unbelievable. Melodies and sounds from outer space.

Is another world better than trust in trance? I haven't listened to it yet

  5. Hi friends, i'm just curious to know when you guys started listening to psy for the first time, which was the track and album that blew off your mind completely... of course there were others to follow later, but i'm just interested to know the first track and album... Below is my list...

    Track:

E=MC2 by 1200 micrograms (I know this one is a bit cheesy for most, but my jaw dropped when I heard it)

    Album:

Trust in Trance -1996 - Astral Projection (cant explain in words...pfff...)

    :)

  6. hi there friends, i am Amar from mumbai, India and am fairly new to psy...i was introduced to psy by one of my friends 8-9 months back.coming from commercial trance and dubstep i did not find psy influential at all. he gave me a collection of dark psy albums with some full on...and i was like wtf is this... i couldnt bear it and just didnt bother to listen to other albums... however, 2 months ago i glanced through the psy collection and thought maybe i should listen to it again... so at night i plugged in my headphones to my mp3 player and listened to 1200 micrograms... and boy o boy... wasnt that the most wonderful night...since then i cannot live a day without listening to psy... ofcourse i must admit that i do also love many cheesy tracks (since i love dubstep and comm trance)as well :)

i am really delighted to have discovered this forum and you wonderful audiophiles, who really make so much sense when you speak bout music... i have discovered so many artists and tracks that i may have never listened to had i not been here... so thank you friends for patiently reading my post...i will keep hanging around and hope to learn more and more from you guys and girls... thank you :)

  7. first off im so glad to have found this forum and people like yourselves who make so much sense out of music... i would be listening to crap had it not been you guys... so thanks a ton... now back to the topic, i havent listened to any other albums by Tristan, but Chemisphere is pure magic!!! i am new to psy and cannot be descriptive as everyone around, but in simple words this album if pure psy fullon compared to other artists... im psy terms "its not cheesy at all" :)

  8. Hello friends i am new to psy trance. I love full on trance and also like other forms of psy like goa, dark, etc. I have gone through many threads for recomendations and good albums and have been around anonymously. I like the new fullon with some electro influences in it and also love the oldies as recommended by members here. However I noticed that some experts here term most of recent fullon psy as CHEESY!! I know for sure that this ain't a compliment. Please experts shed some light on this term... Thanks and peace... :)
