you just need a lot of different Indian music DVD's CD's!!
Try your local record shop to find something cheap!
-
export of track is easier off course, but maybe he wanted to do it the other way
-
okay lets see if i got it right.
you can record a record external hardware synth on an audiotrack, but you cant record midi? did you set up midi correct? (the cables)
or do you mean you want to record the audio of your vst's ??
if thats the prob, you need to connect your soundcards output directly back to the input
-
Maybe you should spend some money on upgrading your pc first, but thats up to you off course.
go for a motu soundcard or maybe the rme fireface?
presonus also have a new racksoundcard, its called something with "fire" too.
you could also look at the Tascam fw-1884

dead link

doesnt work here either

The best site i know is danish www.musikplaneten.dk with unlimited space + real nice reviews, but it also has a english sister site called www.danish-techno.com but it will only show the 20 latest tracks :-(

go to (in cubase) devices>setup>multitrack and see what your latencies are

hmmm maybe i should buy 2 of them instead of the xeons.....what did one cost, & what does a motherboard with 2 cpu sockets cost?
-
i think the beat & bass is too nondominating.
you have a stab somwhere in the start that is way too loud.
like xiphiaz i dont like the 3:16 to 3:56 melody but otherwise its ok.
-
hi, your link doesnt work
-
-
serious, im surprised you can even load up sonar with that tiny processor.
serious, get a new one
-
i wont say that u cant make music with FL, but serious, check cubase, logic or some other advanced sequencer out.
The possibilities are much greater in these applications, but the price is large
Consider if its just a part-time hobby or a lifestyle! for me its a lifestyle, so i spend all my money on nice gear until i feel like i have the "full pack" (off course new products enter the market every day, so that will probably never happen ), but i love it.
anyhow, if FL studio is enough for you, then go for it with that

Hi I'm new and I was hoping that some one could give me some pointers when it comes to making music
iO.dmusic.com and download a trip to Io
Peace and light 3õ
Hi, & welcome
What soft/hardware do you use??
-
i just use eq, cant say much more than that
-
youre welcome, just ask if you get lost
EDIT: ps, when you get settled in cubase & startmaking nice psy, then let us hear
-
yes it must be your driver. V-station works fine for a friend of mine.
-
If you have cubase installed you should see some .pdf files in the program folder.
there should be one called "getting started tutorial"
if not - then try and search on google.
It is very simple, there is few things thats nice to know when you check it out the first couple of times.
i'll try to give you a quickstarter her:
1. open cubase
if you did not set up your audio driver, then do it now.
go the devices>vst-multitrack & if you not have a good soundcard (for music production) choose Full duplex driver for know (change when (if) you buy a good soundcard)
2. go to files the choose new project.
3. use an empty template
4. okay now you have a open project. right click on the vertical bar & choose new midi-track
5. press F11 (this is your vst-instruments) choose a synth (it will open but close it for now)
6. at the midi track click on out and select the name of the vst you just opened.
7. if you have a midi keyboard, you can play your synth now, if not choose the pencil-tool and draw a box in the midi track, then doubleclick the box youve just drawed. now you can draw a midi pattern.
i hope i wrote clear enough, if theres something you didnt understand then just ask
-
you could just download it on some p2p application, but remember cracked software causes breakdowns. i would buy.
I would love to hear how your music sounds, if you want to then send it to me, maybe i can give you some advice, but im not an expert in mastering.
