Planet B.E.N. - Ant Invasion
I feel this deserves a topic of it's own... Ant Invasion is by far one of the most visual tracks ever! I can almost see the ants marching forth to the beat of ant war-drums and later some sort of blowing instrument, all so very insectiodically hostile.
Too bad the rest of the stuff on Trippy Future Garden isn't as good.
That track was a excellent track at that time, even if I prefer the tracks Welcome to the future, and above all the last one Trippy future garden, for their complexity, their entrancing side! But yes Ant Invasion is a mix between minimal and old school goa, the whole album is important, i think this is the album which converted me into more minimal psy.

I kinda like the In the nude album, but the names above like Koxbox The great unknown, Saiko-Pod Putures and options, Deamon tea recordings, Loopus in fabula, Reefer Decree, etc. are much more funky IMO : )
...and perhaps i can add this one : Oryx - Advanced retromodel (Iboga records, 2004), typically the Reefer Decree's basslines. Groovy if not funky.

I really dig this compilation, no boring track in it even if track 08 - Dendron - Supernatural jazz is not really my cup of tea, but when you are in the mood it's perfectly listenable,well well made anyway...
On the whole this comp is so original and surprising, typically the Loopus in fabula style i could listen to in their first album, funky and jazzy, with real instruments, flutes, guitars...and sometimes dark (05 - Praecox - Fraktalik penis), old school touch for the last track 10 - Sienis - Nifty fifty, and always those delicious basslines, funky and sometimes tehnoish (listen to track 06 - Kino oko - Czakrum and bocianum, amazing track, I dig that kickline and basslines! Technoish track). My fav remain the groovy tracks like track 02 - Antiscarp warriors - Invalead, and above all track 04 - Loopus in fabula - Casbah, please everyone listen to track 04 - Loopus in fabula - Casbah, i am addicted to it, simply that bassline, it totally works for me, so pleasant!
My rating : 8/10. Quality, and this is music believe me

I like this one a lot... It's definitily 100% old skool, but there a no different layers, to much waves or maximum meldodies... It's very smooth with perfect melodic psychedelic details... the tempo isn't that high and the mixes do beatmatch perfect... it's a release that has to be listen at a good soundsystem cause the little details make the concept... It's relaxing and happy and I love it over & over after a hard day of study
No dancefloor killers at all but homelistening at his best...
i was thinking about the same CD, above all the first part of the mix, track 1 Katayama rocks, 2 Ololiuqui, amazing at that time, 3, 4, 5...Malaka dance also, Alien pets...and some tracks are very weird like Alienated's one, Protect system, Lunar asylum... i rarely heard tracks like that

My opinion about Wizzy noise, Electro theather was quite good especially Demented drums part II, sounded a bit full on but not too much. Cyclotron was my fav of Wizzy noise, track 2 Radius...
Love it! Sounds tech trance, dark, really good basslines. Stereo eclectric is way too noisy for me, I even couldn't listen to it till the end, it was the opposite to Cyclotron, a complete disappointement...colours and tastes... -

Lucy in space with diamonds - [Emerald city] - 04 -Stars comes out at night, Emerald city is the album, released in 2003, the synths in it really remind me the Lepton head DEEDRAH remix! Enjoy!

Expose is one of the tracks that makes me buy my first goa trance CD i still dig Expose, Ashes to ashes was impressive too at that time, spectacular but a bit basic yea maybe...

There is an AMAZING track with a sound like cat meowing in the middle of the track.
The track is very hard but melodic and I first listened to it in 2000.
As I said in the middle of the track there is a sound similar to a cat meowing together with the melody,I don't think it's a real meowing but it sounds like this.
It has a climax in the last minutes which ends with an evil laugh

I've made this question some years ago and most people said about Tim Schuldt-
Red Hair Hospital.I thought that was the one cause it sounds a bit like Tim stuff.
You know hard kick,evil melodies etc. But it's not the one!

don't remember if there is a laugh in it but if i m not wrong SUN Project "Space dwarfs" got some weird synths that sound like a cat or something, but just a guess...just reading the title of the topic i immediatly thought of Shiva Chandra "torn cat" great great track, but off topic i know

seems strange that cd got 13 tracks as we know Shpongle make long tracks, The 6th revelation for example, or perhaps it's a 2CD albums, anyway never heard of it, sounds like a "Best of Shpongle" album...
