Review:

A really good CD from a group composed by Martin Cooper and Toires and

Tajmahal. It sounds a little old compared to groups like Infected

Mushroom or Yahel... But all the tracks are pretty good best tracks

are 1 and 5. My advice his to buy it . 8/10

I agree. The

best tracks are definitely #1,

Lokayakitas, and #5, Processor.

But you know what? They're all

really good! A little simpler than most psychedelic releases,

closer to the Israeli sound (they're French), but in the end

their minimalist style pays off.

All tracks feature a great, manic

arpeggiated bassline, and their

riffs can be HUGE. Good stuff, I

give this an 8 out of 10.

horrible! i expected a good cd after reading these reviews. these songs are all

mind-numbingly bad, except the last one is tolerable. repetitive, cheesy,..

the fact that it's old doesn't excuse annoying sounds. 1/10. DON'T BUY IT! if

you insist on getting an asia 2001 cd, get dreamland or amazon.

I'm not the guy that's going to sh*t all over the early work of such an important artist in goa trance.

Not gonna be me.

But this does sound dated in the year 2013. Sounds thin...like it needs more ingredients. But what they did was stick to a futuristic alien theme that is palpable. There are a few great tracks to be found here. Por ejemplo...Buddha Compation is a good old fashioned 303 beat down that screams the whole way through. 7eme has a dark eerieness in it that made me feel like I was lost in a foreign land. Lokayatikas is the star with that instantly recognizable section in the middle and the title track is also worth mentioning.

Not their best output, but this project had yet to hit their stride.
