it is. it varies from the original, no guitar but a minimalistic organ in the later parts. if you listen to the beginning of both songs, you can hear it is at least inspired by PF. same triolic (dunno on english, three counts on every 4th) rhythm there and same pad-effects. "one of these days im going to cut you into small pieces"

voov is just too big for me, theres no coziness about it. plus you get to know someone on friday and wont see him again for the rest of the party. it gets pretty anonymous like this. i never went to the party because the argument "its big" doesnt work for me. finally i was there in 2003 and it was just like i thought. the music on the mainstage was very strange too after the opening, stayed most of the time on the prog-floor (where were no lasers). i just prefer smaller outdoors. lasershow was great, but thats not all that counts, you know. trainstation isnt that important for me either, cause i can drive there by car (clean trancer (with exceptions..)). putlitz is ok, but i dont leave the partyground too often anyway. its just not my gusto

i like the breaks and the reversed hihats in them. the panning is ok too, i think, might sound nice when played loud on a large floor. it sounds a little empty on the bottom.. or might be my speakers tho. the 16th synth in the later part makes most of the rhythm i guess, maybe try to layer it with some lowcut snarelike sounds in an apropiate rhythm? or how does it sound with the cowbell from the first half? or, third possibility, fill with wafting, noisy pads? like the one in the beginning. mmmmh.. the breaks maybe work out the one at around 4:45 a little bit more. bold overall, nice short pulses for the bassline, dont really know how to say in english i will include it in my playlist.

well.. if you can take some holiday, i recommend the full moon festival in germany. it goes from friday to thursday (15.7. - 21.7.) and the line up is like a wet dream (at least for me..). some of the artist: atomic pulse, eskimo (weeeeeh), exaile, kindzadza, naked tourist, parasense (weeeeh²), sub6, star-x, talamasca, tristan, wrecked machines, xenomorph.. and may more. www.fullmoon-festival.com be there! ps: hit me, but i find VooV overrated t.t
