  1. I"m not going to argue about his work BUT he insulted many ppl with attitude and his statements but got off with nor warning or comment yet I get slammed? Really?

i'm also lastly going to say that just because a business has a limited market and a person running abusiness claims they are basically running it on charity donations, no profit etc. does not mean they have the right to treat the customer poorly. I again say that his positng in this thread means he has for sure lost me as a customer.

From his attitude he couldn't care less what I think so why do you get upset?

I take back anything that was to personal, but if this was a brick & mortar music shop and he spoke to ppl in person like he did on here when questioned about why his business was runing so poorly then it would be a completely different situation.

Sitting at a desk with a computer makes us all feel tough but I tell you seriously he would not behave like this to customers in reality, unlike his behavior on here.

It sucks because far to many online businesses get away with treating customers like dirt because they know we cannot come and deal with it in person. And as soon as we get uppity on f#ckbook, twitter or a forum the defenders delte our posts or threaten us for breaking their rules as well.

Customers last seems the future for many companies and it really is starting to suck.

Dude, seriously? The guy is trying his best, with something that, as far as I can tell, is a hobby (and probably a personal passion). A hobby that competes for time with a real job/income, a family, a new baby, etc.

Ok, so he made a mistake. He also explained why, and offered to fix it.

Carrying on like this is not a good look, trust me

  2. I think the album sounds wonderfoul! Please have a listen :)

I did, and I must say, I agree.

The problem is, every time I listen to etnica, I can't shake the feeling of sadness/disappointment that comes with knowing they are still around making music, but it will never go back to being the stuff that rocked my world so long ago.

I guess I've changed too though. A lot of those feelings are associated with memories/events/people of a different time. Maybe it's nostalgia that I'm feeling.

  3. I used to listen to goa very long ago. Its been so long i almost forgot how it sounded, but think i used to listen to some goa from a group called "Juno reactor"

reason i decided to listen to them was because of the name, since the best game ive ever played was Final Fantasy 7, and juno reactor is something in that game hehe

Haha, me too! Such an amazing game. It had a brilliant soundtrack too. Remember the epic choral song in the final battle with Sephiroth?

Nice work on you tracks too, btw.

  4. For one, I care about mastering, as do plenty of other people. For another, he didn't master Goapocalipsis himself, so the comment is irrelevant. And for a third, this thread is about his prospective business mixing and mastering other people's music, not his own.

Righto, I'll be more specific. I care MUCH MUCH more about more goapocalipsis than I do about supposedly poor mastering on a brilliant album that has probably changed many people's lives. Didn't mean to offend, by the way, I guess my enthusiasm got in the way of my social skills.

Regarding the relevance, I wasn't referring to him mastering Goapocalipsis. I listen to the album at least once a week, so I guess it's on my mind. Consider me reprimanded about making off-topic comments. 'cos that naughty stuff never happens on this forum...
