  1. villebon sur yvette is in the south of paris, quite far but there is a RER (some kind of train) going to that town.

but when you're at the villbon sur yvette train station, the big dome where the party takes place is still quite far. i walked there once, it took me one hour+.

to solve that last year, and in the know that many foreigners come to that party, the organisers had rented busses that were going from the villbon station to the party.

this year it will be the same!!!! so be happy.

just be careful because the last train to villebon leaves paris at 0:29. and then, at the train station you'll be also happy to wait ofr the bus, while freezing, but expecting a great party :)

    infos on www.trancebody.com, www.gaia-concept.com, and www.chill-out.nu

on the scanned flyers you have all the infos.

  2. this is particularly minimal. it was hard for me to cope with it, even though i'm fond of the delta / autricular / snug as a bug. to my mind there is a difference between auricular and shiva chandra though its the same guy behind. shiva chandra's gecko album is not that groovy. really minimal (or i wasn't in the mood when i listened to it ?).

i think minimal lovers would like it a lot.

  3. at least let's answer him guys

    >>>go get some Cherouvim stuff, he does music like Holymen.

but actually there is a significant difference (even more nowadays) between psytrance and what you're looking for : ptzatzot / nitzohnot.

that's why people wouldn't answer you (bwaa bwaa bluuu bwoo).

  4. the minimum to get into a party in paris is ~15 euros even if the DJs are crap.....

basically i'd prefer a good live act in the middle of the night to increase the temperature during 1 hour !!

and that for anything up to 15 euros, of course :)

  5. if you read my message you could see i'm looking for parties around the eve, i mean 2 days +/- around the eve, not 1 month :)

we'll stay in scandinavia only one week

so can anyone tell me if there is a party in Sweden on the 31st ?

  6. this work was about MultiProtocol Label Switching ( a network technology allowing flows differenciation, provisionning, quality of service on data backbones ). I was working for a big telecom provider.

however i had studied computer science a lot before, which has nothing to do with data networks, s it was hard.

and in january, i'm going to work for another company on transporatation solutions ( computer driven solutions to find the cheapest way to bring something from one point to another, and also some consulting about transportation logistics....) i still don't know if i'll like it very much.

    you know everything

  7. a friend and i are planning to go to denmark and sweden after chrismas, till january 2nd, something like that.

so i want to know if there are good parties in DK or SW around the eve,

and if one of you dares to welcome 2 freaks during ~3 nights in sweden, we'd be grateful !!

  8. i presented my thesis this morning and now i've definitely finished my studies. although i've been working for one year, i had not the diploma yet...

what has it to do with psytrance ?

well i want to thank people who's been supporting me, eg the 2 freaks who are hanging out every evening in my appartment, and children who had the same examination one month ago.

and i want to thank psytrance for having released enough cds for me to play while i was writing hundreds of pages....

  9. hey triplex, i said that too a few days ago

    http://www.onewayltd.com/psyforums/read.ph...i=29693&t=29693

    Quel Cimetière is excellent

and now i must add that i think X-Calibur is wonderful too !

    >>> Tegma guys : an album soon? a live act somewhere in europe not too far from france soon ? pleaaassee !!

hmm something else : in french it is "quel cimetière" and not "quel cimitiere" is it because of a spelling problem on the non toxic freqz compil or because of you ?

  10. i like both styles with a preference to melodic/psy stuff

actually i think some minimal tracks are as strong as some pure full on tracks, but they dont occur as oftenly...examples : spirallianz - onewayltd, midimiliz - cream, tegma - satanic wars, tegma - quel cimetière, tegma - x-calibur, some auricular tracks, and more...

  11. Thanks Bor !

eheheh! we are on http://www.psyhead.net/plur2/MVC-385F.JPG (me : gray tshirt; my friend : small guy aside)

We met Anoebis, Isis, Bor, Lizzy, Psilo, and many people i had seen at the Senseblender festival. I think i saw Moondancer, but i'm not sure.

By the way, we saw people from Strasbourg and Lille (FR). They were friendly, and they told me that they had known the party thanks to this site. Cool to hear that ! (if you read it, can you contact me please ?). They are on some of the photos too.

As for the party, oldschool tracks like the ones we heard don't exist anymore in France. I enjoyed them a lot, especially when Joske played 'Vimana'. I really think it would have been a mistake not to go to this party !!....no dealers, no problems, cool and vast place, good vibes, Anoebis+Isis always smiling...

We were 4 but one of our friends has ear problems and he had forgotten his earplugs (!!), so 2 of us stayed in the car....too bad for them. We left at 8AM, completely tired.

    Thanks Joske !

  12. some tall blond man, living in bordeaux, in touch with some famous israeli people (!!!) told me that...he was told that...Ofer has an album ready.

the problem for us is still the release date :)

  13. Bio Tonic - Elektrik Colors

    Posted Image

    Artist: Bio Tonic

    Title: Elektrik Colors

    Label: Solstice

    Date: 2001

    Track listing:

    01. 06'57" The 3rd Link

    02. 06'47" Stream

    03. 07'43" Zoological

    04. 07'30" Ayauesca

    05. 08'04" Intersideral Meeting

    06. 07'09" The Ghost Show

    07. 07'29" Sanctuary

    08. 08'13" The Ultimate

    09. 06'54" Peacefull Perception

    Review:

The 3rd Link(1) starts quickly, progresses nicely, on a psy style. It kicks and

drives you high directly, but it's not exhausting. the breaks are pleasant,

the psy touches are ok. there are voices at the end while the tracks rolls a

lot to reach the end. it seems it's too short while its ~7 minutes!

Stream(2) is a kicking track that grown nicely and drives you to dance. Hard,

    and happy on a dancefloor.

Zoological(3) sounds like rhythm and bits of psy sounds around. not various

    enough.

Ayauesca(4) pumps while small sounds behind try to excite your brain. There are

also drums. nice work, but not enough.

Intersideral Meeting(5) takes a moment to start but it peppers you with some

little notes. After the break there is no real change but the track is ok.

The Ghost Show(6) is dark and inventive. I'm not sure but i think people would

really love it on a dancefloor. there are several breaks and touches of

darkness and guitar that make it enjoyable!

Sanctuary(7) is a bit industrial, a bit psychedelic, a bit whatever, but it

seems it never really starts, never catches the listener. Too bad, this could

have been a bomb. It's ok but....once again there is a small thing missing

    here!

The Ultimate(8) is a downtempo track. It's very linear but it gives a break.

    nice synth lines.

Peaceful Perception(9) is another calm track. the rhythmic is more dubbed. it

drives you during a cool moment, with evanescent notes, voices, and it becomes

a bit more psychedelic with more smooth acid loops at the end.

Overall this is a good quite good album, better than many this year, BUT with a

big flaw. Biotonic guys -while very good technically- have concentrated too

much on the rhythmic to such an extent that many tracks sound the same

(imagine gms minus the psychedelia or darksoho minus the wild guitar

parts...). A kick and a bassline don't make it anymore, because it's too

common. Anyway i think many of those tracks are valuable on a

dancefloor....With more work it could have been far better........6.5/10.

  14. Actually it is a good revival because the tracks are well chosen. For people

newly involved into psytrance, this is a good summary of what israeli artists

are able of. For the others (who own most of these tracks), there is far less

    interest in owning this compil.
