The sound has changed, it's less polished and you can feel the inertion from his latest releases under different names. Lets wait for the album now
-
I found it infinitely boring. The kind of music they play in elevators
Nice elevators you've got there!
-
Yeah, it's as eclectic as you would expect from those guys, I enjoy it every time Give it a try.

That is an excelent list, we seem to be on similar wavelengths. If you are into Stewart Walker, be sure to check out "Grounded in Existence" which is a bit less dance and more melodic, but probably his best. Anyway, there's a lot I don't know here, so I'll take a look cheers!
Psynews member Pedro recommended me Stewart Walker (as well as many other stuff), I liked it and Grounded in Existence is on my want list for some time now. GaySatanicHippy gave some recommendations as well, pity they didn't post in this thread.

Check the title again

Extrawelt - Schone Neue Extrawelt (Cocoon, 2008)
complex, very musical

Stewart Walker - Concentricity (Persona, 2007)
Robert Babicz - A Cheerful Temper (Systematic, 2007) (just see the list of equiptment he used)
gentle, featured in many top ten's of 2007
Efdemin - Efdemin (Dial, 2007)
Pantha du Prince - This Bliss (Dial, 2007)
trance from the point of view of minimal
Aril Brikha - Ex Machina (Peacefrog, 2008)
other awesomenesses
Luke Solomon - The Difference Engine (REKIDS, 2008)
John Tejada - Where (Palette, 2008)
Ricardo Villalobos - Vasco (Perlon, 2008)
Boris Brejcha - Mein Wahres Ich (Harthouse Mannheim, 2008)
Gabriel Ananda - Bambusbeats (Karmarouge, 2007)
Guy Gerber - Late bloomers (Cocoon, 2007)
The Field - From Here We Go Sublime (Kompakt, 2007)
VA - Balance 12 - Lee Burridge (EQ, 2007)
That's subjective, of course, and not exactly 'minimal', rather a blend of techno, house, electronica, dub, trance and ambient with a mnml approach. I think they are all must-haves, some are better than the others, some just need time to get into. Happy digging =) ...and sorry for being a month late
Thread could be moved to other electonica.

Evan already gets the producer of the year award. Any doubts?
-
"Liquid Journeys" stands apart countless generic, laptop-produced downtempo releases (with ethnic wailing ripped from the same sample CDs).
Really? Will have to check it out then and hope abasio comes up with a review.
Impressive cover!

This one is everything I like about progressive house mixes by Sasha, Digweed and Nick Warren - great tunes, top mixing, crystal sound. Some may find it cheesy, though. Just finished listening to it, btw... for the 10th time since I got it =)

I enjoy this from home listener's point of view. At first I had a strange feeling because it wasn't anything I was expecting, but it kept me listening and with time it grew on me.
Schöne indëëd!

Finally! :posford:

So I missed the release date? It should be in our shops in about 6 months, as usually. Will eat some waffles till then
-
It's should have been mid October... Ah! Will have to wait.
Thank you, suntrippers!
-
Nice! I've been following his releases too and never expected Hibernation album to be released at Aleph Zero. Let's hope it's up to his compilation tracks and much better than recent Aleph's releases

Anders Ilar is very nice, check his lps and album.
You can mention more names/tracks and I could recommend something as I was listening to mnml for some time now (less dancefloor oriented).
-
Cover typography unusually suxxor as for *Dragon labels.
-
In general - some pearls with boring stuff, nothing groundbraking. Also notice that 1/2 of Kritical Audio is the Vibrasphere guy.
-
Ultimae should have it soon. Haven't seen it in our shops yet, but here you can find almost everything released by russians, I might come across it.
-
Great as always. Nice subtle mix, congrats
-
I was also skeptical about Tribal Vision before I heard the album. I'm even happy now it's released there, kathmandu

Excellent album!
Reminds me a lot of Yagya's beautiful tech-dub soundscape masterpiece "Rhythm of Snow" that was released back in 2001.
Also recommended listening of you are into that kind of music: Marko Fürstenberg, check out some of his free releases at www.thinnerism.com
This argument convinced me I loved Marko's releases at thinner Will hunt this one down. Also, thanks for the review, Abasio.
UPD: Hunted down. Will give it the first listen shortly
Bluetech - Phoenix Rising

I find Bluetech to sound glossy (which isn't a bad thing), but this album sounds more matte.
