basically my friend can explain most early goa (esp. hallucinogen - a floyd freak for sure) in terms of pink floyd music.

i've introduced something like 5 people.
2 of them still listen to the music, although they're not thaaaat fond of it. maybe, if the introduction took place in 1996 we'd all be in goa now
also, a lot of people have been affected by the chill out music! styles like dub, electronica, prog. house are really popular, at least in my social circle. so the ears are ready for lets say asura.. same people will think this is a masterpiece while hating that absurd boom boom boom music..
my grandma said, while listening to finnish psy: "it feels like you're in a forest. it's nice"
-
are you drunk?
-
boom radio... it isn't playing music but a discussion on ayahuaska right now.
-
what would you consider "ololiqui - reverse engineering" ?
i think it might fall under the prog style, in part or whole. so why not give it a listen?
-
well.. when i listen to shpongle i recognise the simon p style throughout.
its the same with other people.
i dont know if raja was posing for simon and gave him inspiration or whatnot... but its difficult to see what his contribution (musicwise) was, except from playing the flute.
BUT, i remember a link someone posted (nick inzo?) which detailed raja's involvement in a psy-rock band waaay back.. it seems like he actually has been involved in making good music for a long time, all this contradicting "popular thought".
so.... i dunno!

i want to have dinner with nelly too

just for the record, i find it weird that in the few times i listened to this album i always skipped the first track - omg. mainly because i find that voice irritating.
