  1. didnt get them today, got them on saturday:

VA - Albedo - Ambient refractions and kaleidoscopic grooves mixed by Nova

    Fahrenheit Project - Part Six

Carbon Based Lifeforms - World of Sleepers

    Nicey nice nice nice :)

Nice ones! I completely fell in love with Albedo after hearing only the first track! (by CBL) :)

  2. Trance? That could be cool but I'd prefer some downbeat just not as chilled as usual!

Such a talented producer though could make any style work :)

Hehehe well "trance" in his own way I guess ;)

The track I mentioned in my post above I would class as 'trance' but the BPM is somewhere between 120 and 125 I think.

I can't imagine a Solar Fields album that wouldn't carry his own innovative sound, whether it be "downtempo" or "trance" or something else. :)

  3. I'm with you in hoping this is a new direction for solar fields. A little bit more upbeat album would definately be welcome. I have all 4 albums & they are ultra chilled beauties but something different would be welcome :)

Actually I think there will be a trance album by Solar Fields, unless there's been a change of plan.

He already did Solar Fields - Overload (Solar Fields & DJ Anti remix) which appeared on VA - Highway on Digital Oracle about a year ago. I think it was also supposed to be released on Spiral Trax' sublabel ACDC plus more Solar Fields trance work but I can't remember who or what or where I read things and I don't know where ACDC is located on the net these days after Spiral Trax died. :(

  4. I just gave our (very) old audio installation with vinyl player the breath of life, actually I was convinced it wouldn't work anymore as it hadn't been touched in like 6 years. It's working though, and now I'm playing

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon LP

we have it on CD as well, but this is way cool B)

This also means I can buy vinyl records now, which means recordlabels will sell 2 or 3 additional records, so it's all for the best

  5. Gus Till - Electric Oceans

Gus Till has been active as a musician, producer and Dj since the Punk days...

...of the 70's in Melbourne Australia.

It participates psychedelic trance scene as slinky wizard from genesis, recently album release with the Zen Lemonade name is newer than Dragonfly in memory, scene prominent creator Gus Till.

Chill out album, electric of the highest quality which is colored in image of the south of the fantasy which the he sends ocean.

Comfortable warmly the acoustic image which is the straw raincoat which is done covers the whole and it is exotic and one oriental starts projecting fantastic scene beautifully.

    Haha, © G. Cohen ? :P

We are pleased to announce a new Twisted Label Party Project!

We have secured the Brixton Academy for the third in the latest series of Twisted Label parties. With a dancefloor size of 3500 including a huge seated gallery area, this will allow you all to see the treats we have in store. Even if you are exhausted and need to go and sit down, you don't have to miss a thing! Our goal is to create a better environment with each party. A more comfortable, cosy and impressive place to party, somewhere you can get truly twisted.

We want to get a true concert vibe going. A main floor with a custom sound system, engineered by the best for maximum brain cell reconfiguration! With the last two parties being almost indoor festivals, spread out over several rooms and with the energy spread out also, this party is going to be much more focused on the old school live psychedelic performances with musicians, that can be shared by the collective party consciousness. Think Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, The Grateful Dead and Phish. Our contribution to this chain of greats will be a unique set from Hallucinogen in Dub, with Ott and Simon Posford on Guitars and Effects with the legendary Youth on the Bass. One day in the future it will be the full Shpongle work out but not this time.

There will also be an alternative back room of 500 capacity which will be housing some alternative beats and breaks and we are going to make this into a beautiful chill out area for your audio visual pleasure. We will of course be creating a unique custom-made decorative environment using cutting edge technology within the whole of this venue.

    More info coming soon!

well bugger me with a fish fork :(

if only I could attend. which I can't.

if any of you pieheads are going.. I bet it'll be fantastic - what a line-up

  7. Just wanted to add one, IDM'ish stuff (I think. I don't know much about "IDM".)

    http://www.narrominded.com/catalogue/nm024/

Tis from a Dutch label, which was apparently founded in the place I live in but has moved to a nearby city. This release itself is actually dedicated to the town I live in. Fun stuff I just found out about.

The label itself seems to be putting out some rock-ish music as well next to electronic/idm stuff, I have not been able to check all releases that are on their site, so I can't say whether they have any more good music, but it might just be a nice addition for the people who like this sort of music.

  8. What the fucking fuck you lacy sukres! Why don't you guys help me out for my very serious question? You guys obviously aren't into music in the same way I am! I can't believe no one is answering me. ME!! People obviously don't listen to music with a summer vibe anymore! I am the onlyone who listens to this style here all you others are stuck listening to your boring winter music with winter feel not fucking emotional summer stuff like me.

    FUCK!!

    :P

Hallucinogen. Ultimate summer feeling is THE POSFORD.

In all seriousnessness now though, Hallucinogen.

now really seriously: perhaps http://www.discogs.com/release/232290 or something OTT ?

I wouldn't mind a nice list of summery tunes myself to be fair, I'm just thinking abakusabakusabakusabakus
