  4. Hi everyone! To all those going to Burning Man, you can hear us play live at Get Lost at 10:00 at Fate on Thursday night. We will most likely play from around 3ish to 5ish. Nothing is set in stone yet but definitely Thursday night. There will be much more psy there that night as well!! Hope to see some of you there! Peter/James (AnachroniD)
  5. Hi!! Thanks for your work Cosmic Flower!!! Unfortunatly, we must have had a mix up on our information. You have our Project as "Solipsistic Master" and the tracks as "6 1 06". Our project is really called "AnachroniD" and our track title is called "Solipsistic Drift". You must have gotten the info from the actual file we sent...not the email. Sorry about the mix up If you could change that ASAP we really appreciate it! Thanks again Cheers!
  6. Hi all!! I have a track uploaded to usendit and i thought you guys may like to hear it. The track is called "Solipsistic Drift". We use mostly Logic Audio, Ableton Live, a Virus TI, a Nord lead 3 and a bunch of vsts. We would really like to hear anything you have to say about it. The link is Here Cheers!
  7. I didnt even realize that there were different models of the V series out there. I double checked and i have the KRK V6-II. I dont have any experience with the genelecs so i cant really say anything there Cheers!
  8. Hi! We too have some tracks that we could offer you for your compilations. In fact we have recently decided to release on a few compilations rather than compile an entire album. You can hear our music at www.panjea.com/anachronid for anything you may be interested in. Just let us know. our email is anachronid@hotmail.com I hope i'm not too late... Cheers!!
  9. Yeah, so i am really happy with them up to this point. The tracks i mix on them (all of them) seem to sound good on a variety of sound systems of varying quality. I have been told this is a good way to tell how good a pair of monitors are. Before these we were using some old sony monitors and these were a HUGE improvement. Like night and day. When i bought them, i was able to do a side by side comparison with a variety of other brands. IMO they were the best sounding of the ones i listened to. I even listened to some much more expensive monitors (i remember some were event brand) and these seemed superior. Unfortunatly i didnt have any psytrance cds with me at the time so i couldn't do the comparison with psytrance. I hope this helps
  10. Seriously, Ableton is awewsome!!!! The thought of starting a track in Logic is scary. One problem i have found with ableton is that when i am rendering a bassline out from a vst synth (usually the Vanguard), the resulting render sounds slightly defferent each time. When i finish writing a track in ableton i import each rendered file into Logic for some finishing touches. This problem has forced me to save the vst settings and reload it into Logic and import the midi file from Ableton. While this isn't a huge hassle, it makes me loose faith in the fidelity of Ableton rendering capabilities. Has anyone else encountered any issues like this while rendering with ableton? Yeah i have the desktop version of the virus and am SOOOOOO happy with it. They recently released a more stable version of the Virus Control which I am beggining to use more. Up til now, i have just been using the hardware alone (w/o the virus control) and it ROCKS!!! Its gotta be one of the, if not the best virtual analog synthesizer out there!! Indeed the Moog filter emulator is awesome also!! We have a Mini Moog in our studio so we can do a side by side comparison and it is almost spot on. With our eyes closed we were hard pressed to tell the difference... Cheers!!
  11. CPU's: Mac Powerbook and Mac dual core tower Software: Ableton Live, Logic Audio, Native Instruments Komplete 3 package, Vanguard, Muon Tau Pro Hardware: Virus TI (which is AMAZING!!!!), Nord Lead 3, Mini Moog Voyager (though not too much), Novation X-Station 25, M-Audio Firewire Solo, KRK V6 monitors, Sony MDR-V900 headphones Cheers!
  12. I like working on music at night mostly, although the daytime is definitly not outta the question. I find my most creative/productive time in around 5-9am, after working on music throughout the whole previous night. There is something about the sunrise that sort of resparks the creative spirit inside me or something. Its like I know what I am supposed to do next, before i get a chance to think about it. Everything just flows.... Cheers!
  13. r8dnt1: Yeah, i know what you mean about the Little Phatty maybe not fitting into a goa setup very well. It looks like it retails for like $1500.00. If i were you i would save up a few hundred more dollars and buy the Virus TI. This is a piece of hardware that would definitly be woth the investment for a goa studio. My friend crashed my car, and with the insurance money, instead of fixing the damage to my car, i bought a Virus TI and never looked back. Now everytime I go out to my car i get to think of the Virus!!! Echo Void: Good ears!! Of all the tracks that were posted, this was out oldest one. We were still figuring out the proper way to do drums. Do you think that the drums in the other tracks sound okay? I'll have a go back and try fixing the drum line a little. Thanks for the specific feedback!! We really appreciate it! Cheers!
  14. Yo!! Thanks for listening!! You know, i think i am gonna have to agree with you about the Voyager and goa. I definitly would rather grab any of our other hardware or some vsts (vanguard, albino) before we go to the Moog. However, we do make some neat little accent fx's type sounds with it, and who can beat the filter on the Voyager! With that said, we hardly ever put a Voyager layer into our tracks without applying a bunch of fx to it. The Voyager belongs to my friend who i make the music with, and he uses it mostly for his psychedelic electronic rock project.
