Heva! You´re the queen!! That´s the way to go  :)

    380783

Well the thing is, I know the prices will go up and up, and I want to fly from Mancehster not London, otherwise it makes it complicated. So I saw a cheapish flight, and I thought 'fuck it I'll book' so I did. Waaa! I'm meeting a good friend from australia who I havent seen for 4 years, we're going to party like we used to!

Would be amazing to see some of you people there

    *is excited*

  2. Bus details from the city centre!!

Take the number 35, 45 or 72 from upper briggate (opposite the grand arcade/new gatecrasher club). ask for £1.20

get off bus after 4 stops (the stop after the bmw/mini garage just immediately before the sets of traffic lights, *not* the one at the bottom of the hill by the derelict bakery but the one about 100m further opposite the sketchy looking pub)

cross straight over scott hall road (the dual carriageway) and take the road that runs diagonally down and away from you alongside the park. follow it round to the left, past all the railings, take a right, its the single story working mens type club in front of you.

    :D

  3. Oh and if anyone can give me a lift that would really be appreciated :)

    379406

aww I'd give you alift, but I'm heading over from Manc, and I always get lost driving round Leeds. Every single time. I usually have to phone a friend to come and rescue me. It's the only place I ever get lost in. So I'll have to see you there I'm afraid. Although I can get bus info for you :)

  4. Ben I'm posting this for you!!! I know you like the chill side of things, and it's not everyday that ott plays in Leeds!

I'll be there for sure. And I've had permission to bring my deck-chair. I'll be mostly sat on my deck-chair like an old lady right in the middle of the chill out room!

Hope to see you (and anyone else in the area) there :)

  5. Ben are you reading this??? :P

  6. I'm booking my flight on pay-day (20th November). The thing is with these events is you can't please everyone eh. I agree that Eskimo and GMS and Infected aren't everyone's cup of tea, but lots of people do like them. I won't be shuffling my shuffles on the dancefloor when these doods are playing. But the progressive side of things seems to have a good representation (andromeda/chromosome/lish/phoney orphants/son kite/ticon/yotopia/d-nox) etc which is good enough for me.

Plus experiencing an full solar eclipse is something very special. And this is gonna be a long one. I can't wait.

  7. It sadly seems that their stuff isn't compatible with me. Especially the stuff after Science Of The Gods is plain obnoxious.

Alien Artifacts seems pretty nice though - what's more like that one?

    355979

ye the newer stuff is quite different, I'd say from Science of the Gods onwards...specifically when this album was released it was so different I was a bit 'uh-oh dunno if I like it' but I have to say it quickly grew on me and now I think it's a classic.

I think you'd like some of their earlier stuff for sure, I have an EP called 'Epsylon' which is coolies, and their album 'Implant' which is also very good.

I love eat static, they were the first live 'dance-act' that I ever saw, they have a place in my heart. They have an excellent live show.

  8. I got this album a couple of weeks ago, and it is c00lio!!! Love it, haven't heard an artist album which makes me go 'mmm yesh lovely lovely' for a while, but this one did. Nice one, go and buy it people! B)

  9. Yeah well.....the sound is phat and smashing, definitely a nice remix but.....there is only one Psychomachine.

    342993

Ok so I finally got my mittens on the electroscopic compilation - and the psychomachine rmx is quality! I was wondering whether I'd hate it, since I appreciate the original so much, but it's excellent. Cheers folks for opening my otherwise half closed eyes to this one :D

  10. we're not pressuring each other to start voice chats, if it happens, it happens on the spot.

we haven't had sessions since last winter-spring i think.

text chat happens more often though :)

but i'd like to have you in my list, so here is my msn: monikotz@yahoo.com

    :)

    350220

sweet, I'll add you :D Only have msn at home tho, not work (evil work people) :)

  11. Moni I should add you on my msn or something....what's your msn? Are you back online at home?? :D

If you heard me talk I'd have a well english accent, with hints of northern-ness hehe. But I have the fear so it isn't gonna happen.

  12. I can't do all that IRC malarky, it's too much for my tiny mind and I installed that Skype thing, but that's too much for my tiny mind as well....I couldn't find any of my friends contact details. Plus I hate doing the talking thing, I don't mind the typing thing, but the talking is too wierd.....plus you'd all find out that I sounded like a man....hehe not really. Mwah!!!

I can do MSN , that's about it.....

  13. Heva, I envy you on that matter. Living in or near London (and being of full age of course) in the early 90s would have been THE shit for me, as it seems pretty much all of my favourite artists played at the Club Dog/Megadog events. Line-ups to die for....

    347856

Ye some fairly special parties! My first Megadog was when I was about 15 years old, I never looked back (my older brother used to take me to these parties with his friends) :D

They started doing a 'Megadog' night up in Manchester very recently, but it's gone all acid techno - they get the likes of the Liberator Dj's and stuff like that. And I think one of the old dj's just started using the Megadog name, because I think Michael Dog doesn't have anything to do with it. *shrug*

  14. Children Of The Bong - Sirius Sounds (Planet Dog)

Great dubby ambience. Saikosounds has this rare thing in STOCK, so go order it already. Failing to buy = failing life. Simple, no? This is really perfect.

    345075

Yep - this is real old-skool hehe. Used to love Children of The Bong, and this is a real classic album. Megadog rock, my first introduction to parties were Megadog all-nighters, si anything released by them has a place in my heart.

Really surprised this is still available!

  15. I'm gonna venture down to London for this, so thought I'd share the details :D

  16. There's a big crew of psy-trancers in Brighton and subsequently quite a few parties happen in and around the area. Unfortunately it's getting a bit late in the day for outdoor gatherings, but there'll still be plenty of indoor parties happening. The best place to look is www.psy-forum.co.uk which has quite a well kept parties section, plenty of parties in Brighton are listed on there. Plus there are loads of people from brighton on that forum who you can ask for more info.

    Good luck :)
