lol you talk about dark albums but don't mention a SINGLE dark trance artist... Also some of the albums you mentioned in there are anything but dark (MOS - Drive, Chi AD - Anno Domini, Toi Doi - Technologic,...). Might as well put Skazi up there while you're at it...
anyway, I voted for Xenomorph
A track doesn't have to make you shit in your pants to be dark. MOS' Drive is a good example of lighter dark trance.
My top three:
1) MOS - Drive & The Delta - Scizoeffective
2) MFG - Project Genesis

Send In... Send Back is more techno, IMO too techno (in the sense of repetitiveness) at times and the tracks often have fewer layers. I find Scizoeffective better.

yes, music cds and flac/wav downloads are too expensive, imo, atleast here[in most post soviet countries, imo] it is too much - paying 11 and more euros per cd+shipping, and since you can get music for free from p2p, then why saving pennies for few cds per year [if any] if you can download allmost everything and it will cost you nothing [if you have bandwidth].
i would certainly buy shitloads of cds, but i simply cant afford them, give me few thousand euros and ill start right away, otherwise its not financially gainfully.
The most important reason to buy is your moral obligation to pay for the artist's work. Buy as many (or few) as you can.

Dont know where you buy your cds, but I find 14-19 euros a cd pretty fucking expensive. (pardon my french there). Even beatport is taking outrageous prices for their DOWNLOADABLE cds.
1.49 pounds per track? 13.41 pounds per downloadable release?! And you aparently pay MORE for a WAV! No sir, this is not the future of music, this is the future of downfall of many more labels. *mumbles something about ripoff*
But hey, I dont know, maybe youre loaded with money, and you are able to download music for 14 pounds a release.
What really gets me is that Iboga themselfs sell the SAME album I got the price from online (and its a hardcopy cd) for 11 euros... now THAT is a nice price for a cd.... it COULD go even cheaper in the future though, and the artist would not lose a penny on it.
No need to get worked up dude. I mostly buy my CDs at Psyshop and pay 12-14 euros per disc (including postage to Finland). Considering that a CD costs 22 euros in Finland, that's a good price. I'm not swimming in money, and 28 euros a month on two CDs doesn't break most budgets. Even if you didn't want to pay the middlemen (labels, distributors, retailers...), buying nothing will result in the artist getting no compensation for their hard & passionate work. And FYI I think Beatport's prices are way too high for downloads.

Japanese promo texts are my favourite.

It sounds good enough for me. In what quality will the final net release be? 320 kbps? Wav?
The live vid was cool too. The drummer was great. If he's your regular gig companion, then you are very fortunate.

We will 100% focus on getting bookings for Artists, as we understand that the main income for them is not to release records (Maybe that will change if people can afford to pay for music again…)
Excuse me? CDs aren't that expensive. It's a nobrainer to trim your other spending for a disc or a few a month.
Sorry this is OT, but I cracked up when I saw your nick PsychedelicVegetable and the Clockwork Orange avatar. Almost spit breakfast porridge from my mouth. Hilarious!

Funnily enough, I was just listening to the samples of this new VA at Psyshop which is very much like the early 00's minimal:

Noma - Navigator

Awesome full-on is an oxymoron.

"international shipping _without_ jewel cases"? Erm?

Uh oh, ReBirth's potential is seriously limited. Buzz is far more versatile.

Actually, we had a discussion about that some time ago. I always thought it referred to "you can always neglect/ignore a friend, but when someone offers you dope, you can't refuse it"
My friend understood it as: "you can trust a friend, but when you trust a drug, it'll stab you in the back"
Now which meaning are they referring to in the movie? I for the life of me can't remember!
Your friend's is the right interpretation. In that scene they had had an argument and the other guy which was greatly under the influence of substances had threatened Depp's character with a knife.

Indeed. One of the most exquisite I've ever heard.
Today's (or rather last Friday's) purchases:
Hallucinogen - Twisted
Hall. - The Lone Deranger
Shpongle - Tales of the Inexpressible
Holy cow he is talented.
And also
Juno Reactor - Bible of Dreams
JR - Labyrinth
JR - Shango

The lady on the cover has too big breasts. I'm not buying the record.

Why do they have bands' own lyrics there listed as samples? For example X-Dream wrote (and sung) themselves most if not all on We Interface.
-
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
-
Lift a sample from some B class horror movie?

I vote "D) Gods don't exist."

www.musicstack.com especially for older releases, some cheaper others more expensive.

I strongly believe that the greatest reason is the strong pressure to conformity, sound like others so that DJs play them and people listen & buy them. Sadly even heavyweights like AP and Pleaidians don't dare to take a risk.
