Review:

 

Another great collection of the best melodic Psy-Trance!! The CD starts with

one of the most beautiful melodic Trance song EVER... immediatelt followed by

another very hypnotic Trance-song of Electric Universe... The song of Ubar

Tmar is also véry good, better as his other stuff!! The remix of Land Of

Freedom is not as good as the original but still pretty nice!! Song 5,6&7 are

good... Not véry, good...!! The song of Z to A is the only one I don't like

here but the CD ends good again!! ))) Bom Shankar

If you walk up to me with a piece of sh*t on your face I'm going to avoid you and tell you, "Hey man you got some sh*t on your face! Get the f*ck away from me."

 

Oh God it's gonna be one of those isn't it?

 

Let me explain. If the first thing I notice about you is that you're going full on Mr. Hanky on your face like it's Mike Tyson's eye tattoo chances are good I'm not going to give you the time of day. When you talk to me you might get some of it one me. I don't need that. It's gross and I'm fairly certain a health hazard. This is just how I feel. Maybe you're different. But that's sort of how I feel when I see Spiritual Healing being the first track on a compilation. There is not a track in the history of goa that I hate more than that one.

You gotta bury that near the end of the compilation. Put that with the preachy b*tch on the Z to A track. God that one was annoying. You might ask how you could put up with someone like that.

Ok so now that those two tracks are out of the way what've we got? I see Land of Freedom is remixed, but it sounds like it got the full-on treatment the way those Astral tracks did on the album of whose name we do not speak. There are a couple of tracks that aren't great, but aren't bad either (The Fly, Labyrinth of Color). Ubar Tmar does his usual weird sh*t and if you're a fan of that blah blah blah.

 

The best ones for me were Yemaya (Elysium Project Vs. Worm) and the Koxbox remix of Feel The Universe by Juno Reactor. The former was thumping good tribal goa and the latter was very psychedelic. Sunset Skyline upped the ante as it went along so props to Boris for that. Bet that guy wishes he had a time machine. So two really good tracks out of 9?

 

Yeah I don't know if I'm gonna trust this trance.
