just for the record: you dont ruin simon s or raja s career future by not buying shpongle 3, this would however be pretty much the case with not buying "small" artist's albums..

not only one track, but there is ONE that is c r a z y! i cant remember either name or from which album it is ...
the one that at the build up's peak, has this scream " aaaaaa!AAAA!" and then the classic guitar reef comes in..
i heard its also him playing the guitar and not a sample!

the first one i listened extensively at some point and i love it!
I think we ve been over this before, if something reminds you of shpongle its not necessarily a "bite".. shpongle indeed popularised ambientish sounds to the psy scene but they also drew inspiration from somewhere else..
i still give eternal credit to posford though.. he s been involved in the infinity project, celtic cross, dub trees, masterpieces in mystery of the yeti and then shpongle...

its not that i ve never been to a party by 12... its just that i never manage to have enough motivation for me and my friends to get up from wherever we are and actually GO to the party...
in england its very different though.. i have no car-->public transport.. in london its easy and reliable to get night buses but you would usually try to be there before midnight.. the place will be full by then anyway.. (whereas in greece, because we re late sleepers ; ) the place will probably be empty even at 1am)
btw, i ve always made the case for EARLY PARTIES.. why waste a whole weekend (and seriously fuck up any sleep pattern u might have) just because they organise parties at night?? i thought we re not vampires.. but who listens? no one! throw an afternoon starting time party and people will think its chill out or cafe or something

Are you shpongled is my all time fav album in any genere but everything about 3 smells of extreme cheese.
Big NYC release party with a big cheesey flyer, the "last" album even though im sure there will be a shpongle remix album or 2.

i once saw a shpongle track that was in fact an awfull attempt from some beginner to make full-on...
you could tell it wasnt shpongle by the first second but it was circulated under shpongle disguise....

kenji williams (medicine drum right?) uses an electric violin if im not mistaken - but its not goa
