  1. $40 is a steal for that CD. There are plenty of people, especially collectors willing to pay ton of money for that CD. Once I saw it sold for something like 90 GBP or maybe even more (how much is that in Euro or $US) .....and it was missing the front cover !!??! I can't even imagine how much it would fetch if the front cover was intact, but I know there are quite a few people that are after it. It is one of those releases that is a total milestone in this genre (I'd say probably the best melodic Goa CD ever) AND super rare at the same time. People will pay gold for those. BTW the vinyl version has all the tracks from the CD and may be little easier to find and is in sligtly less demand. I just tought you'd like to know since I think you're more into vinyl than CD. I think the current "market" value of the CD is $150-200 while the vinyl can go between $50-$80.
  2. Hypnorhythm is not that good. IFO is way better if you ask me.
  3. Anyone have Logic Bomb - Earth Orbit / Dumbo 12" single for sale or trade? Please pm me if you do. Thanks

    Pleiadians - IFO

    Alcyone's remix is great too
  6. Just got the cd's he sent me. Very good communication and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended
  7. X-dream and Blue Planet Corp have made their respecitve breakthroughs in 1993 with their Trance classics such as Children of the last generation and Over Bloody Flood. They fit well within your time range. Exactly my dilemma...where do you draw the line? If you include Acid Techno guys like Hardfloor then that will open the door to many more. Moby's classic "Go" for example had a great influence on modern Trance, but good luck getting ahold of him today. Paul Van Dyk had some great tunes back in a day....now he is voted no. 1 DJ in the world by DJmag. Pete Lazonby's Sacred Cycles is another milestone as well.
  8. Judging by those names I can tell you like old EyeQ/Harthouse For me however this label was the second generation of trance and these guys, although very influential (and good) helped put Trance on a global map and helped it gain it's popularity. This leaves us with the question who are those original pioneers and that is hard to answer because back then it was all called "Techno". For example Speedy J could have been labelled as a Trance artist back then, but he was so ahead of his time that he was a genre on his own, same goes for some Orbital, Dance 2 Trance,Moby, Resistance D. songs... I'm not sure I'd put Hardfloor on the list. I'd rather put them under Acid then Trance umbrella.. I'd also add Cosmic Baby, X-Dream, and Blue Planet Corp. to your list.. Good luck with your project.
  9. ever heard the original version of Eat Static-Hybrid? I like it much better then the remix.
  10. They did try...listen to Space Cat's first album Beam me up...the problem is he tried to sound like Simon.
  11. No I don't think he is. Here's what I found out: http://www.discogs.com/release/502517
  12. Let me know if you ever decide to sell or trade the Spectral 12"
  13. I'm not sure you read every word I said. Notice I underlined "why" someone likes or dislikes particular release. I also wrote that I listened to samples but in my opinion they sometimes proove to be misleading. As you can notice from the titles I ordered the range of my taste is very wide (from chill out, to "straight/proper" trance of 12 Moons to experimental/crazy finnish sound), so the style is not really an issue, what I tried to do is get the best available stuff from each sub-genre that I don't own already. I just tought it doesn't hurt to hear another opinion or two...that's all Oh and by the way I bought Lime Light and Quality Relaxation CD's already.....I thought you'd be glad people like them
  14. Ka-Sol If Christer continues the way he started, he will be THE future of modern Psychedelic Electronic Music. The leader of the new wave. Let's hope he does. Remeber his name if you don't know it already...you may be mentioning it in the same breath as Simon Posford one day.
  15. I think this one is a different 'Low Steps' Balearic Breaks re-edit or whtever they call it mix only available on this record.... looks like I got the last copy from saikosounds, as it's out of stock. These promos used to sell on e bay for craaaazy insane prices since it was in big time DJ's mixes and therefore appealed to the crowds beyond Psy Trance scene.
  16. Yeah, I tried to avoid formulaic boring full on and minimal/repetative shite
  17. Yeah, I do but isn't that a different vinyl only version or something (thay had no samples).
  18. OK folks I just ordered a bouch of tunes from Saikosounds based on the samples and a few reviews. However you never know if you made a good decision until you hear the whole thing properly, so I was wondering if people that heard these titles could write their opinion (and also why something is good or not so good). Thanks a lot in advance Here are the titles: 12 Moons - Solid State - CD - Candyflip Derango - Tumult - CD - Inpsyde Media Nystagmus - The Immaculate Perception - CD - SunDance Squaremeat - Astronomical Coffee Break - CD - Exogenic - Various Artists - Levitation - CD - Candyflip - [CFCD015] = USD Various Artists - Idea FX - CD - Horns And Hoofs Entertainment Various Artists - 7th Compilation - CD - Schlabbaduerst ReKkords Voice Of Cod - We Are Free - CD - Organic Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden - CD - Ultimae Shpongle - Dorset Perception / Beija Flor - 12" - Twisted
