    those came yesterday so I might have more waiting for me when I get home.

    On a side note, its not very common to make critique about mastering for an album but Jos/Fab, the mastering has the open hat in Contorsion pushed up quite higher than intended (which also indirectly lowers the volume/impact of the hihats going in 16ths) , its at about 2/3rds that volume on my release copy I sent, compared to the original its emphasized enough to draw attention away from the dynamic parts of the song, particularly the bass is more defined as that was by a small amount the loudest part playing of the track and what you rythmically follow as its something that is neither full on nor prog in style which is the rythmic styles of bass being used now, and was what I'd liked to have had emphasized strongest on the track.

     

    But thats not to say I don't understand what you were intending to do with the chance, with more emphasis on repetition via the hat you seem to slow the track down (seemingly) and make it more of a "follower" style track rather than a groover...be it that in this way it fits better as an intro or starting up track to serve as the rythm initiatior and psychedelic landscape. But...when the open hats (doof....tss....doof....tss ) sound louder than the bass they naturally are what people unconsciously listen to to set the rythm, which there is expressed as 4/4ths temp, when the bassline and hihats (doof t t t doof t t t ) drive the groove of the track at 16/16ths tempo which is most notably/impressively heard in the bit from 3:45 to 4:25

     

    Its the trivialest of trivial nitpicky artist details that don't matter at all almost, but just enough to get pointed out :) Hehehe, peace bros.

    Well, thanks alot for all the reactions here... I want to make 1 thing clear first... This is the one and only way, the artists will get money for their music... even after 10 years! (specially meant to the guy that thinks it should stay untouched), they have no message on a 350€ profit of some guy, they do have a message of 10€ cds sold to all trance lovers allover the world! Like this they will get a decent reward for their work back then!

     

    About the artwork, it will be close to the original, and chosen by Kerry Palmer himself, soon we can show you how it will look :)

     

    Pleiadians - IFO then... no way we will or can re-release it, for various reasons:

    - this may be sought, but it is not as insanely rare as D5 which is at least as good imo

    - Max asks too much money for it

    - we don't want to concentrate on re-releases, simply because we have enough very good music for the future! This D5 re-release was simply because Ra's album needed a little more work... So we thought this would be the perfect teaser... :D

    But ARE there going to be any more re-releases on Suntrip ... :huh:

     

    Just kidding guys :D .

    I am will need to ask Fabien this. I think there will be waves aswell, but i am not 100% sure.

    Don't worry, you are entitled to whatever opinion. But then again, you should hear the actuall tracks first ;) . There are melodies in the new stuff aswell, its just that they come much smoother. There are less climax (thats what i meant with less melodic). The sound will clearly be oldschool. And the energy trademark will be there aswell! You are gonna hear 10000% that this is Filteria. Its just that some changes is coming as a natural evolution of my sound. But don't think for one second i will abandon what i build :) This said, it can't be the same forever.. Think I.F.O. - F.O.L. or Helium - Phototropic. See what i mean with evolution? :)

     

    Also K.O.B. and Filteria is totally separated. And as i've written many times. K.O.B. represents many styles (the K.O.B. album wont sound nothing like Weight Of Oblivion). Just beacuse you din't enjoy the K.O.B. track doesn't mean you won't enjoy the new filteria stuff ;)

     

    And Reger: No, the first version of Flanger Saucer will never come out. The production is horrible :ph34r: Maybe i will rerecord again, but i doubt it..

    Good on you, man! But be aware that sometimes it may take him a little time to reply - he seems very busy or something & few times I lost hope I'll be able to buy anything. Besides, I paid only for 6 of those CDs - he added 3 for free (Mindhunter & 2x Juno) just because I covered all money transfer costs (he doesn't have PayPal because it is very limited for South Africa).

     

    Good luck guys - I've told him few more orders will arrive soon :):D

    He actually got back to me already today and gave me a list of the things he has :) Excited to see if it works out.

    Koxbox - U-Turn

    Within the niche that Goa trance is Koxbox early on managed to create their own niche. Literally within seconds any learned listener can detect Forever After or Dragon Tales from the crowd – how many acts can you say that about? So how does Koxbox fare in 2006 with a sound much more reminiscent of other contemporary acts.

     

    Still like an act with a statement! True, Koxbox has embraced the full-on sound and in a sense become a follower rather than a leader, but if you’re worried that means Koxbox has abandoned offering something for the mind, you can rest assured that Koxbox is still ahead of the crowd. This is dance music, no doubt, but very intelligent so and packed with enough details and ideas to make this equally enjoyable at home.

     

    The first half of the album could possibly be characterized as intelligent full-on while the latter sticks to a more aggressive techno-true sound. With tracks 6 and 7 This Can’t Be Real and Acid Drome being the masterpieces here. I dare any dance floor not to move to this! And any psychohead not to start packing and enter spaceship psychedelia.

     

    Comparisons with Forever After and Dragon Tales are probably just as unavoidable as they are superfluous. Koxbox has long since turned a corner and even if their distinct characteristica is not as present as it used to be, Koxbox is still an act to watch out for. As I heard it stated somewhere: The ol’ man’s still showing the youngsters how it’s done <_<

    Triac - Mean Between

    It’s been a while since the last tech trance album that really mastered the art form of darkness, simplicity and musicability. Cheers up to Triac for bringing the vibe back with Mean Between! Follow this sound to the vault of its sinister, appealing and appeasing inner self and brace yourself for a mind expanding journey. When dark becomes light, so to speak :ph34r:

     

    As with any authentic tech-trance release volume is essential, but if head phones, music portable, deaf neighbours, or festival surroundings ring a bell with you, MB will guarantee a ticket to Alice In Wonderland. These guys know their X-Dream/The Delta material, but where these seek to fry your brain Triac has a head-on dance approach closer at heart I find very appealing. And when they live up to their full potential in Encrypted Session, Yatzek’s Revenge, and Concrete Waves, you’d have to not have a pulse to not move. Outstanding! In addition, Fast Food must provide another innovative mark for progressive trance followers °.° As for the remainder, I’m sure, with the level of relentlessness, balls, and talent these guys flash it’s just a matter of time before I’ll appreciate them even more.

     

    Close to essential material for tech-trance followers, splendid cross-over material for progressive followers, and quality psychedelics for the rest of us open minded psytrance followers. Highly recommended.
