What does he think I'm laughing "at" X-Dream. What kind of twisted ass bull shit is that?! Maybe if I said Pop sucked, I'd be a cock sucker, but I didn't, and I sure as hell don't duck cock. X-Dream ROCKS! READ MY X-DREAM-radio review. This is some dark, powerful stuff. Tracks 2 and 4 are absolutly awesome! Track 1 is very powerful, those voices are wicked cool! Enough said.

My favorite Electric Universe if I had to pick one, and the best EU album next to Stardriver IMO. I love the risks Boris took with exception to two songs (2, 6) that leave much to be desired. The artist clearly knows what's catchy so I'm not sure why he'd allow two weak songs to be on an otherwise stellar album. Great album overall! If you weren't sure what you thought of this back in the day, give it another listen. It may sound different to you as is sometimes (often) the case with music (with more elements) like this.

By the way, on that last line in my above review, I meant that Bible of Dreams will never have the audience that Beyond the Infinite had. Juno Reactor on the other hand, does have respect to date, especially after the very unexpected release of Shango. I just wish that Bible of Dreams was better, cause their other albums kick serious ass.

I havn't heard this whole album yet, but the first three tracks are really good. From what I've heard, this is some really great psychedelic dance stuff! Now, where can I buy this...

All I have to say is, Encrusted Filth! What a HOT TRACK! Okay.....I never described a track as being "hot" before but this thing is HOT! Pure dance, powerful, adrenaline charged, night Goa! Oh my GOD, this is Platinum! Without a doubt the best track on this whole entire album. Some other tracks are a real work of art too. It may take some time to see Double Dragons mature, intricate, and intelligent creation. If you have, you know exactly what I mean. For those who havn't, you shall, and for those who are deaf, I'll pray for you.

Alright, I listed and "felt" this album more carefully. This is truly magnificant! No BS. This is very deep and beautiful. This is NOT dub-atmosphere-slow-minimal-bull shit. This is really cool, beautiful sounding, with excellent rhythm that really moves you. The reason people compare this to Shpongle is because both Asura and Shpongle are at the highest level of this type of music. Shpongle might be better for tripping, and Shpongle has some awesome tracks regardless, but I can not compare this with Shpongle as if one is better than the other. They are both totally different. They are both totally original. Enough said. Asura gives us seven tracks, but seven excellent and/or awesome tracks. You can really tell they put alot of time in and didn't just take an idea and loop it this way and that. I don't reccomend you sample these on MP3'S, cause mp3's are compressed. As you know most compression loses some or alot of quality, hence ruining the music. I trusted my instinct and bought this without hesitaion and it is worth it. Seven tracks? I'll take quality over quantity anyday. This is some awesome stuff that deserves to be in every ambient/chill/trance lovers collection, period.

Allah Acbar and both Sativa tracks are amazing. If I heard those tracks for the first time today, I'd think they were new. Allah Acbar is one of the greatest Goa tracks of all time, especially for it's time! Other tracks are too simple sounding for me, but I would have died to hear this 8-10 years ago. This is a classic album, even though it is dated, hence the word classic...

Teleport is outstanding!!! Awesome sound/melody work, beautiful, yet somewhat simple, I love it!!! Teleport, next to Lunar Cycle are the best two singles from MWNN IMO (as of writing this). I was NOT impressed with Eat Static (RMX). After hearing the first track, this sounds weak... Sure it has some really cool psychedelics, but it does not captivate me like Teleport. Lunar Cycle is excellent! It has some awesome tunes which evolve into some very catchy powerful layers. Sounds so nicely combined, a concept so intelligently executed. Three Drives RMX is pretty cool, more traveling, uplifting, melodic. I never heard the original so I can't compare. Neuro Tunnel is OK, not impressed but not bad. Infernal Machine: Lion King RMX much better! This track comes to life somewhere in the middle. Sly Ed is also pretty good, but is too short! Jack In The Box is really good. I like this over Sly Ed, as it has more depth of sounds and rhythm. Teleport Stripped is a kick ass RMX of Track 1. Some people love this over the original and vice-versa. This track is NOT better than the original, not for me (and many others) at least! All in all, some tracks are awesome. Some are very good / great. Others are decent. Good album!

I just got this album today for 25 bucks, I don't get it. Track 1 and 2 are very melodic and cool, but the rest of the album is reptitive and soft and at times annoying. I think "X-Dream-Radio" is brilliant, and I realize Trip to trace...is their first album and should not be their best. Regardless, this is not good. I bought this because many people said, "the best X-Dream album," and "Genious," and "brilliant." The only thing great about this album is that it started the coming of their other albums.

I listened very carefully to this album. This is what I believe is most accurate about this album. Okay, 1.)Jardin De Cecile-is nice, melodic, good rhythm. Pretty cool, more so at night of course. 2.)Conga Fury-I don't care for this, even though it has some pretty unexpected, cool parts in it. The voice gets annoying, and although the beats, and other sounds are good, this track all around is not. 3.)God Is God-The good thing about this is the powerful drums and rhythm. The problem is that the voices seem more mechanical than natural. Too mechanical, as if they were put here for a purpose other than to be original, in the sence, commercial. Unfortunatly, this is the most commercial track I have ever heard from Juno Reactor. The harsh voice of the guy really hurts this track. However, many people like commercial stuff, and/or the beat so they will find this very good. 4.)Komit-I don't understand the concept here. Is there none? Cool, squeaky acid sounds, but thats it. This track is over 8:00 of repetitive beats with some twisted sounds. 5.)Swamp Thing-This track reminds me of the last, in the sence it goes nowhere, accomplishing nothing, except the extent of bothering the listener. It is also much worse than Komit. 6.)Kaguya Hime-A hell of a lot better then tracks 4 and 5. Cool, little tingly sounds, cool whispering voices, pretty (yet dark) other sounds, and a really great pounding symbal that mixes with one of the drums. This continuously evolves from decent to good and grat. A very interesting, unpredictable track. 7.)Children Of The Night-This is a VERY DARK TRACK! It does remind me of X-Dream-Radio a little, however it remains original. This is some dark, evil stuff. Crisp, sharp sounds, errie build up. Great track. 8.)Shark-Another track that............doesn't do anything again. It's like, we hear two good tracks, (KH, COTN) and then it's back to being repetitive and boring again. This track ruins any last chance to revive of this album, as if tracks 4 and 5 were not bad enough. 9.)High Energy Protons (Orion Mix): Great mix of the original found on Transmissions. Very well done. In conclusion, while there are indeed some very good tracks on Bible Of Dreams, this is the least worth owning of the four JR albums to date. Beyond The Infinite was made about three years after Transmissions....Bible Of Dreams was released only about a year after Beyond The Infinite, HENCE this album seems to have been rushed, or worked on with less time, and or ambition. B.T.I. sold really well, and people wanted another JR album, so it was quickly made and here it is. You can tell which tracks took more time to make, as they are alot deeper, melodic, and intelligent sounding. It would have been better to simply release this album without tracks 5 and 8, but whats done is done. Some tracks are so bad that I could not keep this album.(read my other JR reviews) Juno Reactor is very talented, and whether (compared to their other albums) you like this album the most, somewhere in the middle, or the least, they will never have the audience and respect that was given when B.T.I. was released.

In comparison to Juno Reactors other albums, (read my other JR reviews) this is very different and more mature in style then before. It feels as if each track was made for a different country, as their are African, Chinese, Indian, and many other forign, influencial sounds in most tracks. This album is much more interesting than Bible of Dreams in my opinion. I don't know why so many people put down Masters Of The Universe. That song is absolutly awesome, only played loud, only at night. Here's the review...1.)Pistolero is excellent! Sounds really Spanish and/or Mexican. Lots of uplifting melody and energy. It's not my type of style trance, but I love it nonetheless. 2.)Hule Lam is the only track that is a little to much for me. This must sound great to people in Africa or India, with it's tribal drums, and vocals. However, it sounds too mixed with tribal sounds and beats and vocals to really get into. Also, it's 4:00 short!??? 3.)Insects gradually builds up into a really cool and stylish aray of sounds and dark rhythm. Great track. 4.)Badimo is also good, but the evil voice gets alittle annoying after awhile. 5.) Masters of the Universe.......is awesome. It's nowhere near as commercial sounding as "God is God" on Bible Of Dreams. The voice in Masters... is very hypnotic and really cool. That song seems to wash away all the worries when listening to it. Tracks (6+7.)Both Nitrogen tracks are totally different from eachother, as one is soft, the other more hard. There both pretty cool, but nothing that awesome. However, I'm sure that one or both will grow on me. 7.)Solaris is awesome! Very melodic, with increasingly beautiful notes, blending into one very far out, interesting track. 8.)Song For Ancestors is brilliant! Beautiful, very dreamy, uplifting sound and voices, extremely melodic, and deep rhythm. You will be floating from the sky, from another world after hearing this. Lastly, this album is worth owning even if you don't connect with it at first. The time and work put into this really shows. Seriously, there is so much crap out there. This is one of those albums where alot of thinking seemed to go into. I relate thinking to the editing, production, and concepts for each of these tracks, even if it's not your style. Juno Reactor makes yet another very unique and different album than the one before it. It's Juno Reactors style alright, and it is excellent.

Elixir-great way to start off this album. That part that feels like a rocket flying by your head. You know...super cool. Wizzy Noise, something very special here. Some super dark, really deep bass, darK stuff. Some tracks are not that good, but the ones that are really kick ass.

This album I just bought, yes, you can all laugh at me. I know, it's been almost ten years!!! I just fucken heard it for the first time the other day. Okay, this is the truth of what I think of it. I am amazed that this was made in 1993. I was listening to other shit in 93, I thought to be great back than. I can't believe how ahead of it's time, this album was. 1.)High Energy Protons is great! 2.)The Heavens is really cool and melodic. 3.)Luna-tic flat out rocks! 4.)Contact is cool. 5.)Acid Moon I do not care for, as it seems to go no where. 6.)10,000 miles is really good. 7.)Laughing Gas is pretty cool, but not as good as 8.)Man To Ray. 9.)Landing starts slow and becomes beautiful. Back then, Juno Reactor had to be 100% original, cause Infected Mushroom, Hallucinogen, AP, MFG, etc, were not known! I know you all know this, but they did this all from zero-commercial influence. Respect to them! Now days, you don't know who is copying from who. Juno Reactor remains original and different to date. Great album, GOA or NOT.

Lord have mercy! Guardian Angel is fucking awesome! I love that track so much. It's so powerful and energic and crazy! Listen to this at night, really loud! The voices make me go insane..." If you want anything, anything at all...I am your Guardian Angel." Ahhhhhahahaha, I love it! Wow. Magnetic is a very good track. I like how it gradually builds from ambient into a, solid and danceable piece of work. I've heard, Feel the Universe over twenty times and I still like it. Ice Cube is very cool. Silver is excellent. There are no bad tracks on this album. Some tracks are decent or good at the least, but for the most part, this album rocks! Juno Reactor's style has always been very different and unique, as opposed to your typical psytrance. I don't know how I would classify this style of music, other then to say a very cool, unique, melodic (sometimes dark) techno/trance that gets pretty psychedelic at times. This album is much more powerful and adrenaline pumping then their previous albums, although JR-Shango has some powerful tracks as well. Beyond the Infinite is my favorite of their four albums to date. I can understand if someone does not like this style. It is not very different and there is more dialogue (silver) than on your usual Psy influenced cd. 8.9 out of 10.

When I first got this cd, I pretty much thought it was the least best of the four Astral Projection cds. The only 2 tracks that caught my attension was Nilaya and Trance Dance. After not listening to this cd for almost a year, I just put it my sterio a couple weeks ago and the brilliance of this cd hit me!!! Nilaya isn't great, it's beautiful genious. Another World is really great. Visions of Nasca is Excellent. Searching For U.F.O.'s is reeeally awesome! Tryptomine Dream is super cool. Trance Dance is banging, and I do mean BANGING! Mahadeva '99 is...well, still one great dance track, as is most of the tracks on this album. Aqua Line Spirit is pretty cool, but you already know that the best on this album has come and gone. The last track is soft and unique. In the end, I do like AP's Dancing Galaxy over over this. Dancing Galaxy is deeper and more visual. But some people will agree that there is more of a varity in the types of tracks on this album. Dancing Galaxy is more like a 79:58 minute trip through the Cosmos. You don't have to listen to this album straight through to really love it. Actually, some people don't listen to Dancing Galaxy straight through, but you know what I mean. Regardless =9 out of 10 for this album! I truly hope that Astral Projection makes a fifth complete album, with all NEW tracks. TO ASTRAL PROJECTION: "Please STOP re-releasing stuff, such as, In the Mix, which only had 4 new tracks on it?! Thats all for now. Peace, solong, and good night."

Tweaked / Updated in 2019. Floor Essence (Dayglo Mix) is a super dance track merging house/trance influence with Goa. By some miracle of God, it works. I love it. Sugar Rush has a memorable tunel. Azymuth is interesting, engaging, different, an ambient influenced Goa track in the middle of the album. I like it... a lot. I used to find it too slow and drawn out. There are some nice moments here and there. This is a very retro. ,nostalgic Goa album. Some tracks work better than others. Some songs or parts of them lose my interest. A solid debut, a bit dated at times but also so awesome when you hear what holds up decades (yes decades, updating this in 2019) years later. Martin's follow up album (sequel) to this one, Earth Moving the Sun is his overall best album to date IMO.

I agree with the reviewer above. Possessed and Own the World smash ass. Everything else is whatever, making this album NOT GOOD. It's much better then his first album, but thats expected. This should be great. It isn't. And might I add that if he is gonna sing, can't we at least hear what he is saying??? That track would have been awesome if he just kept his mouth shut. It ruins the whole visual mood. I can not imagine because his voice distracts me. You don't sing in goa trance, original or not! Would you jump off of a four story building if you new you might live, just to be original??? Well Martin lived, but this album crashed.

2018 Edit *Update* -- I didn't like this album either when I first heard it. I had heard Project Genesis first, and initially thought that was their second album, so I was expecting something darker at the time. Not that this album isn't dark. I recall feeling that the KICK DRUM was more prominent to the point the synths were slightly less further away than I desired, then they were in The Prophecy and Project Genesis. Long story short, I do NOT agree with what I wrote in 2001. That's how I felt at the time, and so I-- get this... set the album aside for YEARS TO COME, never giving it a second listen... FOR YEARS. Fast forward several decades. Holy crap time flies. This album is FANTASTIC. Not every song's an A but the album is SUPERB. Interesting how perspectives change over time. I eat less meat, dairy, and gluten (wheat), cut out all unhealthy meaning outside of Chipotle fast food (since 2003) and soda. I would have never been open to those changes before the time my mind processed shifting over to the changes. Nor did I think New Kind of World was even THAT good. Wow was I wrong. This is one of the best electronic albums ever made and MFG... thank you guys so much for this imaginative, ultimately positive, mind-expanding music you showered upon us over the 90's. My original comment in 2001-- .................. I love most of MFG's stuff, but this seems to be nothing interesting. I don't know, maybe it will grow on me. Track 5 on all of there other cds have been incredible, like Illumination, Why?, and Feel like God, but track 5 on this cd, The Waking Mind is not that great. MFG usually builds up there tracks to the middle, where their songs usually maxout with amazing depth and potential. I don't see that here. No track is amazing on this cd. It has the usual MFG style sound that I remember in The Profecy, but I find The Profecy much better. This could be the reason why their music has become more dark. I like their darker stuff much more. This is nice goatrance, but thats the only thing I feel. Both that and somewhat bored. Hopefully it will grow on me more, but the first time I heard Why? on Project Genisis, Illumination on The Prophecy, and Feel like God on The messege, I did get it the first time. I don't really get anything here, except that MFG wanted to make a nice cd aimed directly for the dance floor. Not bad, but nothing amazing. Face it, MFG can do amazing. This is not. But if you really like MFG, you may find this cd great.

It's not right to compare Astral Projection with Yahel. AP is totally seperate from this, Israel or not. I classify this as progressive, psychedelic, club trance. Tracks 2, 8, 9, and 10 are all awesome! Track 4: Sun Scream, is amazing! This album is excellent for both listening to and the dance floor. This guy is very talented. Just listen to the melody and the climax breaks throughout just about every track! This is awesome trance and it's really uplifting.

Look, if you like MFG, you'll like this cd. However, they didn't seem to use many new idea's, like in Project Genisis and New Kind Of World. I realize every track is a new idea, thats not what I'm saying. How each track evolves is what I'm talking about. Some tracks, such as Have A Nice Day and Brainwaves, seem too simple. Sure, it's fine on the dance floor, but MFG has always made stuff thats great for 'listening' to as well. It feels like much more effort was put into the middle tracks. I wouldn't say this is their best cd. It leans toward darker sounds, which makes it feel somewhat repetitive at times. Still, it sounds different in dark style. Don't think this album has no new idea's, because it has some tracks that must have blown up the dance floor. As opposed to the negative I mentioned, there is much positive as well. Track 5, Feel Like God, is one bangin track. Listen to how it takes off after 6:30. Delicious! Rise And Fall is also really energetic and cool. I think the Matrix samples in Wonderland are pretty cool to. It's just that I've heard stuff like this before and I know MFG can do better.

This is arguably the best Infected Mushroom album to date. Their music style is a hell of a lot different from The Gathering. In my opinion, The Gathering had one totally magnificant track, which was Virtual Voyage. If you listen to Goa, you have to own this. If you don't buy Goa cd's, you have to start NOW!!! No one downloads stuff like this. It's an insult. It should be illegal! This album is not over hyped. It deserves every great review it gets.

After really digging into this album, it's deeper than I thought. Healing Magic is great! love the tribal/Native American influence, structure, development, and direction. Wonderful synth work with deeper undertones, spiritual aspects that I love! The Ocean Also Dreams is really positive, uplifting. Not as Goa-esque, varied like the opening and the samples can arguably feel a bit overused, so I understand if some like it more than others. Astral Warrior (orginal) is cool, grows repetitive, pretty solid overall. The remix is a lot more refined, smooth, fluid, and improved. I feel like the remix could have easily replaced this one, but maybe the remix wasn't made yet? State of Mind is decent / good, though some parts feel less catchy than the first, more interesting set-up act. Serpent's Fire again starts interesting but impresses me less like the previous track. Decent / good, less captivating as a whole. Inner Energy is possibly the song I enjoy least here. It has a nice opening, but never grabs and pulls me in deeper and engages. I find it too repetitive with ideas, structure, and direction. Paranormal Activity is more tribally. Love the flute accent and the way it's used throughout. Like a chirping bird, super catchy! Very danceable track. Here's a return to more catchy, fun approach that the album lacks to some degree. Organic Forms (like track 2) is also chiller, deeper, melodic. Slower and pleasant combining ambient and trance. This could have been the closing track. I'd good, though no one act stands that much taller than the others. Still good! Sacred Vision is beautiful, spiritual, tribally and a very fitting of closing the debut. The pure Goa part feels a bit too intense in contrast to the first act. I adore the slower approach and would have loved an entire down/mid-tempo version instead. Some wonderful work, but the pure Goa part surprisingly feels a bit too much here compared to the superb first 3-4 or so minutes. Conclusion - Creative, original album in so many ways full of tribal, spiritual and organic/nature influence. Some may consider this debut a hit & miss and the middle act of the album (for me) is the least strong. Also some of the samples are arguably overused at times, here and there, and that's not every song, just a couple! That said, when it hits, it hits hard and has some really amazing work on it. Healing Magic is still one of my favourite Goa songs of all time. I don't mind the use of samples speaking personally and LOVE that song so much! Overall this flawed rare gem in numerous ways I feel has enough fire, heart, and spirit to warrant its purchase for lovers of Goa Trance. And the artist improved substantially with future releases! You can hear the passion that went into this album even if you're not a fan of every song or aspect of every track. It's wholesomely homemade from start to finish.

I love the sound/melody designs and powerful, mystical work of tracks 1+2. Pathfinder is awesome. So dark and stomping! Moonart is also really good! Shadow Spirit is strong, darker then Chi-ad's other work. Myopic Utopia is good too! Redivider is less intricate in some ways but again, I'm taken away letting go to the music. This is such a deep, mystical, visionary, atmospheric, and powerful Goa album that also has atypical, kickass tracks! WOW!

Having had more time to listen to this, it is a fact that this CD was aimed directly for the dance floor. The song, Analog Laughing Machine is awesome I really prefer WitchCraft. This CD certainly seems to be the one that you'll hear at a party, but it is nowhere near as deep, dark, EVIL, and twised as his last album. Still it's a good CD. =)
