    I was experimenting with, or I am experimenting with certain psychoacoustic phenomena....

     

    Instead of entirely wacky explanation.. Mostly computer bug, software developers, they are not thinking that you want a frequency at 31 thousand hertz, so the vst decides on its own... 19 thousand hertz... I have to learn max/msp I think. Because max is a little more correct with the tone generation and single cycle sample playback/response than cakewalk/virsyn stuff.......

     

    I was planning on learning max... I don't know. It is a very difficult program, and once I start, I will go through a whole new learning curve period. But, unfortunately I think it might be the only way to get the computer to do what I want....

     

    Especially, because that tone should not have been there!!

     

    I didn't catch it really yesterday, cause I probably spent a few hours mixing the track. I should have looked with a Spec Analyzer... I just assumed 31 thousand, cause that is what the computer screen said. Actually, it was about 19.100 and it was multi-plied to probably - 10 db...

     

    arrg, it is another reason to seriously consider max...

    Now, I couldn't concentrate on the music. There is a small tinitus-like sound throughout the whole track especially in the first 2 minutes.

    I have sensitive ears, and because of that small sound i couldn't concentrate on the track at all.

     

    And i couldn't even listen to the whole track as it gave me headache.

     

    perhaps it's me, but listen carefully and you might hear it as well.

     

    Sorry to put it this way - your music is great, but i couldn't listen to that track, could it be that youtube-compressing the track made it sound this way. i've checked with both the speakers and my headphones, the sound is still there, just more clear with the headphones on.

     

    about the sound it's more hearable in the start and in the end it's allmost not there, still but not really

    listening to it with my new headphones

    and i must say the intro of this track sent chills up spine :) love it! ^_^

     

    In the beginning when the radio started - i thought this could be some dark fullon track like Rinkadink's pirate signal!!

    But this is way bettarhg!!

     

    Goddamnit Billy, i know this has been told many times before but you are a goddamn genious! everything you touch is gold! please start a religion so i can worship you - where do i sign up?

     

    I reall felt like being in an underwater adventure while listening to it! ^_^ - have you ever considered making really down-beat ambient music, i think you could rival Eat static in some aspects.

     

    I've listened to most of your songs, and i feel like i'm being head first plounged into an epic journey each time! ;D

     

    The only thing bothering me was that it felt a bit short after the long intro -

    gonna listen to it a few times more. :posford:
