I'm giving the first listen today, wanted to review this if I like (and I'm sure I will), but I see abasio is enthusiastic We'll see.
-
"When Solar Fields meets Aes Dana" this sign is cheesy
-
Anyone seen the wrestler yet? That's next on my to-see list, looks awesome!!
I've seen it, you won't be disappointed.
-
Try latest Kino Oko.
-
When will this be available at psyshop? :posford:
I guess in 2 weeks on 6th March, it says so at arabesque distribution.
-
Straight from the first listen I felt like home, in my opinion, this is the best Ultimae release this year. I even feared the label was going in wrong direction with their latest releases, though I Awake was quite good, but a bit misplaced and under-worked.
Edges met successfully here after very worm journey. Ultimae are back on track with Solar Fields album, HUVA Network, Asura (and I hope Aes Dana too) in line-up for this year.

I've heard it may be a bit boring for the wide audience, will definitely watch it.
-
It is sort of amusing... on a board full of old school fans most of you guys seem to be much more into "new school" movies with their full-on special effects what about the classics?
I'm totally out of movies and I see them as time killers/fillers.
-
They need Chuck Norris, because I believe they will struggle.
Let's keep our fingers crossed!
-
I also agree, detailed reviews are good, but who has the time to write them? I could easily write a few sentences.
-
I'm not sure yet, but I think I will vote for this album. Promise us that there will be the second chapter if it wins
-
This is proper forest music. I will move to part 2, which was released not long ago.
Recommended.

Apart from the ones mentioned:
Gel-Sol - Unifactor (Upstairs Recordings, 2007)
Gel-Sol - IZ (Psychonavigation Records, Upstairs Recordings, 2008)
Sync24 - Source (Ultimae, 2007)
Ian Ion - Gringo Locomotion (Chill Tribe, 2007)
Krill.Minima - Nautica (Native State, 2008)

This album is so plain and simple, yet so worked out and detailed. As a result, very confident sound, pleasant and enjoyable music. Bonus tracks add to the album, but I recommend listening without those for the first couple listens, because they gave me a blurry and unfinished feeling to the album.
One of the few progressive albums I enjoyed this year, definitely recommended. And yeah, the vocals fit well here (not that I want more of them).

Old Antix and Freq (Iboga Records) and Zenon Records for edgier stuff.

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring
Awesome movie but very sad. it's worth watching just for the location where it was filmed, so beautiful . it's one of those movies that keeps your head busy even after watching it!!! recommended (8.5/10)
i liked the music too
Everyone who watched this should watch all the other movies by Kim Ki-duk, they are all fantastic.

Did you guys see the pathetic poll @ Isratrance? :wank: Parvati's No Strings Attached had 50% less votes because it's a compilation (split album, actually, but who cares) and some guys voted for it in the Best Album category... and Detox says "votes deleted, case closed, have a nice day mate" ...omg
I hope we won't fall to that level, ok?
-
That's interesting. I hope to see Decoy's full album at Iboga one day - they are good musicians.
-
The Machinist (Maquinista, El)
Another one of those warped reality movies about... ok, no spoilers So-so, not bed but not ground breaking either. Worth checking out.

Now the Carbon Based album and 2009 is already a bomb
Looks like somebody has some information on Carbon Based Lifeforms new album? Will you spill the light please? =)
-
Wow im impress by the number's of the answers!!
thanks a lots to all of you!Specials thx to Amphiton and murphy the cat
Now Ive a bunch of dub music to listen at....
I wouldn't call Ashtech "pure dub", some even laughed at me for calling this kind of music "dub" about a year ago, nevertheless it has lots of dub elements and I wrote these names because they sound alike and I listened to Ashtech in pair with those, enjoy

Hum after the new Solar Field album and the Aes Dana ep can be anything else than a true masterpiece
Any official date??
Which EP are you talking about?

HUVA NETWORK - [ Ephemeris ] - coming really soon
The two boys made it again. After a few travels Sweden-France and vice-versa, Solar Fields and AES Dana
cooked up 10 immersive tunes infused with oniric trip-hop, ambient geometries and morning trance.
The album is planned for an early March release. We'll be putting audio samples online soon and launch
pre-orders next week with another of our newsletters.
[ Ephemeris ] is a deep sonic ground swell, an album of contrasts, 10 tracks structured upon subterranean bass lines, transversal and luminous pads, crisp, crunchy beats. A mesmerizing ensemble of fresh atmospheres and intense, forward driving melodies.
The inspiration for the album title comes from the artists Vincent Villuis and Magnus Birgersson's collaboration process, determined by the patterns of encounter in time and space, the alignment of creative moods and coordination of life's innate forces.
