  1. Btw. whats the name of the Japanese Anime about forest demons and stuff - Wolfs, Boars? It's fantastic, but I can never remember it's name.

    mononoke hime?

  2. for an album almost fully composed of breaks & bass-bombardements it's astonishing how it maintains such an easy-going & almost gentle flow. a very playful yet mature album imo.

  3. Ok i c the point. I am talking in terms of music only, i have it in mp3s anyways.

(BTW SAW 2 is better IMO)

compared the flacs of the remaster to mp3's of the original but there doesn't seem to be a really noticable difference, except that the remaster has a slightly more crisp sound perhaps.

(btw 2 is too different to compare with imo; 1 is more of an ethereal atmospherical nature; where'as 2 is more focused on pulling you through diverse hallucinatory soundscapes.)

  4. euhh i think you dont understand something. Taste its a FUCKIN debate in philosophy, philosophers as been talking about the reality of taste since Protagoras men, so all right, YOU just answered the question hundreds of philosophers tried to find, congrats!

    FUCK YEAH, philosophy.

afaik taste is a bit more than just a copulating debate in philosophy.

  5. Since you seem like you have a pretty good understanding in how this works, I noticed the frequency range being 46hz-35khz... They don't reproduce a correct signal at the sub freqs then? And they go much higher than, for example the VXT6's that only goes to 23khz as far as I recall... But we can't hear freq's over 20khz so why even bother make them go so high? Don't really understand

you can program dog-whistles on them.

  6. I don't like this at all. I find it very dull. I'm clearly in the minority, at least of people who feel strongly enough to post, and that's fine. Musical appreciation is totally subjective and I think it's great that you all are getting off so mightily to this release.

But it does nothing whatsoever for me and I guess I just wanted to throw that out there since all the reviews so far have been overwhelmingly favorable.

thought it was quite dull aswell. works pretty well as unobtrusive backgroundmusic though.

  7. I don't really agree with this. The drugs that are most associated with psytrance have an "up" period that lasts a lot longer than a single album. Seems like if you wanted the music to work alongside, say, an acid trip, then you would listen to several uptempo albums followed by a few downtempo ones.

it's nice to let it breathe for a few minutes. & then off to the next wormhole.

  8. its all good, its just im stunt what you think! im really suprised, i was sure you would freak out about at least kettel and abbasi brothers, but i dont mind, taste is taste after all, but really, the abbassi brothers???? im really surprised, cause its far beyound than juste good for me, its fresh, new, original, for this year, my tp 3 was distant system, subheim and opius iridium, but kettel and abbasi brothers just change everything

    oh well

the 'abbassi brothers' sound like dirty socks.
  9. just received my m520's :) so far so good! good punch, full bass & clear mids/high.

    Hi fluffymushi!

    Long time no see :)

In the same price range I have a pair of Edirol MA-20D and I'me very pleased with them!

Linear sound and good for small studio/rooms.

It seems that they only make the 15D now though: http://www.rolandus.com/products/productde...mp;ParentId=114

Heard good things about the Alesis MKII, but don't know about the m520.

    Boom

ahoi serguei. :] i looked into the 15D's but they seemed a little small & underpowered in the bass-department (cut-off at 70hz). are you still working on the swan x-1 project btw?
