Few years ago, i watched The Cove documentary about the dolphin hunting in a cove of Taiji, a place in Japan. The footage taken by the activists is quite gruesome and shows the entrapment and the massacre of large groups of dolphins, these wounded beings' desperate efforts to escape. Also, the film uncovers the whole industry build upon the slaughter of these helpless beings, dolphins and whales too, two species with intelligence striving to survive in a modern hostile environment the late centuries. This (awards winning) film was shocking and made a good impact to the world for a long time, but also informed the unaware japanese people. Eventhough, there is a part in the japanese society and the media, as well as the japanese government, which is tolerant of this practise or even supportive, and new footages always show that the massacre hasn't stop. Also a similar practise takes place in the Faroe Islands, grindadrap. Around 800 pilot whales and some dolphins are killed annually. Some days ago, i saw a reference in television or in a newspaper about the germanic law's approach to sexual activity between humans and animals, known as bestiality or nowdays with the term "zoophilia". Inconceivable! How is it possible, in an advanced european country, bestiality to be tolerated by the law? Atleast until 2013 in Germany and some other european countries. As i said, it is unimaginable because except the ugliness of the image and the abnormality of the practice, it is a crime, an abuse, a violation of the animal's nature. Wikipedia's article contains also an index of some countries' legislation concerning "zoosexual" activity & pornography. There are still states partly or fully tolerant about this and "zoophiles" movements supporting this "practice" (wtf?). What is the legal status, worlwide, concerning this nowadays?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7ZBM8gAtlchttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZCsvbWzL1M Certainly, some of us have a pet animal in our home as a beloved companion, mostly a dog or a cat, or maybe a parrot or even a sober specie of monkey. Before many years, when i was a child and living in a house with a backyard, i noticed one day that i let a cat get in and join me inside the house, that was aware of the sound coming out of the music player, but was scary too and hostile towards it. I thought she doesn't like the music. Few years now that i live with a cat, i see that is very accustomed to psytrance since a kitten. She can even sleep while the vibes spreading in the room. Well, the subject focuses on psytrance especially as a complex music but it is related with music as a phenomenon for the senses and the perception of the animals and its effect on them.
