Review:

Pretty Good ... Tracks are well built, psychedelic And melodic enough , but it

seems they don't go in a precise direction ...

Indeed, there's no Bad Tracks, but most of them are a little boring ...

there's no Track I really like here ... Rating : 5.5/10

This is perhaps one of my favorite releases ever in the Psy Trance Genre. And

it took me 3 years to realize it! I can't describe it's strange appeal to me,

other than the fact it's got wonderful and powerful melodies with exemplary

percussion. the only downside is that tracks ends abruptly, why I can never

figure out. If it was mixed I would give it 10/10 for now it's a 9/10.

Brilliant psy-trance cd - a real over-looked gem! Reminds me at times of Pink

FLoyd...I think you'll see why as soon as you start listening.

A few moments sounds a bit dated, but it still has retaind its magical

soothing qualities. When R we going to see something new? It's been too

long! 9/10

Perfect for the morning!

Hmm.. I seem to have some other version on LP. It's called Re-Collection and it

does'nt contain track 3, 6 and 9. Instead it has 2 other tracks called "Space

Flipper" and "The Attack" + that it's released in 2000 on Nova Tekk...

Anyway.. This shit it simply perfect. It's my personal favorite album at the

moment with some REAL goatrance and not some minimal repetetive 2000 trend

shit. Great mix between Beautiful stuff (The Attack), original goa and

oriental melodies (Digidub) which I love. Get this for sure. To bad my LP copy

has a scratch on the "Morning Glory" track! DAMN =( anyway 9.5/10 /Bill

Ok, now I've heard two trax from their album "Re-collection". I just have to

say: Pure fucking good goatrance! This is how the shit is supposed to sound!!!

"The Attack" and "Strange Things"... Oh my god!!

Going to by it tomorrow =) You do so too, so that they maybe can release

another album.

i completely agree with Chrisdee and itsi bitsi.

this is indeed good old goatrance , much better than that repetitive,

psychedelic, minimal new stuff they have.

T.R.I.P.P.Y. Oh my fucking god this is awesome!! This is the pure definition of

goa. Tears in my eyes. If you don't lixe this, you don't like goa. Where can i

send money? i want to invest.

Oh, I see I've already reviewed this one =) But I've heard all Digital Sun's

trax now, and it still is amazing old school goa, with a bit lack of

soundquality though. It seems like this is some old side-project by Tarsis...

it feels like it's a bit commersial?

agreed, there is some lack of sound quality when listening trough speakers

but.. the music is beautifull. starting from the first track, an exotic intro,

you can see the sun rising.. followed up by a steady beat, then some.. ah fuck

it, there must be someone better than me at describing this. we need a real

review here, i am not capable. hmm the drums in traxx 1 are quite psychedelic.

I lixe this stuff that slowly changes in pitch, lixe what you would do whith

an acid tune, frex track 1 8:00. i would lixe to hear some recommedations from

ppl that lixe this stuff just as much as i do. I rcmd cosmosis:cosmology and

ofcoz Twisted.

changed my mind. after having it for a while it almost never gets repeat plays.

why? on the first half of the cd all the songs are good, especially 1, 2, and

4. after that they are just bad. no good melodies, ultra-repetitive... just

download some of the songs on mp3, the album isn't worth it. this artist

definitely has talent though. 5/10

Almost playa. Almost. Oh what coulda been.

Had some good goa parts, parts I really liked, but it seemed to be tarnished by the clumsy guitar leads in some tracks. Also it wasn't very deep and lacked complexity, sounding rather simple and repetitive. And what's with the animal noises?

This is like taking brownies out of the oven before they're ready. Looks great on the outside, but the inside is an unfinished mess. This puppy needed more oven time. Still if I was stranded on a desert island it would be essential because the back side of the disc could be used to flag down an air rescue.
