Hello fellow goa-heads!! because of problems with Azelhof we had to change our location, we had to do it véry quickly but we were lucky to find something new, and something very nice in the north of Antwerp! :-)) Bring all your friends, because the location is rather big and it costs véry much, so... help us! ;-)))) So this are the new party-directions: Location: Antwerp Event Space Rijnkaai 150 (at the end of Londonstraat) From Azelhof: Go back direction Lier centrum, when you come at Ring, go left. Keep following Ring direction Antwerp. At lights go Left. Keep following till you arrive at ring in Antwerp. There go left again (direction Gent/E17). Take exit Antwerpen-centrum. This is the last exit before "kennedytunnel", there follow "Schelde". At the first traffic light you go left and you follow the road till the first T-crossroad. At the traffic lights of the T-crossroad you see the river Schelde in front of you. You go right here and you pass 4 trafficlights. At the Bonapartedok -right before the gas-station of TOTAL- you see at your left, at the side of the river Schelde, a wooden magasin with a steel basis and with the writing "Hangar 26-27". if you drive on the parking lot at the right of this magasin, you'll see Hangar 29 at your right! From Brussels: If you come from Brussels you drive through craybeckstunnel and you follow direction Gent. Then you arrive at E17/Ring where you take exit Antwerpen-Centrum. there follow "Schelde". At the first traffic light you go left and you follow the road till the first T-crossroad. At the traffic lights of the T-crossroad you see the river Schelde in front of you. hey guys it's déja vu ! each time we try to tidy up this forum people complain, then the forum gets calmer, then becomes untidy again....and again and again...it's circular. mark alien is neither right, nor wrong : you guys have all rights here except : - do something that could put us into trouble towards the law or any big lobby/industry - hack this server i took some measures against those 2 things only....only that i think what is remaining is enough liberty, no ? you wanna speak about trading, about drugs, then go to the offtopic or losttracks forums. its ok as long as you dont say "ok let's meet here to trade this substrance/this mp3" pretty easy.

acceptable...

Hello With Audiogalaxy's new rules and the neverending mp3 trend, we saw new kinds of posts here. - either "audiogalaxy down, where wil we swap now ?" - or "can you give me this or that pseudo-technical advice about mp3s ?" under "General" i can read "general discussion about psytrance", not "general discussion about mp3s". I wanna be clear : this site DOES NOT encourage mp3 piracy and trading. You may know about copyright laws and stuff like that....once again we want to stress the fact that WE would NOT like to be charged for what YOU say here. ok ? HOWEVER i would never have deleted so many posts these days if they had been written in the good forums : - If you want to find OLD out-of-stock releases and think you can only get them by swapping some mp3s, i think it's possible to do something in the "Lost tracks forum". - If you want to set a virtual meeting point to compare your OWN music compositions, your posts won't be deleted if they are in the "Off Topic" forum. Now you know the concern, the solution, so you know what to do. thanks.

mp3s contain hidden strings (ID3 tag) with several pieces of information on the track..provided you fill them. so you can have a FILE title different from the TAG title. btw this is the last time i answer mp3 questions. please read the thread about that above this one in the list

GOOD QUESTION +1 for your exams ! well my bandwidth could do it for 1 stream and we had a relay. but the guy was too lazy to ensure a 24/24 uptime. so we stopped. BUT i friend of mine is setting up a shoutcast radio in france. his website will be up in a few days and he has lots of contacts to get some mixes from known artists AND he has 50 relay streams to offer you. if it works i think our radio link could become an external link pointing on his streams !

well thank Children twice in that case !!

children got a phone call today : "....hey i have recompiled the server's kernel and i have no internet connection anymore.....can you remind me the howto page on defcon1.org please ?" just to tell the kernel recompilation fucked up totally today, which caused the 5-hour forum deadline. a few more moments and the upgrade will be 100% complete.
-
i got it !! it's my fault. will be posted soon
-
the apache+php+zlib+things upgrade was done last night. i cut the line 2 hours only. currently the kernel of the server is being recompiled, so there will be 1 reboot maybe this afternoon, and if it restarts, the forum will be upgraded just after that, and you wont be disturbed for that.
-
i'm currently upgrading lots of proggies to their newest versions on the "Onde" server (www.onewayltd.com on the net. it's the server i have at home that hosts those forums and other things). there have seen lots of security issues adressed since january, so it's high time. so the forum will probably be off sometimes...and maybe you'll have an updgraded forum soon too !!

i heard rumours about the castle's park not being confirmed....be prepared to go elsewhere

to people posting crap : as you know, i'm held responsible of whats on my forums, towards the french law. so i wont accept any abuses. i was a routing engineer in a telcom company, i have lots of contacts. you may use proxies, but providers always keep logs of what goes thru their servers/routers/proxies in case the police asks them for a serious reason. yes, here it's not serious but one call from me and people at those providers will do me a favor and track you, then shut down your line. This is not a warning, i'll do it asap. if people i know have too much work they'll keep you in store and treat your case later...else they'll make your internet life a hell. let me tell you that i wont tolerate a mess to happen here. if you have a problem with us, just contact me directly here but please let this place quiet. i hope it's clear. mars.

wow you replied 4 minutes after my post ! i forgot to say that when we left, all of the flyers for our party had disappeared. When we arrived my friends thought i had brought too many flyers with me, but there were not enough....this is a good sign )) i'll give a big part of the rest to Roopak for that party in which he'll play next week end in paris, and i'll put the last ones in techno import....hmmm

This Elephant'om party was in fact filled with BooM Records artists. So it was planned ot be outdoors but the uncertain weather conditions made it that we gathered in the caves of a castle pretty far from paris.... i couldn't dance due to a wounded leg/foot so i took the time to visit. the place was incredible : first a big dancefloor like a "L" with the djs/acts in the corner, then a few meters of catacombs, then a long dedalus of caves and small rooms on the left and on the right. some of those rooms were used for stands, bars, others were corners with the main room's sound in it, or simply silent and black, and the last one was a small circular chillout with its own soundsystem. really relaxing. i said hello to many people, put our flyers everywhere and listened : - (Zephyr had played before we arrived) - i don't know the name of the dj that played then, but it was pretty psychotic...too hard for the begining of the night i think. - then Zendaï played : mostly Alien Project / Logic Bomb stuff. Conventional but good. .....and after that, this was the typical style of parties you Belgian people would have loved : - Battle of the Future Buddhas replaced Fractal Glider, originally on the lineup. The Buddhas are totally unknown in france but people won't forget them : they played truly psycho music during 90 mins. it was heavy with lots of psychedelic breaks and melodies..the guys were moving a lot, people enjoyed and shouted. BOTFB sound is not really clear but it gave a very cool touch of underground that made people dancing. hell !! during their act i spoke a bit with MattBoom. I had seen him in Antwerp once. He told me he liked our compil, and......(you'll read later) - at the end of the act, there was a very very linear track. People landed and MattBooM could play all his crazy stuff...it was very very psychedelic. Actually the most psychedelic stuff he has at the moment. so Teleport remix, Come on remix, some Alien projects remixes, Fractal Glider's Chasing Ganesha remix, etc, etc, etc...rhaaaaa..people became nuts !!!! near the end of his set, i was standing in the middle of the dancefloor, amazed by the wonderful ambiance, and a new track started. my friend Ben told me "this is on out compilation"....and indeed i recognized Agalactica's Awkward Lightrate !! with the huge soundsystem we had in those caves, the track sounded like some infected. (actually Matt had told me he would play it because he thought it was awesome. so if you Agalactica guys read me, know that MattBoom plays your track a lot !).... People became nuts again and i was happy. after that Matt could play whatever he wanted, people were mindblown ! The set ended on some pure psy stuff again. we though the climax of the party had passed....but NO ! - Rastaliens started their live act : the first track was a very good psychedelic stomper, people started to smile...and you know what ? it was the least good track of the act ! E.v.e.r.y. single track was a shock. The track were filled with psychedelic sounds, *all the time*, sometimes it sounded like some Infected Mushroom's. The technical acheivement of these guys is incredible. It was SO great ! i was with good friends speaking about their equipment and music and we noticed they played directly some melody on the keyboard (!!!) and that many of the sounds we could hear were really generated realtime by the synths. We were blown away ! you can't imagine....i even tried to dance. The dancefloor was still filled and it was 8AM when they stopped and were applaused. - After that, we had Franco and some other guy from SubMachine records, and they played really minimalistic stuff (mainly MOS). people were hot enough to dance on anything and the party went on. i left because my leg was too painful. So if you Boom records guys read me, i can tell you you did the job 100% well and i think Paris people won't forget you overnight !!!!

hello i just came here to tell about yesterday's party in paris which was awesome, and i just found a lot of garbage threads on the first page of this forum....i have a lot of work and don' t come often here, so i don't even wanna know about what's posted bofore.......... nevertheless i'd like to tell you 2 things : - if you moderators can't handle those foums anymore, just tell it. - this server is hosted in france, its hardware and domain name belong to me. and the problem is that, in france, the law says that i am responsible of what people post on the forums. you understand what it means ? okay ? bye.
