damn, this came as a total surprise to me, don't know about the rest of you.. i was checking out the yoyo records releases at psyshop and noticed the album violet vision - unfold, which is their 2nd album, supposed to be coming soon.. they even have samples from it. just wanted to express my excitement about this release, because i love their first album!

well... i'd say hallucinogen's twisted is pretty essential.. also pleiadians - ifo, x-dream - radio, total eclipse - violent relaxation etc etc of course you should only purchase albums you like yourself... but the ones i mentioned pretty much everybody likes.

old school is a lot easier to define than new school. old school is melodic stuff like astral projection, mfg and pleiadians. new school is difficult to define because psy-trance has branched into different sub-styles.. these are the three main sub-styles imo: full-on style like gms and alien project minimal style like son kite, beat bizarre and reefer decree tech-trance style such as the new x-dream, wizzy noise and the delta .. but there are lots of artists that can't be put in a single category, but have qualities from these different sub-styles. okay that's what i think.

i buy stuff all the time from psyshop.com, using the cod payment. that way you only give your money after you've received the goods so it's safe.

they have lots of cool tracks but one of my favourites is definitely experimental jam

i used to be frustrated about it but then i forced myself to really listen to the newer stuff and i started to like it.. now i'm happy with the current state of psytrance, i like almost everything that's coming out.

i think delta's send in send back is much more like x-dream's latest than scizoeffective

the samples are now available at psyshop where the album is said to be "coming soon".. they sound very very good, making this album an instant buy for me as soon as it's available!

the first track i've heard was something from astral projection, and i thought the melody was just awesome and i loved the feeling it gave me.. that's how it started.

yeah chrome sounds really good.. i was buying cd's the other day and the guys at the record shop were playing amazing tracks of some cd.. i asked what it was and they told me it was chrome.. i was really surprised cause it didn't sound minimal at all as i had excpected it to sound. gonna buy it in the future.
