  1. Artist: Blisswave Title: Manvantara Label: Melusine Records Release Date: July 3, 2019 1. Manvantara 2. Into The Abyss 3. Dance of Shiva 4. Portal to Shambala 5. Interstellar 6. Blisswave - Manvantara (Continuous Album Mix) Blisswave Is Michele Leonard, a multi instumentalist who has a nack for producing glorious sounds and soothing landscapes. Manvantara starts of off with some super ethereal energy that for a short moment turns ominous before light synths come in to let us know that is all ok and that's the first minute and a half. So many feelings. The broken beat kicks us off into a track that will travel us through all the feelings of the rest of the album in one go. ~ Into the Abyss - Call of The Ones takes us through our paces of emotions just like the first track, only it has more time to delve into the ether of lightly clouded strange planets that we slowly wade through in a sense of complete dreamlike relaxation. A beautifully made piece that quite literally fills you with peace. That or an impending anxiety of the unknown. For me it was pure bliss. Dance of Shiva - Comes in hot with eastern melodies and a beat designed to pull you ever so smoothly from the tranquil state the last track just put you in. So enjoyable that the sonic soundscapes rush by you and the track is over before you know it. Portal to Shambala - Comes in off the back of Dance to Shiva seamlessly. A continuation of beats and rhythms that are 2 parts beautiful and 1 part shambalic vibrations. Interstellar - angelic and soft this track is everything it says it is. A trip into the warm and self-assuring parts of the atmos, where Oxytocin flows from your synapses with ease. Continuous Album Mix - What you are going to push play on if you have 3/4 of an hour up your sleeve and a whole lot of chillin' on the calender. ~ Blisswave has created a floating, dreamy & at times groovy extraordinaire. The first song really gives you a glimpse of what is to come so check it out to see if it's your cup of Chai Matcha. At the very least this is dream inducing morning symphony, at the most it's a deep, thoughtful & carefully curated group of tracks that are both fun and relaxing. https://melusinerecords.bandcamp.com/album/manvantara-24bits
  2. [ Artist: E-Mantra Title: Serenity Ep Label: Melusine Records Date: October, 2018 1. Serenity 2. Serenity II 3. Balada Haiducului 4. Shadows Picture of a forest. Scary font for artist name. Dude...did you just make a darkpsy/forest ep? Narrator Morgan Freeman: Although capable of many things a darkpsy album to this date has not been attempted. Thank...you narrator Morgan Freeman. Nope this is a brief downtempo ep released by his own label even though everything screams forest music. Actually according to the blurb it was created in a remote cabin deep in the Romanian forest. Sure nothing scary about that sentence whatsoever. Serenity brings his tell tale drifting melodies over top of head nodding beats. Smooth. Part II picks up the pace, but was less introspective. Balada is a slow trudge with a melancholy presence but easily my favorite. Shadows as the name implies is the darkest track yet and I don't know how he completed it while in that Romanian forest. Hope he worked in the daytime. Playing this at night in the forest is some Evil Dead sh*t. All in all nothing earth shattering, but good, consistent, E-mantra downtempo goodness. 3. Title: VA - Elan Vital compiled by CromoNova Label: Melusine Records Date: 1st of November 2018 Format : Digital only Tracklist: 1. Travma - Son Nefes 07:48 2. Median Project - Shuttle 08:16 3. E-Mantra - Xibalba (Eleusyn remix) 07:53 4. Nostromosis - My Inspiration 08:18 5. InnerSelf - Circle Of Dreams 07:29 6. Via'on - I don't Like Goa 09:09 7. Astrancer - Koilon (Remix) 10:06 8. Lunar Transformers - Lunar Transformers 09:15 9. Adam Shiva - Ergot Pulsing 06:04 10. Proxeeus - Me, myself, and a Gnop-keh 09:46 11. The Maniac - Prayers Of The Night 08:56 Elan Vital (Romanian) roughly describes the rush we feel when suddenly overwhelmed with positive energy, a spontaneous burst of uplifting joy, the state of being once overly excited. It is what I resonate with and each track was carefully selected to reflect that. https://melusinerecords.bandcamp.com/album/elan-vital-24bits Audio Mastering by Zsolt Peter (Artifact303) www.facebook.com/Artifact303/ Cover art by Aleksandar Zlateski www.facebook.com/Aleksandar.Kenzo.Zlateski
  4. Artist: E-mantra Title: Compendium Vol. 1 Label: Melusine Records Date: April, 2017 1. Above the Skies 2017 (Live Version) 2. Approaching Nibiru (2017 Version) 3. Dansul Ielelor (2012 Version) 4. Dark Corners of the Universe (2017 Version) 5. Distant Signals (Rmx 2017 Version) 6. Leviathan 7. Pathfinder (2017 Version) 8. Telluric Waves (2017 Version) While the new guns currently dazzle us with their electronic wizardry we must never forget that a beast of the genre still lurks in the ether. Mr. Carpus has proven himself to be a master of goa trance time and again with 4 albums of blissful and transcendent goa as well as four downtempo chillers. The man is a legend any way you slice it. His style is hypnotic, melodic, and steeped in eerie layers. This digital only release (I hear tale that a CD is in the works) is comprised of previous tracks that have been re-edited and remastered as a thank you to the fans. And it is all that you think it is. Ripping 303's, lush melodies that slowly appear and then drift off into the cosmos, and shifting focus with seamless details. It's darkly mysterious, mystical, and layer heavy. Personally I don't have the time to compare each track with the original, but what I can tell you is that it is a great goa album that fits in nicely with his previous releases. He doesn't take any chances, but does what he does best. If you're a fan of his style then this is a must have. Melusine Records Bandcamp
  5. Artist: Various Title: Ascending Label: Melusine Records Date: December, 2016 1. Lauge - For Evigt Og Altid 2. Logical Elements - Flower Nebula (Original Mix) 3. Olexa - Miss Spring 4. Ancient Core - Caracatitza Cuantica din Oceanul Mecanic 5. E-Mantra - Ascending (Live Version) 6. Lifebloom - Rest In Self 7. Reasonandu - Immerse 8. Metamorphosis & The Adaptive - The Long Way Home 9. Cabeiri - Uranus' Seed 10. E-Mantra - Daydream (Dense Mix) 11. Saranankara - Awakening 12. Jaraluca - Spiritual Transformation 13. Ascent & Argus - One Day In India This digital release (24 bits) is from the label started by E-mantra and Reasonandu. It's a charity release with all the profits going towards underprivileged and abandoned children in Constanta. I won't pretend to know where that is, but doing good is universal. This is a long release at over 100 minutes and it contains quite the variety of music. A few mentions...All of the tracks have a good amount of depth in them and I didn't find one that was subpar. I'm not one for beatless ambient unless it's time for night night, but you get a couple of tracks of that here. Flower Nebula is a gentle and silky smooth progressive track that screams sunshine and the promise of a hopeful future. E-mantra has a couple of really good tracks here and they flow in the same vein as his downtempo releases. The music varies from utterly relaxing to strong, beat oriented downtempo with tribal touches. For example a track like Uranus' Seed has all of the above. While Awakening wasn't anything special, the middle break hit me just right. Shame it was so short. The fastest track belongs to Jaraluca and it is unapologeticaly goa. Mid tempo swagger stuff. And lastly if you like female Indian vocals than the closing track is your holy grail set amongst a head nodding beat. All in all a very good quality release and for a good cause. Recommended! 6. Artist: E-Mantra Title: Signals EP Label: Melusine Records Date: March, 2016 1. Moon Horns (Re-Edit) 2. Ectoplasm (Re-Edit) 3. Liquid Frequencies (Re-Edit) If you follow goa trance, you know who Emmanuel Carpus is. E-Mantra has been king of the goa trance mountain for a long time. Rumor has it that he is ready to abdicate the throne and move on to other projects. Sad as that may be he has left quite the legacy behind him. From goa trance to downtempo music his sound is unmistakable. Originally released in 2008, he has splashed a new coat of paint on these beauties. The promo actually says, "crafted in a new vision." Don't know if that means new melodies or mastering, but what I can tell you is that the result is distinctly him. The music is floating stairs of melody as they gently carry you to a blissful place. Long and drawn out which submerges the listener into a deeper state of trance. The tracks are the same with the exception of the final one, Liquid Frequencies. Well worth putting into your E-mantra collection. Melusine Bandcamp
