I can say having spoken to Psykovsky's wife in the last he had a very negative reaction to lsd early in his life and has never done drugs since.
Just because the music is so crazy & the behavior does not mean drugs are involved, just as I don't believe it's needed to enjoy this music. I find my pleasant time with psychedelic trance has been drugless, whereas the times on drugs have often for me had a negative impact.
I don't believe many producers used drugs for production purposes but I'd say many used them recreationally and this has a definite impact on the music. Some Goa/Psy has no real tripped out edge to it whereas others you can hear the psychedelic edge. Alien Pets by Prana for me is definitely one track that has a defined psychedelic edge that you rarely hear elsewhere.

Cool!
Really enjoying it. My anxiety is out of control right now & this seems to be very nice n calming.

Mystic Chords & Sacred Places 1 & 2, 3 & 4
Texture Maps: The Lost Pieces 3

Surely Suntrip would be able to buy them and maybe you could at least break even no?
I know many independent labels that are releasing much more abstract music with minimal marketing & break even on sales of CD.
Anyway, before you chuck them can we buy copies direct from you Jikkenti?
-
Thanks Zen, I prefer only physical release of which you lister 2 that I will purchase in the near future.

Really impressive works from Gio & his Dakini label. I only lack his very first album and it sells for way too much now a days second hand.
Padamasana II has just been release and while quite different to the first release it is stilla very pleasant audio experience. Just beware the third track is split in to two different tracks on the CD. The first past is a dub tribal house tune with vocals that guide meditation whereas the second part is a lovely piece of pure ambient htat should have been at least doubled in time lenght and is dissapointg that it's so short, it does not give enough time to reall dive and resonate with.'
Rumour has it the long lost Padmasana single that is nigh impossible to find will be released on Dakini Bandcamp in the next few months. Request have been made that the man behind the Drumspyder, Makyo & Padmasana II mastering get a shot at remsatering the single.
Peace and love

I finally got my hands on this recently. It is a wonderfule compilation but I do find the first disc is very light and euphoric, at that time it fitted much more I think in to the more commercial rave and club sound than the harder Goa scene. I can see why many were dissapointed at the time.
The second CD is really nice. Even if you have most of these tracks it's often fun to hear them lined up or tracklisted in an alternative fashion.
Goa will never die!

Yes this is a wonderful label. I prefer the unmixed versions but will not buy them from Beatport due to personal reasons. This is where I wish progressive in the "psy" trance scene had headed instead of where it is to day. I'm quite dissapointed by the "Neelix sound" that has taken control.
-
Wonderful news. Big thank you to all involved and to the musicians for the music.

Transmissions was, is and always will be the definition of Goa Trance for me. It transports back the beaches of Goa & Thailand. The smells, sounds and substances. It's such amazing album. Now they play for the goth:new EBM scene. They are still huge in Japan so don't need to make it elsewhere.
I saw them live many times but prefer their studio work.
The only album for me that comes close is Astral Projection - "Dancing Galaxy". Mostly as I lost all my music whilst backpacking Asia and this was the only tape I had left for 3 months
-
Any news on this? Pretty lame if it's a failed idea. Maybe DAT Records could intervene & help release or something?
God I loved & still love this label!!
-
Chillout style? Sorry I listen to muc Goa Trance but not much chill out in this genre. After reading reviews of his latest chill out album I bought all 3 and throughly enjoy them for both relaxing and general music. Can somebody please point me in the direction of similar sounds? Kind regards and many thanks for your time.

Yes "Blade Runner 2 - The Bladening" is what it will be called. Han Solo will be back in it as some kind of President under fire who despite old age fights back against the baddies to win.

You can donate here. It seems ppl care for his music, I wish I lived in Europe as the price for classes etc. is so worth it.
Anyway, will be happy with permanent membership & E7 CD

Hopefully the hoodie is still available next psy check Sadly when. I ordered the compilation from Goastore it arrived with disc II snapped, they wouldn't refund or replace it but I do enjoy the first disc
Good luck with everything

To give you an idea I'd happily pay 20 euro + postage for a complete pack like what I suggested.
Some labels like Noise Poison & Kamino are charging this for hi-tech psy, so for classy Goa & psy I'd easily pay
-
I would pay a lot for a t-shirt & signature. I'd also for once like to see something like a list of gear & software used in the production process and/or info on the inspiration for track names etc.
You are doing an amazing job. Big respects.
How awesome Dancing With Kadafi is?

I loved it when it came out, and it definitely lit up a dancefloor on New Years morning one year over a decade ago when a dj dropped it at sunrise on the beach. Out of all IM's less trancey work this is for me the best they did, and for me this entire album B.P. Empire was the peak of their underground career. It's the only album of their's I have any more, although Blue Muppet is my fav track as it was the first one I heard from them.
