    V/A - Creation

V/A - Creation Artist: Various Title: Creation Label: Psyforce Productions Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Nonzero : Piraya 02. Chromosome : Scientifics 03. Birtik : Method 04. Radix : Things That Say Wroom 05. Sensphere : Respawn 06. Wizzy Noise : Master Of Disaster 07. Kluster : The Down Lock Thing 08. Weirdo Beardo : 911 09. Sienis : Tranceformers 10. Logic Bomb : Computers And Microprocessors Review: Wow! I'm suprised. This is a good comp. No minimal, damn that feels good! There are some newcomers here, for me anyway, actually, there is more than some newcomers for me Wizzy Noise and Logic Bomb im very familar with and they surley do their job. The other tracks are just as good in their own way. Not cheesy, but squeeky, freaky psy. This comp could be Solid #2 imo, only with a little less melodies. Final Verdict: 4/5
  2. V/A - Psychedelic Demons 3 Artist: Various Title: Psychedelic Demons 3 Label: Insolation Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Akanoid : Butning (Live Version) 02. Acan And Alpha : Emotion 03. Karavena : Deep Sequenca 04. Klangbilderzeuger : Doppler Effect (Low Mid Mix) 05. Sediment 4 : Krank Im Geist 06. Akasha Project : Grindstone 07. CON Sequencer Feat Milk : Discovery 08. Prototyp : Highlite Diversity 09. Sphere : Rotation Review: I don't know what to call this. Hard dark psy with not to much melodies. But the last 3 tracks are not at all dark. Kinda weird twist. There are some tracks that is cool and will for sure crush the dancefloor, track 3 and 4 that is. Hard, dark stuff with alot of noises. The other tracks, well, i think they are lacking sounds. They are too empty in some way. Final Verdict: 6/10
  3. Saafi Connection - Prince Of Paranoia Artist: Saafi Connection Title: Prince Of Paranoia Label: Spectrum Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Impact 02. Desert 03. Deep Space 04. Kaimera 05. Prince Of Paranoia 06. Monster DNA (Rmx) 07. Dream Way 08. Illegal Alien 09. Total Experience Review: Get ready for another well produced full-on release. It sounds like a mix of Alien Project and GMS. I guess that cover the whole thing. No slow tracks on this one. But I'm starting to get sick of this sound. Always the same structure etc. No new ideas, no new sounds in any way. A little more imagination and inovation next time please. Final Verdict: 6/10
  4. V/A - Ease Division Artist: Various Title: Ease Division Label: Spiral Trax Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Stress Assassin : RBC 02. 12 Moons : Beach Bum Drumz 03. Dab Screen : Dab Away 04. Human Blue And DJ Floyd : When The Pieces Come Together 05. S-Range : 7.6 Ghz 06. Matenda : Imagination 07. Robert Leiner : Roots FM 1 08. Vibrasphere : 33000 Feet Over 09. Healer : Hibernation Review: Wooh! Good dub/chillout from Spiral Trax. I like this one cuz it's not that much nonsense. You know, it is drums and there are alot of sounds, not just one synth string thru the whole track. I didnt thought S-Rang could do chillout but they sure can. Best track i think is Vibrasphere. Their always do good downtempo. Very nice comp. Final Verdict: 8/10

    V/A - Travel Pack

V/A - Travel Pack Artist: Various Title: Travel Pack Label: Sub Machine Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Luna Spice : Cosmik Aum (Hobbit Trip) 02. Tetraktys : Shaky Progress 03. Luna Spice : Texture 04. Kent : Prog In Art 05. Tetraktys : Fight Back 06. Missing Time : Excess End 07. Walhalla : Stun Runner Review: Yet again; not my cup of tea. Hard psy with a touch of minimal. As usual nowadays. I wonder why the don't have one more track in here. The CD is only 56mins long. Anyway...The whole cd reminds me of VA-Into The Parkness. I find only two tracks that is more interesting than the others, and those are the both Tetraktys tracks. More freaked out than the others imo. This cd is just to minimal/technoish for me. Final Verdict 5/10

    Cosmosis - Contact

Cosmosis - Contact Artist: Cosmosis Title: Contact Label: Transient Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Contact 02. Find Your Own Difinity 03. The First Step 04. Holographic 05. Inner Space 06. Supernatural 07. Weird, Sick And Twisted (Cosmosis Rmx) 08. Human Evolution 09. Skankadelic Review: Oh my GOD! This is so good it's almost sick. This is so...hmm...psychedelic One of the best releases for a really long time. It contains "modern" sounds but orchestred in an old way. I love it. Actually, i have only one problem with this. And that is track number 8. It has a VERY wellknown melodie, I will not spoil it The cd starts downbeat/funky and ends downbeat/funky. Good choice. Final Verdict: 9.3/10

    V/A - Solid

V/A - Solid Artist: Various Title: Solid Label: Tribe-A-Delic Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Alvermen : Alverman 02. Liquid : Acid DNA (Rmx) 03. Mr Peculiar And B.Noir : 40000 Substances 04. Tristan Boyle : Break Away 05. Fractal Glider : Rain Cryer 06. Mr Peculiar : Replacement Therapy 07. Jimbo Jones : Free Your Soul 08. Sensient : Crystal Rain 09. Dark Nebula : Geofabric Jelly Review: WOW! All these tracks are very good! They are all in the Mr Peculiar/Fractal Glider style. Fullon noisy madness. But not too noisy. Just perfect with freaky melodies and stompy bassline. Best tracks is...hmm...All of them except 9 :-) But that doesn't mean that it's a bad track. Just that is not as good as the others. This is what psy is all about :-) Get this one, you will not regret it. [Final Verdict 9/10]

    V/A - Chronika 1

V/A - Chronika 1 Artist: Various Title: Chronika 1 Label: Boshke Beats Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Midi Miliz : XV 02. The Delta : Hero FX (Part 1) 03. Boo.Reka : Psychodelichesky 04. Authentik : Vampires 05. Midi Miliz : No Exit 06. Spiralkinder : Wide Screen 07. Fuzzion : Out Of Order 08. Neser DNA : Stainless Steel 09. Metalogic : Mutual Exclusion Review: Holy shit. This is some bad stuff! Ultra-minimal music. Totally uninteresting tracks. Same stuff over and over again. Just when I though I'd heard the most minimal there is, this comp shows otherwise. I've heard better tracks from both The Delta and Midi Miliz. Authentik do what they use to do. The rest...oh man. I can't go on. Sorry. This one is for minimal diggers only. Final Verdict: 3/10

    GMS - The Hits

GMS - The Hits Artist: GMS Title: The Hits Label: TIP World Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 1.3 Crumbs 02. The Caterpillar 03. Veloceraptor 04. Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep 05. The Big Ship 06. On A Mission For God 07. Jaws 08. Medieval Times 09. Do You Seek Knowledge In Time Travel? 10. Halloween Review: I GMS collection of old, well, there are some pretty new tracks. I have heard these tracks before and my guess is that you have that to. Maybe not all but many. And I say as I always do about GMS releases. 'Nothing we haven't heard from them before'. Good about this is that you get some old jewels and a little feeling of the oldscool sound again. If that's what you seek. Best tracks imo: 5, 6 and 8. Final Verdict: 7/10
  10. Bamboo Forest - Random Future Artist: Bamboo Forest Title: Random Future Label: Flying Rhino Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Home Boys 02. Dump It 03. Melting Pot 04. Random Future 05. Infinity 06. Tomorrow I Will Quit 07. Joystick 08. Tilt 09. The Walk Review: Good ol' Bamboo Forest out with an execellent album. Typical BF style with drums and that you-know-what-noise The melodies is good but in some tracks there is few of them. Too bad. In track number 4 there is a vocal sample in the beginnen which is too obviously looped several times. But this track has the most noisy type of sounds on the album imo And it is so beautiful arranged. Last track is slow. Still good. You like BF? You'll like this! Final Verdict: 8/10
  11. Alpha Are you in #psytrance.se @ QuakeNet? no?
  12. 1200 Mics - 1200 Micrograms Artist: 1200 Mics Title: 1200 Micrograms Label: TIP World Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 09'03" Ayahuasca 02. 07'40" Hashish 03. 06'32" Mescaline 04. 07'55" LSD 05. 07'47" Marijuana 06. 05'51" Ecstasy 07. 07'45" Magic Mushrooms 08. 06'34" Salvia Divinorum 09. 05'48" DMT Review: First of all. This whole drug thingi, with the tracknames and drug-samples SUCKS! Are they trying to be cool? :-) I think it's super-cheezy. Anyway...Besides from all the stupid samples this CD is good. We have heard some from 1200 mics before and this is just like it. Full-on with the taste of GMS. The melodies are beautiful and massive and only moments later some are ruined by an idiot-sample. And those lame samples are in every track. But then again...those good melodies are also in every track so they take out each other. There is one bad track tho. Number 6 is clubby/trancey. Can't understand why they have put that track on this cd. If you like GMS with more changes this is the one for you. Final Verdict: 7.3/10
  13. V/A - Free Your Funky Chickens Artist: Various Title: Free Your Funky Chickens Label: Organic Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 07'31" Chris Organic And Prisoner Of The Sun : Go Get Some Gravy 02. 08'41" 3DB : This Is Not A Mind Trip 03. 09'10" Mindfly : Gods Own Glow 04. 09'44" Mindsurfers : Cheap Shop Chips 05. 08'31" Chris Organic And Prisoner Of The Sun : Tuna Salad 06. 07'17" Prisoner Of The Sun : Simone (Organic Rmx) 07. 06'31" Mr Biscuit : Texas Rhetoric 08. 08'53" System Beat : Vicious Rumours (Deeper Mix) 09. 07'33" Weird Walker : Chromic Sunrise Review: This comp goes in the dark footsteps. I'm pretty impressed with the first three tracks. not fullon. As much music these days aren't. Maybe I have get used to the "moder" sound? Anyway...It will be enough if I said that his comp is like everything else that is released these days. Atleast on comps. You know; that dark-little minimal-not-so-good-production-sometimes-and-weird-bass-and-lacking- bassline-thing. Highlights are the 3DB track. Which has a nice flow. And Texas Rhetoric which is the moste full on psychedelic track on the comp. I really like the lines in this one. Anyway...You have heard this before. Might be good for parties tho. Final Verdict: 6/10
  14. This is like a mix of Alien Project and Fractal Glider. Powerfull basslines combined with freaky noises. This is full-on all the way. And I like it very much. Excellent melodies and wellchosen psychedelic sounds. I just love when melodies are created from fat squeeky sounds. Very good debut album from Psydrop, and very fresh indeed. Final Verdict: 8/10
  15. Infected Mushroom And Berry Sakharof - Birthday Artist: Infected Mushroom And Berry Sakharof Title: Birthday Label: BNE Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 04'48" Birthday 02. 08'23" Deeply Disturbed 03. 04'43" Static Dancing Review: So what do we got here? 2 tracks with lyrics and not psy at all. And one with some vocals and psy. And i must say. All three tracks sucks pretty much. The first track is in hebrew, which is good because they can't speak decent english. As you will clearly hear in the third track, and some in the second. Even tho the tracks has some cool moments. The piano in Bithday is simply amazing. But the synthy trancy sounds could be left out or replaced with much fatter sounds Deeply Disturbed is kinda trancy track. Absolutley not the Infected we are used to. Even tho their newst track has not be the Infected we are used to either, but that is just what i think. They use much less sound. It's sounds so empty. It's like they don't have time to do it better. The last track is terrible and should not be reviewd by anyone. Final Verdict: 5/10
  16. Infected - around Jan 2003
  17. Deep Dive Corporation - Support Your Local Groover Artist: Deep Dive Corporation Title: Support Your Local Groover Label: Jubilee Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 07'49" Deep Dive 02. 06'29" Summertime 03. 06'47" Imagination 04. 07'39" Bali Hi 05. 06'57" Enjoy 06. 07'02" Back And Forth 07. 06'30" Dish 08. 06'51" Laugh 09. 09'04" Gogodancer 10. 05'41" Trippin 11. 01'29" Free Audio Samples Review: This is their first CD. And it's ok. This reminds very much about their second album. Maybe a little faster. But it's starts very nice. Deep Dive has a orientic touch. Japanese sounds and a female voice. Summertime is faster and more jazzy. Contains a female voice (again) and this time is possible to hear words. Next track is pretty much as the second track. Has the same pattern. Bali Hi is my favorite here. It's slow, beautiful and relaxing. The guitarr samples is so good. Maybe it's a real guitarr And the voice. A male "aaaaaah" can be heard from time to time. At track 7 the 4/4 begins. And it pretty much sucks. It doesn't fit at all imo. But it's only 3 tracks with this style sooo what the hell. This is just as good as their second one.
  18. Deep Dive Corporation - Black Mail Recordings Artist: Deep Dive Corporation Title: Black Mail Recordings Label: Jubilee Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 06'52" The Island 02. 08'36" Bassic (Flow Mix) 03. 07'57" Deep Heart 04. 08'14" Mark Dub (Smokin Rmx) 05. 07'11" U Got Mail 06. 05'15" Pianoforte 07. 07'08" Jazztalk 08. 07'53" Relaxer 09. 06'48" Lucsus Review: I recently got an Comp. with a Deep Dive track on. Bali Hi was the name and I fell in love imediatly. I think this is VERY good chillout. It's not in the sense of Shpongle. Deep Dive seems to focus on drums and smooth sounds instead. Kinda like Shaktura. And I love it. There is only one thing that I think is bad. Vocals :-/ I don't like them at all. The voice is nice but there are lyrics. I much more prefer lyrics/vocals that one can't understand. Final Verdict: 8/10
