  1. I find that it's hit or miss though. But I still appreciate his efforts for a concept he's trying to perfect in a particular song I may not love to death. I like most of his work and trying to get some of the works he did under different aliases like Polygon Window, Caustic Window, etc. It's difficult, at the very least. The tracks nemo mentioned are definitely up there on the favorite list. Though, I would like to hear what he would sound like if he did more tracks like Come To Daddy. Or maybe some more dark ambient kind of stuff. Strictly DnB is fine but it gets kind of boring after awhile if he listen to it over and over. But with a guy like James, nothing is exactly repetitive unless it's more of an ambient track.
  2. Listening to the hums of computers and people talking in the background as I surf the web at college.
  3. You're overrated. Heh jk. But uh, could you give me (us) a reason(s) why? I'm curious.
  4. Wow. That one is pretty bad. They just need to have like a Wal-Mart label on there or something to complete the gay package.
  5. Where do you ordre from Abasio? Just curious. I might order Flight of the Urubus but I don't think it's available anywhere. Well, maybe some places. Other than that, if I had a bit of extra moolah laying around, I'd probably get: Ra - 9th Ra - To Sirius Bluetech - Rising Poenix Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger Ka-Sol - Fairytale Ka-Sol - Ghost Story some dark ambients some darkpsy some other shit
  6. Ok, I've taken a gander at Flight of the Urubus via saiko sounds. And here is what I think: Given with the amount I was able to listen to with the samples, Flight of the Urubus definitely isn't as good as Spontaneous Illumination. But at the same time it's not bad either; definitely leaps and bounds better than Golden Cap. It's a step in a different direction and not a terribly bad one. I think this step just threw people off and they end up not liking it because it probably sounds pretty cheesy. When I was listening to it, it was almost to a point where it was getting cheesy even for me but they seemed to have kept it to a certain line where it can be bareable. Skullcap is probably my favorit. Though, I would like to hear the full version of Microcondian. Basically most of the album I like except for maybe the last two songs. It was starting to drift off by then. But hey, they had a lot of expectation to live up to right? Especially after putting out Golden Cap. I think they came through with a goodie and people should just keep an open mind and may even start liking the album. But to each his own.
  7. Well, I don't know if the whole planet has embraced him but he sure does turn some heads.
  8. I guess I could always listen to samples on saiko...
  9. Who here even has heard a song past Come to Daddy from RDJ? I think he should definitely be considered to be one of the best innovators in recent memory when it comes to breakbeat and such. What do you guys think of him?
  10. Well, for the record. I haven't heard it yet. :- /
  11. From what I've heard of the samples. It's not a bad album. Not sure if I like the first 3 songs too much but the rest of them are great.
  12. At least Melancholyman is understandable. There's some people with the native language of english (brittish or american) and can't even type coherently. It's pretty sad. Anyway, back on topic: So you're telling me that if I made a bunch of gimmick accounts here and on other music sites raving about Flight of the Urubus being the best album of the year would make it true?
  13. People have different tastes. If enough people said that it was one of the best in 2008, would that be right? *shrug* who knows. It's all based on opinions, not fact. So there's no "conspiracy" going on.
  14. Got this the other day: I'm just now giving it a listen. Not overly impressed so far.
  15. Sounds more trancey than anything. Some of the vocal samples are a little cheesy.
