  1. Artist: Various Title: Work It Out Label: Digital Distortion Records Date: December, 2006 1. Dark Nebula - Time To Burn 2. Technodrome - Stargazer 3. Binary - Headbang 4. Psyboriginal - Mellow Ohm 5. Stomp - The Crescendo 6. Tickets - Good Morning To Music 7. Killer Buds Vs. Energetic - System Action 8. Brethren - Arcane 9. Stomp - Chronicles Of Wafisha Yeah, this just isn't working out. It's not you...it's me. Ok, and you. I just, I just don't have the time nor the energy anymore. And if I'm being honest I don't like your appearance. I realize that may be shallow, but when I first met you you were bright and eye catching. The face you show the world now just looks thrown together with barely any effort. You'll never change. Full-on and stops and starts, it's what you do. Who you are. But it's 2016 now and you no longer have what I need. Everytime I listen to you I'm struck by your lack of depth. I've outgrown you. But hey, cheer up you'll move on and find a younger, less jaded audience. Someone who thrives on prominent bass lines and been there done that structure. With such low expectations you're bound to find someone new. I'll always care about you, but I need to spread my wings. Best of luck. Psyshop - That's the spirit. Put yourself out there!
  2. Artist: Tickets Title: Timelapse Label: Timecode Date: December, 2006 1. Power of Fear 2. Battery 3. Deficit Disorder 4. Existence 5. Showtime 6. The Funkus 7. Tinnitus 8. Back of Your Mind (Remix) 9. Phantom (Remix) "What's your f*cking problem?" Let's start with paying $6800 for a bed and not being able to sleep through the night. That'll make anyone a tad cranky don't you think? Sleep number? My sleep number is 4. As in 4 is the number of hours of uninterrupted sleep I seem to be able to string together. I could get that many on a Filipino transvestite hooker. Bah. Must have a lot on my mind. Money, getting adjusted to a new city and life. Isis. One thing thing that doesn't keep me up is Timecode (good God that is a terrible segue) and their commitment to quality psytrance. Tickets is Josef Summs and his debut album was a good one when it came out almost 8 years ago. It's since been surpassed in depth and chaos, but the powerful bass lines and strong kicks still sound good. True Timecode style with acid and dark atmospheres. While having lost a bit of it's luster it's still a strong release. Come get a digital punch in the face. Timecode Bandcamp Mdk
  3. Artist: Psilocybian Title: The Act of Conspiring EP Label: Diggarama Date: December, 2006 1. Theory To Conspire 2. When Fiction Becomes Science 3. Pancake Time (bonus) Somehow I came upon this and it's been sitting on my hard drive for months. Saša Dukić is a guy with the talent to make great psytrance tracks. He seems to be able to combine melody and power without any cheese, all while keeping it psychedelic. 2010's Wry Figments was an example of that. Nothing exemplary just good solid work. So I must've downloaded this after I heard his album, but who knows? My life is a jumble of Team Umizoomi and diaper changing so it's hard to tell. Even though this was made 5 years ago, it still sounds fresh. It's psy with some goa touches all well placed in some great alien atmosphere. Theory To Conspire has that outer space sheen on it with several synth layers and a nicely manipulated sample. When Fiction... shimmers with motion and shows he ain't afraid to use the cutoff knob. It's a high speed track to be sure. Lastly comes the ever perplexing bonus track. Anybody who is anybody loves pancakes and if you say you don't you're a zombie. And damn if it doesn't sound like he put some zombies in there...along with a rampaging bass line and some chunky distorted synths. Not bad. Click Here, it's free! Mdk
