  1. I believe that Necton is the kind of band that don't got a big numerous support due to their hybrid style that is able not to fit with proggy lowers coz of their too heavy kick & fat bassline & also with fulloners or oldschoool lovers due to the discret or minimal harmony-melody. That's a pity.

Yee I do like children of the noizy village, I've played it a lot, and its got a few quality tracks. I think you're right though le lotus bleu, it's kind of in-between, It doesn't nestle anywhere into any particular style of psytrance, which isn't a bad thing, but it means less people are likely to go for it.

  2. I am browsing on psyshop looking for something new to buy....the review says 'one of the greatest progressive psytrance Cd that you have ever listed to'. I think they mean listened to, but I get the jist. Has anyone heard it? Is it really that great? Has a few of my fave artists on there.

Anyway, I cant see that anyone has reviewed this yet....and I can't make decisions today....so anyone heard? Any good?

  3. He is in the process of writing a second album. You can PM him via isratrance where he likes to lurk and take the piss a lot. He is also a frequentor of the following forum http://x2c.termisoc.org/forum/. I think you should send him a PM and nag him about sorting it out

Have to agree, he is wonderfully talented, and I also have much appreciation for his tunes.

  4. Bwahahahahahhaa! Aaaah I nearly wet myself laughing at those....what a chump, that cover really sucks. I just saw it on psyshop, I think it might even be worse than the skazi phonokol comp cover. Chumpsville.

Sorry, I shouldn't say things like that in the reviews section....a-herm...

  5. honestly haven't read the whole thread ... but if you haven't heard this album already check it out --> Shaman - Foretaste

Yep Have to agree this is a rather nice album!! There's been lots of nice proggy comps lately as well, I love trance Scandinavia express (turbo trance records), groove zone (Groove zone recs) and that groove one on tatsu (ground grooves??). Can't get enough progressive, I tend to spend lots of time at festys waiting for the progressive to get played....seems like theres a few festys this year that are focusing more on this style, which is always nice.....ramble ramble.....

  6. AAaaaah I love listening to quality chill, off the top of my head there's a couple of tracks that spring to mind:

Ott - Smoked Glass and Chrome - You see, usually I can't stand women warbling vocals in tunes, but this track is devine. Sooo beautiful, top notch, can't wait for the next ott offering :)

Nada - Raji Mati MMMMMMMMMMmmm nada! I think butterfly dawn was my first ever nada-experience, and again another beautiful track! I am now a liquid sound design convert, love all their releases, but nada are definately my fave.

Ooze - Quintessence What happened to OOze? I love this track, in fact I love the whole album, but this one is fab. Happy memories of driving down the highway in Aus post-doof with a bit of OOze blasting :)

There's loads more that make me go 'MMMMMMMMMMmmmmm' but that'll do for now :D

  7. Wicked, cheers for the info Krelmatrix :D And looks like I might even gt a little dose of psy whilst I'm there!! Wonderful! I'll have to cunningly drag my non-psy mates there, 'ye I know tis great place called the Cross Club' *snigger*

Will let you know how I get on

  8. Can you help have been out of the scene for a while, used to go to the fridge and tyssen street(otherworld, return to the souce, science fiction, pendragon etc) looking for parties in london, picked up an antiworld flyer but.......

I guess hte best place to look for london parties at the moment is access all areas, they generally sell tickets for all the major events in London. Www.accessallareas.org

If you are in London, you could nip into the psy dream temple in Camden, they have loads of flyers, and should be able to point you in the right direction of a nice party. Nice cafe upstairs as well ;)

It's down at the moment, but www.psy-forum.co.uk also has extensive psy party listings for all of the UK.

    Good luck :D

  9. Hey Cinos, seems like no-one has any recomendations for us :( I tell you what, I'll tell you all the cool places to see when I get back. Might even take some piccies :)

  10. Just wondering whether any of you folks have visited Prague?? I'm going for a weeks holiday there in April, and was wondering whether anyone had any recomendations of cool places to go or quality things to see??? I hear they sell jagermeister very cheaply, so I'm sure whatever I do I'll have a good time. But I prefer to get advice from people who have been rather than a guidebook.

    Any suggestions welcome, thanks B)

  11. I heard only good things about Antiworld parties...

Hmmmm, the mere mention of Antiworld on other forums leads to at least 10 pages of anti-antiworld ranting. They do not have a good reputation. Seems they are more interested in $'s than organising parties with a nice 'psytrance vibe'. Not to mention their methods of spamming, sorry I mean advertising. :o
