  1. I don't agree. This is cool, ok, but it doesn't deserve the maximum mark. no no

no. I agree with the review but i'd only give 7/10. As a matter of fact if you

liked the others flights, it's for you as it's better than latest flights. If

you never managed to like the flights, don't buy.

  2. ...without forgetting Fluorostani Transcendance which is a "hard & fast

speacial nervous dancefloor" track, and Accelerator & Internal Horizon which

are classics (a bit too classic?).

This compil used to be rather good, could have been better. But there are

tracks for different tastes...that's why delli likes the tracks of the first

half only and I like some tracks of the 2n half too.

By the way I prefer AirBorn (AFR too) rather than this compil.

  3. At the begining, I didnt like this compilation very much....but i've changed my

    mind now.

Beware: this is only Israeli stuff. Remember the name: Full On! So imagine this

compil is really conventional psychedelic music...and I think this is really

good. tracks 1-2-3: great great great!, 4-5: always the same for those

artists..., 6: excellent!, 7: nice try, 8: good, 9: too oldschool but okay.

    My favorites are 1-3-6.

    overall: 8/10. for psychedelia lovers.

  4. No no nooo i don't agree at all !!

This is no shpongle..this is much simpler breakbeat/electro.

Remember this album has absolutely nothing to do with the first Deviant

    Electronics one!!

Anyway i must admit that -for a breakbeat album- that's good.

But that's NOT psychedelic. That's what BueRoom has been providing us with for

    more that one year.

That's probably for those who don't like full on and that don't like

    minimalistic psytrance either !!!

  5. Those tracks must be listened to in a party. They'd be just part of the

deliria. Each time those tracks were played in a party, everyone would dance

    without trying to understand.

Yes, at home this wonderful mass-effect isn't there, as Anoebis said. But do

you think Ricktam & Bansi prefer seeing people dancing in their flat? eheheh

nooo! Party is part of their mescalined-DNA.

Anyway what we have here is a set of true killers. don't expect anything else

than GMS GMS GMS & GMS style. So if you don"t like GMS, please stop reading.

Every track was probably done out of hallucinations...Los amigos han

probablemente traido unas pequeñas ideas. Everything is very fast with

vibrating rabbit sounds on several layers, and those killer breaks &

    re-entries!

    My favs: 2,3,5,7,8,9.

    party mark: 9/10 & home mark:7/10

  6. Due to its authors, Vacuum Tube looks like a X-Dream production on some tracks

(eg 1, 4, 5), and a Planet Ben Prod on some other tracks.

Basically the tracks are good. I really like Amplifier with its powerful sounds

all along. And the whole album is full of energy; don't expect multiple

overlays or twisting sounds all along. That's more underlying, more mental

    indeed.

The BIG problem is that nearly all the tracks were released before. So there is

no mystery, even at the first listening. That's a brilliant record, ok, but it

seems to be more a collection than a brand new production. So, 6.5/10.

  7. Total Eclipse / Resurex - BFLT 64

    Artist: Total Eclipse / Resurex

    Title: BFLT 64

    Label: Dragonfly

    Date: 2000

    Track listing:

    01. 06'37" Total Eclipse : Bimone

    02. 07'21" Resurex : Copine

    Review:

The Bordeaux mad crew is back to the roots on Dragonfly, but the sound is far

    from being roots:

The Total Eclipse track was written by Serge: no problem, you can recognize the

Total Eclipse touch, but the sounds are more "in fashion", that is: more dark.

Fortunately, the track itself is good, really not monotonous....this is what

you can expect from TE !

The Resurek track was written by Stepane/TE And J.Sogabe. The track has also

inherited more recent souns. It's kicking, there's a lot of energy in it, the

sounds all around are just in the good place to give the listener a

break...moreover I like the little sounds at the end. What else? Buy the black

    BFLT64 with the green sticker ! 8/10.

    Label: Yellow Feather

    Track listing:

    CD 1 (Blue Energy)

    01. 06'46" Sommeil Paradoxal

    02. 09'26" Anawa's Paradise

    03. 07'25" Breathing Ocean

    04. 08'13" Brainstorm

    05. 09'44" Nasty Angel

    06. 09'21" Maï Maï

    07. 08'59" Spiritual Drops And Eternal Ices

    08. 09'25" After The Rain

    CD 2 (Blue Synergy)

    01. Sentences To Heaven

    02. Sillenium

    03. Time Machine

    04. Kannibal

    05. Factory Of Mind

    06. Meditation

    Review:

The first CD is the reedition of Jaïa's album released in mid-1998.

To have an idea of it, just take a look at the Jaïa : Blue Energy review page.

The second cd is a compil of tracks released -or not- at different ages, and on

    different labels.

Sentences to Heaven....a typical Jaïa track, fast and cool at the same time,

charming voices. There is also a powerful break! ok.

Sillenium was written with Deedrah. This is a true killer with psychedelia

everywhere...a total dancefloor tune. Once again, the break near the end is

perfect and it's difficlt not to dance on that track.

Time Machine also used to be a very good party track. It rolls quickly over a

guy saying 'le temps....' all the time...then there are voices, a break, and

it restarts to roll again and again! Everything is very well studied.

    Excellent track.

Kannibal is new: it's fast and more minimalistic than the rest:mainly rhythmic.

There is a good work on the drums. Near the end, there are a few waves And

people shouting. The groove is OK, the track is OK.

Factory of the Mind is also (nearly) unknown. It has a powerful bassline, the

track runs fast, there are shy little sounds dealing with other drumworks And

quick plastic sounds over that. sure the effect would be excellent on a

    dancefloor !

Meditation is a very emigmatic calm track, with voices. It's cool And still

really good ...something to calm you down after 2 hours of powerful energies.

If you've never had the Original Blue Energy, or if you don't know Jaïa, here

is your chance to repair the offense!

  9. Kiss The Future 2 - Procyon

    Artist: Kiss The Future 2

    Title: Procyon

    Label: Atomic

    Date: 2000

    Track listing:

    01. 08'27" Saiko-Pod : Pling Pong

    02. 08'25" Psychaos : Creative Anomaly

    03. 08'20" NTSX : Dreamshot

    04. 06'37" The Antidote : Chewbacca

    05. 08'39" Tortured Brain Vs Steriliser : The Dealer

    06. 08'25" Morphem : Zwergensaft

    07. 07'00" Man With No Name : Deep Trouble In Outer Space (Original 94 Mix)

    08. 07'03" Nucleus : Hovercraft (System Mix)

    09. 08'26" Etnica : Simulate The Future

    Review:

First the Saiko-Pod is a cool pumping dancefloor track with 2 parts. The first

one is mainly rhythmic, and the second one is more psychedelic with synthetic

sounds going from one ear to another quickly !

The Psychaos track is for sure a Psychaos track: usual rhythm And sounds. A

pretty repetitive tune but various enough not to be bored.

The NTSX thing is like a hardtekno track: big beat, industrial-like sounds...ok

track on a dancefloor i guess.

Antidote (Total Eclipse) guys are definitely mad with this angry track: Techno

influences again. everything is fat on this tune. Don't expect psychedelic

waves, the deal is mainly a beat-summonning-dancing-zombies track !!

Dino Psaras And sterilizer piece of music starts with the usual running rhythm

of tortured brain tracks...a guy talking in the background tells us the story

and after 3 minutes, the madness begins: the track makes me think of someone

running away, stopping, running again, getting out of breath. The drums are

used with expertise and there are big breaks with wizzy sythetic sounds and a

    rain of kicks!

Morphem track is very fast...pumping. Some patterns are filled with a cool

recurrent theme. the end is more melodic and the whole result is very good!

This MWNN track as released by Oforia 2+ years ago...Typical MWNN music, very

psychedelic, good groove, good rise...but i dont like the break:too fluffy.

The track is good anyway but i prefer Pigs in Space remix.

Nucleus provide us with a monotonic track...waves of smooth sounds over a

    rhythm..nothing else.

Eventually the Etnica track is very good! It vas written a long time ago and

it's a pleasure to see it on a compil. So it has a truly groovy kick/bassline,

the psychedelic sounds come after 2 minutes, increase after 5 minutes, more

psychedelic sounds come after 6 minnutes the track is like a cool story. The

    rhythm is really perfect.

Overall we have once again a very good compil from Atomic. The best tracks are

    1,3,4,5,6,9 to my mind. New sounds...very interesting...8/10.

  10. This was considered as very psychedelic trance 3 years ago..now it sounds too

melodic and oldschool. Moreover it's really not the best from Asia2001 and it

doesnt deserve the mark i can see above. In 1997 it would have deserved

    6.5/10...now...

  11. Almost all the tracks are good. The whole compilation is dark. The GMT is OK,

The codex tracks are OK, the In R Voice track is very good, the distorsion

Orchestra tune too. then the Mekano and the Pong trax are too minimalist, and

    not funny.

The Sensphere tune is very very good and powerful. This artist has only

released a few tracks and he's getting better And better. So this track is

really weird, fast And drak, perfect for the dancefloor with all those strange

sounds in the second half...I liked it a lot.

The last track is Dark soho's Suckobus: it's angry, dark, powerful, and twisted

at the end - really good.

This compilation is a good one but it's for people who really like dark stuff.

6.5/10, and more for the last 2 tracks.

  12. Well, I liked Polar EP, but I can't put up with this one. Andromeda is a good

track just like explained above, but Robot Rebellion is just bad boomboom.

    Polar EP was far better.

  13. Jaïa - Insomnie / Mohamour / Orphée

    01. 06'23" Insomnie

    02. 06'11" Mohamour

    03. 07'40" XY

    Review:

Do you remember this old EP with a big orange spiral and red balls on it?

I listened to it again lately and...it still rocks:

'Insomnie' is stomping, with high psy sounds. It makes you travel a lot. Pure

oldschool Goa style. Simple but efficient.

'Mohamour' used to be a hit. It has an oriental ambiance all along. Once again,

it's a big trip, melodic, simple.. that's a successfull mix between oriental

violins and trance sounds. I like that track.

'Orphée' is classical. It's a fast track, almost killer, with the typical

rhythm that was in every track in 95-96, and lots of psychedelic melodies. The

music slips around you, some break with organ gives you a time to breathe, and

your ears must like it. There is another sort of break, then the music remains

melodic but gets more subtle. Pure delight.

A must EP. too bad it's impossible to find now. 8/10.

  14. I think this album of California Sunshine is like its brothers: some old

tracks, some remixes, some not interesting stuff all around and we have a

    great (useless) 2xCD!

    the Astral Projection syndrom ?

    good: there are some ideas,

bad: the sound is out of date.

If you don't know California sunshine: 5.5/10.

If you know California Sunshine: 4/10.

    01. 07'14" CRMB : Wonders

    02. 07'16" Absolut Noise : What

    03. 07'51" GMS Vs Manitu : The Vampire Strikes Back

    04. 09'23" Wizzy Noise : Tripoid

    05. 08'02" Absolum Vs Nomad : The Game Part 2

    06. 08'19" Deedrah : Reload

    07. 08'14" Bamboo Forest : Analyser

    08. 07'58" Sonic Kinkies : Method Of Oria

    09. 09'15" Yucatan : His Brain Has Gone

    Review:

Alert: blockbuster here ! This is a great great compil !

'Wonders' is a very very good fasttrack, perfect for psychedelic dancefloors.

'What' is an Absolum And Wizzy Noise production and it crashes your brain

    during the last minute. waw!

'The Vampire...' is a tune by GMS And DJ Saïdu/3DV. I'll learn you nothing if i

say it looks like a GMS track plus the 3DV touch. The break is awesome! - This

    track rocks (grâve)!!

'Tripoid' is good if you don't know Wizzy Noise. Else there is no surprise

since the track looks like another W-N track.

'The Game pt2' is typical Absolum stuff (boomboom-break-psychedelia), and if

you like this style, you'll love this track for sure. A killer on parties.

'Reload' begins like a dream, then it blows your mind, and makes you happy.

It's difficult to explain. The track is really 'different'. At the end you

think you've heard everything from it and it still surprises you. Deedrah

showed his expertise on this killer piece of music!

'Analyser' unrolls perfectly, climbs hard, breaks, kicks your face.

'Method of Oria' (notice the play on words) tells you Mr Dikovsky still exists.

The track has the typical style And instruments we used to like. It's also

    deeper, especially near the end!

'His Brain has Gone' is a downtempo track. Just here to calm down. Nothing

    special to notice.

Although this compil is a 3DV prod, it's not repetitive...that's good. My

favourites are track s nr 6,3,1 but the other ones are really impressive too.

Download is a good snapshot of what the mad guys from Paris-Ibiza-Thessaloniki

are able of and you are urged to buy it.

    8.5/10.
