    i also dont like having my pic taken without permission.

    but considering my face gets recorded on tape around 1,000 times/day in london i dont really give a shit ; )

     

    i never carried a camera with me in parties/festivals.. but now i feel stupid for not having some pics from my best moments in this scene!!

     

    e.g. i got 0 pics from glade this summer.. i got something like 2-3 pics from samothraki, where i ve been in the first 3 festivals. lame!

    but a lot of the members come here first for the off-topic.. I know i registered here for the info but the off-topic is why im here every day.

    there is no life without the off-topic.

     

    i never got it. off topic just brings more people here. there were never problems in the general section by off topic dwellers. only contributions in deferring degrees.

    enough with bashing the off-topic please..(not directed to anyone in particular)

    this community is about to be shattered now.. and this is the last thing needed.

     

    and to those who critisize the guys in the off topic:

    what do u do with your friends IRL? what do u discuss about? kickdrums and basslines? all the time? dont u ever kick back and "talk shit".. even bond with each other, share personal thoughts on whatever happened that day? why should this be banned in the off-topic?

    i ve been here since the start and i ve seen a LOT of shit go around. many discussions on drugs prOn and everything have been on the agenda from the beginning. people only started bitching recently. aparently there s not much going on music-wise anymore, thats how i see it ; )

    this is a pity......saw it in my inbox.....

    They throw by far my favorite parties in london and just yesterday i was talking with a friend about them.. we were looking forward to attending one soon!

    i ll most definately donate something like a tenner, they deserve it! and whoever actually went there and bought a fake ticket MUST donate. they wont be paying anything extra anyways!

    I hope they manage to get the scums and bring them to court - it will be very difficult but maybe they ll get *some* luck.

    so what r your favs ? im talking about any station worth listening - doesnt have to be stricly psytrance

    i ve got 2 favs:

    cosmosmile.com which has a huge list of live sets that they stream (but although i ve got a fast connection i m always having problems with them..)

    tribulation radio (www.trib-design.com/tribulation) with nice ambient and psybient music

    i remember discussing this before.. i always thought it was odd.

    in greece, there is a very small black minority, so i never really thought about why there werent any blacks in the scene.. you wouldnt expect to see many anywhere else as well..

    but when i came to london, which is the modern day babel with all races living in the same city, i did notice this. and odd it was..

    its propably a cultural thing. jimi hendrix was one, but i cant think of a second black hippie.. :huh:

    It's not exactly the same, FSOL have one different tone and it makes all the difference, My Kingdom is a masterpiece while the Vangelis 'original' is just good.

    the original by vangelis is one of my favorite tunes of all time. one of the few tracks that have the "extra magical feel".. :P

    dead cities was one of my first electronic music albums.. one of those cds you have a special bond to, you know ; ) I love it!! its surely something "showing the path" of musical/artistic evolution!
