Disted 808 and 909 can sound really cool in music, but not like that, that I can agree on. Ive made some really nice Breaks stuff with disted bass drums in the past. I am listening to some old "Hardcore" that I used to like on Bonzai, and I must say, I like that stuff, what I do not get is that new stuff that is around that is just a kickdrum, some stupid fuck saying "Kill the police" accompanied by an awful bassline and some percussion that just sound crap. Damn, the following statement will haunt me forever on this forum but; I prefer Brittney Spears to that musik. (And of course, its all about taste, and blah blah blag)

I never understood Gabber or Hardcore, it never really attracted me. I mean, I know a lot of people actually love it, and its uber big in The Netherlands, but what is so attractive to it? The chicks at the parties? The Chavs? Maybe I should start making some Psy Gabber... Oh wait, we already have Dark Psy, its close enough (yes yes, its a joke, i dont like Dark Psy, but I can still see some good in Dark Psy, but not in Gabber...) What the hell is that all about? Its a really strange scene as well, full with Nazis (not all of course, I know that), full with punkz (contradicts my nazi statement, but thats how it is) and they really seem to like Biomechanical Stuff. Horror is also very common around this scene. I once saw a bunch of people going to a gabber party in Amsterdam, and they all wore like Brown Military clothing (like Hitler had)... Can you dance to that music more than 1 hour without taking some kind of upper?

However, without minimal we would not have other acts either, so whatever it spawned, it was good for many parties. Which in my opinion is the good way, as I still can chose to not go, if there is dark psy being played.
