  1. If you meant the Shpongle cover, on the actual album insert the text isn't there, it's better. (:
  2. So, I know it's been said before, but that album is mind-blowing. Fuckin' amazing stuff. Just listened to the whole thing, and I can't think of a better psy/goa album that I've heard. Trust in Trance is some pretty good stuff, but as far as I'm concerned, it's not even in the same league as IFO. Goddamn.
  3. Transwave - Bombay Night GodDAMN, that bassline... *shivers* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ERyQG2xeEU
  4. I really dig that, it's just got this vibe! I'm not sure if you meant it, but I really love the juxtaposition of the real tree outside with the tree mural on the wall in this shot: Great work! ;D
  5. As well as beatspace, you can find a fair amount of psy on Amazon. 6. So this is my first time producing a psy track - there are some things I'd like to improve, but I think it turned out alright, considering. (: I know it's compressed as hell and could use some mixing, but some feedback would be great! Tell me what you think of the song, and if you're a psy producer yourself, constructive criticism would be much appreciated. What could I be doing better? http://www.sendspace.com/file/a1rsx8
  7. I'd just like to say, Ektoplazm's a damn good site - it's not lost on me the quality of the digital packaging, the clarity with which it's all been organized, and the quality of the music itself. Excellent work, I really appreciate it. (: As for my 2009 album recommendations... I haven't listened to much from this year, but stuff I did like was Radical Distortion's Psychedelic Dreams and Shpongle's new release.
  8. Lovin' this album. It's got such a cool vibe, like psy meets ambient meets ethnic meets whatever-the-fuck. Great release. ;D
  9. Happy new year! Take it easy, keep it cool. (:
  10. I'm diggin' the South African stuff - it's got energy and intensity, but it's not as dark as darkpsy. A pretty good happy medium! Cheers, and happy new year.
  11. Hey there! So, after recently being turned on to psy and goa, I've found a few artists I like (Filteria, Artifact303, Ananda Shake, Shpongle, among others) but nothing I've heard has quite the energy and feel of a track that a friend of mine submitted to Newgrounds. I've been looking, but I can't find anything that sounds quite like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_Abi3RzKao I posted it in the "What are you listening to now" thread in hopes for some offhand recommendations, but now I figure it's time I ask outright. Can anyone recommend me a psy artist with a similar energetic, dance-able sound? (:
  12. In my limited experience, easily my favorite psy song, period. (: http-~~-//www.youtube.c...h?v=N_Abi3RzKao
