I was waiting for the new dark soho album for a while and I can say I was a lot dispointed !! I knew that they'll change style for the new album, but this is just poor and non-innovative music. It sounds like the hundred of ohters albums that I'll not buy. I understand that maybe they were bored of their old style and they wanna try something new, but some artists are just good in one style I guest That was something I noticed with the 2 previous album, some of the track are in my top ten of the most powerfull track I've ever heard and others "like Noise 6", are just sooooo boooring....always the same 3 sounds for a 10 min tracks...And Light in the dark is an album with all those boring track exept one ?! Long way home. Anyway, their 2 first cd were amasing, light in the dark is....: just boring!!! Nervgaz

Maybe I'm just more open minded than the regular IM fans! But you know, I was not the only one that love the new show...Everyone there, the crowd, were going berserk at every new track...this was a great succes I think... Singing live was cool, wait until you see them before juging... Anyway, I don't know, but after reading the critics on the new album on this site, I wonder if the people here really love Infected, or if the were just loving their "own" little vision of what infected should be...like if the music were made especialy for their small person, with their vision of what this "sould be" !?! Hi there, I just got out of a Infected show in Montreal this weekend. So here's a little "live" review for you. At first I want to say that my first earing of the New Infected Mushroom album was a little bit deceiving. Now, after earing this album "Live", I can say that it is very Dancefloor oriented, less good at home, but Fucking great in Rave...! Me an my friend were TOTALLY BLASTED after the show. It was fucking cool...It was the fourth time I see infected live and to tell you the truth, the third time was pretty similar to the first one...BUT, this show was totally new, It is like they've changed their concept of making a infected show live... They played like 80 % of the new album, no tracks from BPM (yes!), a track from Classical, AND!! You won't belive it, They played 3 tracks from THE OTHER SIDE, they we're remixed like strange Hard Goa-Core tracks...WOW!! fukcing great!! The last track was so brutal...you know..." I'm playing the game...waiting for the rain to wash who I am..."....So brutal... And for the first time, Duvdev was signing all along in the mike... Seriously, If they're coming to your town...GO SEE THAT!!! THE NEW SHOW IS UNBELIVEABLE!!!!! Rating 12/10 !!! Nervgaz

Hey!! Melodic Trance lover's. Have you tried this one: LANI our way to the sun. I listen it as a guest on Saikosounds and I discover this FUCKING good album !! Give it a try, if you love melodie and keyboard sounds, this is for you... One of the best album of the years, along with Synsun symphonic adventure.... This is a great discovery.... Nervgaz

I'm agree with the review before me, this is a good minimal cd with strange sampling sounds, etc... But as he said, not all the tracks are excellent !! I love splud very much, but some of the other track are more "cliché". Not from any other artist, but these track are average from an artist like Shiva Chandra. Maybe it should sounds better whit a less 4/4 beats aproach and little less fast bpm... Anyway, this is a excellent album after all, but not the best of Shiva Chandra, I prefer GECKO... And yes, about the video Cd : This is cool, but you need a DVD player capable of reading VDC, or a Pc with a VCD player (you can download it from the net, but it's not free ...Anyway, good psychedelic video, and a bonus movie of shiva playing at an outdoor party... So final Verdict : 8/10 (not the best of Shiva, but excellent cd compare to many other artist)

After a lot of time listening this album in the past 4 days, I can say that this is a GREAT album after all !!! Of course, the style have change much, but It still good. CD1 is cool, but I think sometime that there is missing some element in the tracks, like the super mutant bassline or the very strange "what's that" sounds...I think that not all the track have something "special" about them, that you can say :" Oh yeah! this is the track with this special sounds, or melody, etc..." Anyway, still a good, more live aproach and maybe back to school ... CD2 is wonderfull, The tracks are great and have some very disturbing sounds and melody that make each track very unique. Converting vegetarian ! YEAH ! Very good !! And Drop out almost make me cry ??! But there 2 or 3 track (the one with girl vocal) that I don't really like, but still okay...Anyway, this is one of the best mix of all the musical style adapt to psy trance I ever heard... In general, i have to say that this is THE infecteds, and we can fell it even if this is defferent, I think they will lost a few fans with this album because it sounds very strange an unusual, but this will only be the people that love infected just because every one love them....So final verdict : CD1 8/10 CD2 9.5/10

This album is really hard to find!!! But for the fans of Ubar Tmar, it's not a problem. This is so strange, what can I say ?? For those who know ubar tmar, this is a mix of the "live" album, with all new element an a structure that sounds very disturbing. This music is completly out of any current style that is existing in those days. It's a rythmism anti-music aproach and quite minmal experience. Can say nothing more than those first review. If you like something VERY special, and love rythmic noise and psychedelic hypnotic sounds, you'll love it. But be aware, this album is not for the faith of heart... Final verdict : 9/10 (WOW)

This is a Excellent album. It sounds like Shiva chandra, but with a more "live" influence. This is probably the side added by Dj Mapusa Mapusa. Sounds good, but a little too much resemblance with the album made by Shiva himself : Auricular. Rate.8/10 Nervgaz

This is a EXCELLENT album for all lovers of both Hallucinogen and DUB music. A perfect remix of all the best tracks by Simon Posford by OTT. If you like Dub/ambiant & Hallucinogen, this is a must have!!! Rate.9/10 Nervgaz
