the Fish song (track 9) has been getting tons of play from me, as well as track 1. i can't fault this compilation, it's filled with fatness.

thank you Krell, your enjoyable set has been keeping my energy and attention up as i study for exams. when i get tired at night i play it. keep it up!

that new Phony Orphants album had undeniable electro influences (which is their style and i am not bagging it - i enjoyed most of that album). i think we can expect FREq to deliver a more 'trancey' album by comparison....in fact i can't wait to hear what he's been up to since Strange Attractors. on a sidenote, anyone know if there's new Frogacult coming out soon?

this track - "Silicon Sound & Neuromotor - Kalliu Abe" is apparently a rename of "Silicon Sound - Funky Droid" made to trick people into thinking the two artists had collaborated.

Fractal Glider is undoubtedly one of my favourite producers too. Can't wait to hear what he's brewing up for his new album....

why?

I saw Eat Static perform in December 2004, and they played a track towards the climax of their set which I cannot identify. It uses the riff/melody from the archetypal vintage synthesiser tune "Hot Buttered Popcorn", played in that acidy, squeeky Eat Static style. If someone could name the track, and let me know which album/compilation it's on, i'd be stoked. Thanks in advance! *fingers crossed*
