Review:

I'm happy to start the reviews off on this sleeper-pick masterpiece. The

earlier Tegma releases didn't do anything special for me, but they have gone

into some undisclosed lair to tweak this big one to within an inch of its

life. The production quality is excellent here, and they bring back some of

the just-under-control snarling chaotic element that makes psy interesting for

me. Funkboom is a gem. Refractor and Moelleswinger are very good too. I'm

not keen on the retro-80s elements in Flash Dance, but there is enough really,

really good work here to justify the cost. 8/10 from me.

VERY interesting. I'm listening to this for the 2nd time right now. First

time I kind of skipped around, and listened on a lo quality system. Didn't

really like it.

Now I've smoked up, and I'm on a bit better sound system. I'm up to 'Skyline'

(T4) right now. Not sure if I like it...this is definitely something

different...innovative? Lots of non-psy influences. House rhythms abound.

Some buried Latin influences, via house. A bit repetitive at times. Skyline

is a lil’ more psychedelic, to me. Seems to have wandered kind of aimlessly.

But, still, its something new.

Wow! Funkboo (T5) is quite energetic! And it has plenty of psy sounds in the

air! Some Son Kitian percussion. Let’s see where it goes….

Being objective: T6, okay, but not my cup of tea. Sofa Beats (T7), very

hypnotic. Starts a little darker then the rest. More reminiscnent of our own

hypnotic minimal psy. Howling wolf. Becoming more positive towards the end.

Our wolf friend joining us more often. I'm ready for some change, but it

doesn't come. T8, many of these tracks also have big influence from

Progressive non-psy trance. T9 My non-existant god, these people have not

hesitated to pull influence from any Pariah which this scene may or may not

have! Whether it is a good thing, or not, is totally up to you!

Ever since the Werewolf 12", I knew these guys would be something special, and

this album only adds to this opinion. Favorites for me are Skyline (what an

awesome last 3 minutes), Moelleswinger, Refraktor and Sofa Beats, but every

song gets better every time I listen to it. Great work guys! 9/10

Exelent, somewhere between Son Kite & Logic Bomb. Energetic psy-prog with a

very nice fresh sound. A very good album for anyone into trance whether it is

full on or progressive. 8.5/10

Spot on review from tomvcarter here. Son Kite meets Logic Bomb like. Still, the

Tegma guys sound like something special, and to me they truly are something

special! Werewolf is also a very cool track of theirs, as is Charus (Malmo

Remix). This album is in that vein, and delivers pumpers and groovers like

you'd expect from Tegma. Solid stuff, and like all releases from Digital

Structures sounds really crisp and clear. I'm happy I decided to buy this one.

9/10 here, bring it on! More releases like this guys!

This album kicks ass. I don't listen that much psy anymore. But I somehow came

across this album and I must say this one's a masterpiece. Very innovative

with fresh sounding sounds. Keep up the great job!! Skyline is perhaps one of

the best tracks I have heard since long time. Thank You!

Tegma is out with their new album on Digital Structures Records. For those of

you who don`t like progressive trance, look away? Tegma are Omar Chelly and

Jason Orfanidis. The first track is typical grogressive trance with a really

floating vibe. Trance you can relax to, or make you reach the trance state on

the the dance floor. Nice one if you like this kind of trance. For me it is

good enough if Im in the right mood, but I easily get bored with it. Track two

goes a bit faster. After a while you get a cool scary floating sound, which

makes the track really trancey. Track 3 goes the same direction, but with a

little more variation. It builds up and gets very pleasant for the dance

floor. Track 4 is not as good. A little boring in my ears. Track 5 is harder,

but not much variation. Track 6 is a little better with a pleasant relaxing

start, before the progressive rhythms starts rolling. This track reminds me

very much of progressive house. The differences becomes smaller and smaller.

Track 7 is really deep and trancey, with rolling progressive rhythms, echoes

and floating sound. In my ears, best track so far on the album. Track 8 goes a

bit faster. This track has some beautiful sounds. Really trancey track, but

not as good as track 7. The last track is really weird. Some kind of synth pop

from the 80`s? Funny finish. If you are really into progressive stuff like

Human Blue, Element etc, this sure is something for you.

What can I say? ABSOLUTLEY STUNNING! Does NOT irritate and disturb you like

psytrance often does, very nice "round" sounding beats. Very good production!!

I've never heard a single bad Tegma track, and I couldn't seem to find any on

this album either. Tracks 3 and 9 are killers ;)

Incredible piece of work here. I never got into earlier Tegma material, but

this album has me surprised and floored. The sound here has the general flow

of a lot of the Swedish progressive trance, however with a dark and simple

sense of melody inserted skillfully into the driving psychedelic backbone,

with a slight feel of progressive house on the rhythmic end. Put simply,

smooth, dark, driving, psychedelic, flowing, atmospheric, funky trance with

groove up to yer neck - perfect dancefloor material for peak nighttime hours.

High points: "Refraktor" (this one sends a chill down my spine) and "Encoded"

(nr. 1 & 8). The rest of the album is also extremely solid as well - no real

weak points. Fantastic job by both Tegma and the Digital Structures. Buy

this album so we'll hear more like this released! :) 9.5/10
