2. Reminds me of Solaluna2002....

    499475

that's what i though of... (obviously)

but what on earth happened? i hope this is a very lame but well-done joke....

..and everyone is okay, including people who were on the stage when it collapsed !?

  3. i had proposed the same thing some time ago.

but there is one more thing to worry about: there is a way to vote as many times as you want.

so its not that good of an idea after all... it wont be an accurate poll, since its so easy to manipulate ; )

  4. anybody heard of cassiopeia?

have found 4 tracks (which i hope i still have somewhere)

one was called the deepest house and its all goa-ish sound and brilliant!

and its not the cassiopeia on discogs ; )

there's also one greek project, interstellar overdrive.. they ve released one track as prisma in the 2nd samothraki comp. but its not like the few unrlsd killarghs that were (and might still be) roaming around the interweb.

that was totaly amazing goa.. too bad they dont like releasing their music..

  5. i had the honour of meeting andrew till (gus' bro and "main man" of psyharmonics) in the naoussa "magical forest" festival in greece some years ago..

i've also heard lots of their stuff...

now i'm sure they re not trying to bring anything political through their label. they just promote "weird psychedelic music" if you will. also, i dont think they actually care to "establish themselves" in the trance market anymore. maybe the difference of psyharmonics and other labels is in what they enjoy(taste) and their background.

for example ollie olsen who is also part of the label, i think, in more ways than just publishing his music, used to play punk rock back in the day, before becoming the avant-garde electronic music composer he is now. (psyharmonics people are older than what you'd expect)

the label started with goa-stuff but has evolved a lot. maybe you know their rip van hippy releases.

a good indication of what they're into are the "shaolin wooden men". if im not mistaken they still dont say who makes up this band, but its implied its the psyharmonics crew..

now the shaolin sound is very distinctive and can only be described by what agia_igoumeni wrote ; )

a visit to their website is well worth it. you'll see they got an ambient branch now and are selling imports from japan. stuff like AOA, psychedelic rock with synths, music i can't describe ; ) also industrial flavored stuff (snog)...

    from their WEBSITE:

    Welcome to Psy-Harmonics

Australia's pioneering independent electronic label, distributors and online shop

Home to Shaolin Wooden Men, Hesius Dome, Rip Van Hippy, Ollie Olsen, Black Lung and many more great artists from Australia and beyond who continue to develop and explore the vast territories of our sonic landscape.

  6. nice quote charlie! :)

i hope one day, like within the next month, the management will recognise that this ban will not make the forum better, it will make it worse.

i really hope there will be some see-the-bigger-picture thinking from some of our members too..

must say i find it peculiar that members rarely seen in the off-topic are posting pro-banning material now. you should do us (the daily off topic addicts) the honour of visiting more often and perhaps get to know us better, so you can form more informed opinions on the "community".

if you knew cinos better, imho, you'd see that hes not a troll. the guy is still in school in sweden or wherever and can speak (type)better english than most and express himself well. he also seems to be interested in learning and other things that do not characterise trolls. some times he gave me the impression of an educated individual is what im trying to say.

of course, mars can kickban all of us if he wishes, but the ban is supposedly based on a joint mod decision, no?

how can you agree with this way of thinking? cinos did not cause trouble to others. so you did not suffer! if you got confused reading cinos' stuff, then you should not have read it again and again after you were already sick of him in the first place. it was your own decision to read it too.

labelling the guy a racist, etc is just funny. its what happens when you speak your mind and the plur "philosophy" is on cinos' side on this one, imho. even for the negativity spreading etc...

anyways. end of this pointless post... ;)

  7. in the same discussions there was name calling, drug use promotion, drug glorification.

yet someone is playing a joke with those who spend their free time here.

    absolutely no respect.

yea ban cinos who was part of what set psynews to motion and made it interesting again.. and dont even warn the cool-kids-gone-wild.

really if there was no other issues leading to the ban, im disgusted

  8. i know about them,but i dont own them(yet)

i just saw that psyshop offers the Mystical experiences with mystery of the yeti 1 for 15bucks...grrrr....i have to pay more attention when i order!!!

    488596

    im afraid you must ;)

i got this very release from psyshop..

  9. hmm, there is a lot of loving going on here.... :)

can you suggest anything similar in quality  to mystical experiences?(devious, this goes mostly to you) :)

    488258

i get it you already know of the mystery of the yeti 1&2 ?

i'm still in love with that.. i ve gone to sleep the last three nights with hallucinogen - the herb garden playing

  10. agree with everybody..

i'd love to hear something else (or the same track) with a bit more happening on the trancey FX side but thats just what "I" would prefer.

this track made an impression.. i love ambient and so does my flatmate. i played it to him and said hey this is a nice track. he replied "yep it is indeed. whose is it?"

so two more thumbs up from here
