    Hi all...

    Jesus, calm down sociopaths!
  8. Ishq - Orchid and Halluci - In Dub
  9. Don't get a Triton, it's very un-psy... I have a Virus KC and I love it...quite a beast. Virus, Nord Lead, Supernova...all pretty good synths, just go to a music store to check em out. Between Sam Ash and Guitar Center (assuming you're in America) they had all of those and more. Those are pretty expensive though, although I'd say worth it for sure.
  10. Anyone have some good tips on creating good clear (not muddy, as in you can hear what note it is very well as compared to say a half or whole step down) bass sound? I have an access virus if that helps with your tips at all... Most particularly though: what are some good rules for filter settings and what's a generally good wave form to use? I've goofed around with it for awhile but it always comes out sounding muddy...also, I don't want a very squelchy sound but a more "real" sounding bass tone.
  11. Manitu? Just happened to be listening to Skazi vs. Manitu - Survive the trip. I seem to enjoy anything with Manitu in it though.
  12. Stupid question No offense though! Same as: "If you were trapped on an island and could only have three cd's what would you choose?" Totally impractictal, although I get the point It's just a silly one heh. Regardless, my favorite song of the moment: Astrix & Alien Project - We have Ice Crystals
  13. Haha good stuff I agree with Anton though...just plain dumb to compare them really. Comparing guitars and violins or apples and oranges or weed and shroomies. Just plain ol' pointless methinks.

    Saiko-pod

    lol thanks raider!
  15. I think its not quite as good as everyone says Although very good for certain! The basslines seem too much at times for me though.
  16. Anyone know of some groups similar to Saiko-pod? I dig that "funky" sorta sound.
  17. Agh...say you think they suck! You THINK, it sounds more intelligent!!! I think the lyrics are definitely stupid but I like the sound of the singing.
  18. I think the vocals are cool...be strange hearing this stuff at a party though.
  19. Oops! I did mean line out Thanks for the replies. I will go look up some schematics Sounds like an intelligent thing to do...
  20. Hey Pzyko, I wanna hear some fruity loops Goa! I too use fruity loops, just curious to hear some samples of music I actually like made with it. loraksknight@yahoo.com / AIM=loraksknight
  21. Hope I don't sound like a retard (even though I may as well be...) but I really know very little about how home studios work. Anyway, I just wanted to know how exactly using synths with computers works... Say I'm creatin a song...and I wanna use a sound from a synth (Virus Access for instance, or some other virtual analog), how does this work exactly? Do you line-in and record the sound and sample it? Does this work in real time? How does the setup work? Do you have MIDI coming out from the PC to the synth, then line-in from the synth to PC? As you see I'm pretty clueless! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, if I were to use a true analog, how would you go about using that with a PC? Would I have to play a line or something and then record it into a sequencer rather than having the sequencer play notes? Agh... Thanks
