  1. Author: german (---.uninet.net.mx) .mx Isn't that Mexico? I do believe it is. Solong!
  2. This is not as good as the first one. Shpongle does what they have to ofcourse. But the other tracks arent special at all. Just long typical TIP-world stuff. The first one truly delivered awesome and very cool tracks, but this one; naaah. Final Verdict: 7/10
  3. Vibrasphere - Lime Structure Artist: Vibrasphere Title: Lime Structure Label: Digital Structures Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. Soul Wire 02. Lemon Phase 03. Newport 04. Time Shifter 05. Manzanilla 06. Indian Summer 07. Purple Floating 08. Infusion 09. Silver Sun Review: Progressive trance. I could stop writing now cuz that is exactly what this is. Compare to their first album. This hasn't got so many chilled tracks. The non chilled are better than the non chilled on the first one imo. But I don't like it to much. Maybe you will. I really wanna see a chillout album with these guys. The ambient track here (Manzanilla) is truly amazing. I love their ambient and I think they should fokus on it :-) Final Verdict: 6/10

    V/A - Zoo 2

V/A - Zoo 2 Artist: Various Title: Zoo 2 Label: Shaffel Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. Void : Free 02. Skazi And Z-Man : Open The Doors 03. Shiva-Skazi : Large Doses 04. Skazi And Beat On : Freak Out 05. SX : Herpes 06. Skazi : XTC 07. Exaile : Knock It Off 08. Damage : Nasty 09. Tube : Meet The Monster Review: Time for some Skazi madness. Maybe a little too much as Skazi's style is too repetetive imo. And the worst part is that the other tracks sounds like it would be Skazi. But what if these tracks got released on 9 different comps. That would be good. The point is that the tracks itself is good stuff. It just gets too much. However, there is one track that is _SO_ much better than the others. Damage - Nasty, a pure masterpiece. This comp is good in small amounts. If you like Zoo 1, this is gonna blow your mind. And for Skazi fans....you know :-) Final Verdict: 7/10
  5. V/A - Natraj Temple 5 Artist: Various Title: Natraj Temple 5 Label: Natraj Temple Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. Infected Mushroom And Yahel : Electro Panic 02. Earthling : Stalagmitis 03. GMS : The Rescuers 04. Astrix : Vision 05. 1200 Mics : Ayahuasca 06. Nomad : Psylodelic 07. D-Tek : Multiverse 08. Soundaholics : Cheeseball (Rmx) 09. Vatos Locos : Sawtoothsalad Review: This is a good lineup. But it's NOT a good choice for tracks. Almost, if not all of them, has been released previously. I'm so sick of the GMS, Astrix sound and Electro Panic is so damn old that I don't know what the hell it's doing on this comp. These are good tracks, if you not heard them 1000 times before. I give the guy who chose this track 0/10. But for those that don't have these tracks should check this out. For me, this is just pointless.

    V/A - Frequencies

V/A - Frequencies Artist: Various Title: Frequencies Label: Discobole Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. POG : God You Hear 02. Lightzone : Enigma 03. POG : Bullet 04. Altergroove : Insane Logic 05. Lightzone : Don't Think 06. Neptune : Dungeon 07. Yohan : Ionos 08. Altergroove : Altergroove 09. Yohan : Massive Sound 10. Sun Trigger : Dive Deep Review: Finally. New artists. For me that is. Some are good. Some are not. But one thing is sure. This comp is pretty hard. This could create madness on the dancefloor. Some tracks are not that easiely(?) forgettable. Like POG(!), Lightzone, Altergroove and Sun Trigger. They make a good job. The others arent that good. Maybe to weird, hard and noisy for me. Who knows...All tracks are pretty fast and forthdriving tracks, except the last one which is slow. The style of this comp is pretty weird...It's some mix of full on and progg, and maybe some minimal here and there. Final Verdict: 7/10 (Only because POG rocks!)
  7. V/A - Perfect Evolution Artist: Various Title: Perfect Evolution Label: Innersound Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. Mindfly : Midnight Nation 02. Chikaka : Lick The Stamp 03. Front Minimale : Storyteller 04. Psy XS : Searching For Knowledge 05. Ectopile : Cannabits 06. The Cujorius One : Stereo Noise 07. Mazenga : Designed Voyage 08. Dark Nebula : Asteroids Movements 09. Ron Lyner : Know Your Fears Review: Starts off with Mindfly(Denmark) which I haven't heard much off. And nobody else I guess cuz he hasn't released that many tracks yet. A progressive track with nice flow and very good bongo-drums. He uses the percussions very well and the come in exactly where you want them to come in. There isn't much of a melodie, instead there is sound layered so it creates a certain pattern for you to follow. Good one. Next up is Chikaka(Denmark). A fairly new artist making psytrance for two years. At first it doesn't sound that interesting. A bassline that floats into itself, it sounds weird to me. Altho it has many strange sound it's lacking something, maybe speed or, atleast, a decent bassline. I would say that this is minimalistic. I'm not a big fan of minimal sooo...Those who are would like it. Track #3 by Front Minimale(Denmark) wich is Cujorius One solo project. So maybe you can guess who this one sounds. Many rattling sounds on top of a kick mixed with percussions and stuff. A floor stomper indeed. The fourth track by Psy Xs(Mexico). Is faster and harder than the others. Contains some man-choirs and some violins or something. Has a more rough feeling with more sounds going on at a time. I think it lacks of that fast melodie you want to hear from these sounds. But in the end, something close to it appears. Pretty good actually. Fifth track with Ectopile(Israel). Three words. Heavy beats, slow rythms and dark atmosphere. Very cool sounds effects in this progressive track. It also uses bongos but not to the extend as the first track. It builds up nicely to a rythm mayhem. Also a good track. Track number 6 by Cujorius One(Denmark) has that roaming sound. Ofcourse it goes in the minimal footsteps. I don't really care much about this typ of tracks. The seem to be 'random'. I don't know how to explain it. #7 by Mazenga(Mazenga) is slow. Maybe 140. I looks like all of the tracks has been around 140 bpm. None really fast one. However, this track has a variated bassline wich I found so nice. I love it when they change it often. Good work there. The percussions is also very well arranged. With drums and hi-hits that complements the twisted sounds perfect. One bad thing; not long enough. Here comes #8, Dark Nebula(Australia). For me, the artist I've heard most from. And is, in my oppinion the most talanted of them. Finally some speed and screaming noises. Very weird track, very! Some sounds that are totally wicked. This track is so unpredictable you lose track of it. This is not for the easy-minded person. You know what I mean. The last track by Ron Lyner(Israel) got a smooth texture. Starts out pretty slow with a brrrroooouuum-ing sound in the background. Adding more and more percussions. Soft bassline that floats nicely with the track. No strange things going on here. Just good music that plays. This comp are maybe more for the progressive side of psytrance. Could be an excellent floor compil tho. Heave kicks and fat sounds through every track. And by the way, the cover is perfect. Final Verdict: 6.6/10
  8. V/A - Electronic High 3 Artist: Various Title: Electronic High 3 Label: Solstice Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. Alien Project : LSD 02. 1200 Micrograms : Ayahuasca (Live Mix) 03. The Antidote : Empty Dot (Hallucinogen Rmx) 04. Koxbox : Woolectrix 05. Etnica : Seven 06. The Good, The Bad And The Ugly : Woebup 07. Logic Bomb : Jan And Jon 08. Bio-Tonic : Magic Interface (The Antidote Rmx) 09. Synthetic : Gotcha-Roof (Terrace Mix) Review: This is a good one! Just look at the tracklist and you can figure out yourself wether this is good or bad. Again Ayahuasca is released, this time in a Live version. No big changes but they have polished it alittle. Every track has a very high standard on this one. These are goods tracks indeed. The only bad one is Jan And Jon wich is just lame. Annoying sound through the whole track and weak kick and no cool things what so ever. Koxbox deliver a somewhat funky track as usual and Etnica goes with the Nitrox/Chrome sound. The Empty Dot Remix is spectacular and so is the Alien Project track. The AP track reminds me of 13 Skulls Comp very much. Long intro etc. This is a full on comp and it's a good one. Final Verdict: 9/10

    Perplex - Off Beat

Perplex - Off Beat Artist: Perplex Title: Off Beat Label: Com.Pact Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Life System 02. Thunder 03. Complex 04. To 05. Control 06. Tina Bell 07. Ice Glass (Rmx) 08. Life Style 09. Dream 10. Off Beat 11. Electric Therapy Review: I have never heard Perplex before. I think. Maybe on some compilation or something. So I had no idea what to expect and I can't compare this to any erlier release by him/them. But I like this one. The first 5 tracks are really good with just the right sfx going on in the background. On the end of the cd it's have a tendency to get a little to soft and maybe cheesy. Anyway, decent release. Final Verdict: 6.7/10
  10. Midi Miliz - Passages Artist: Midi Miliz Title: Passages Label: Boshke Beats Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Interleaved 02. Phenomena 03. The Missing Guest 04. No Exit 05. Format 06. Aeromode 07. Stalker 08. Baxandall 09. Mrs Vargas 10. Starz Review: Compared to their first album this is pretty much the same. Bouncy, noisy and weird drums. It's repetetive, ofcourse. But it will surely kill some floors. Atleast track #4 wich is the hardest and darkest of them all. And #2 wich should not be forgotten. Nice atmosphere and floating beat. If you like more technoinfluenced psy you will like this. But I'm not a big fan. Fun to play loud tho Final Verdict: 6/10

    Exaile - In Panic

Exaile - In Panic Artist: Exaile Title: In Panic Label: Shaffel Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Intro 02. Suzzy Surprise 03. Tunnel 04. Connection 05. The Mad Midget 06. Tied Up (Rmx) 07. Miss Justin 08. X Ailes 09. Give A Head 10. Hourse Out Review: Exaile = Skazi wannabe? Some parts are identical to Skazi. The bass and bassline is a copy/paste from Skazi. Good or bad? You decide. This kind of psy is very easy-listened. The sounds are well chosen and doesn't fry your brain as some stuff can do. My guess is that this will prolly work best on the dancefloor instead of your home. However he does know how to do those insane pauses to build up pressure. Good job. Final Verdict: 7/10

    Help II

I don't have it but maybe you can ask Logic Bomb for it. It's worth a shot anyway. Click: Logic Bomb
  13. V/A - Significant Elf Proclivity Artist: Various Title: Significant Elf Proclivity Label: Ambivalent Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Floor Assignment : Enter Domestos 02. Deviant Species : Balojax (Rmx) 03. Shift : Oxygen 04. The Harbingers Of Doom : Thwack 05. Scorb : Lunaris 06. Neutral Rectifier Syndrome : Bizarre Gardening 07. Deviant Species : Lapa Incordio 08. Shift : Freakem 09. Unsound System : Goon Review: This is pretty neat stuff. Very "psyish" and hard. Would probably drive the dance floor insane. These track are packed with that swirling, twisted, screaming sound. But there is one, and only one track, thats is so damn good I can't stop listen to it. And that track is *drumroll*...........Scorb - Lunaris. I can't even get started to describe it, you have to hear it for yourself. This comp is good. Final Verdict: 8/10
  14. Sienis då! När kommer ditt album? Jag är sugen som bara den.

This isn't half as good as the first one. A huge dissapointment. Their unique sounds is gone. Final Verdict: 5/10

    V/A - Module 1

V/A - Module 1 Artist: Various Title: Module 1 Label: 3D Vision Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Jadis : Passage Du Lalung La 02. Entheogenic : Impossible Landscape 03. Solar Fields : Electric Fluid (Early Rmx) 04. Asura : Lost Eden 05. Talamasca : Brain Activity 06. Toires : Ma Wal Hob 07. Aes Dana : Suspended Grounds 08. Tiya : Taxi Drive 09. Nomad : Zamba 10. Javier De Galloy : Dream Vain Review: This is some jewels, and some bad cheap things. As I like the drummy and beaty chillout more than the "nothing-happens-in-the-whole-track-chillout" there are some decent tracks here. The first track is the best. The best chillout i've heard in a while. More track like these. Other than that, the Solar Fields are ok, along with Talamasca and Toires. Oh, i forgott the Entheogenic track. It's fast and the most psychedelic of them all. The rest is not my cup of tea. Even if its some drums is doesnt do it for me. Final Verdict: 6/10

    V/A - Jet Lag

V/A - Jet Lag Artist: Various Title: Jet Lag Label: 3D Vision Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Nomad : Mental Shock 02. Absolum : No Rush 03. Central Processing Unit : Haunted Clip 04. Deedrah : Reload (Live Mix) 05. Cosmochaos : Landmass Vibration 06. Talamasca And Yuman And Ben-J : Smoking Gorillas 07. Orion : Tripod 08. Nomad And On Fobia : Mosquito City 09. Silicon Sound : Digital Thought Review: Another stomping compilation from 3D Vision. To tell by the tracklist this should be pretty fast and stompy. And it is! I'll tell you something about the groups that are a little less known. The CPU (lame name imo) track follows the 3D Vision concept with many noises and various psychedelic sounds. Good bass and bassline. You'll not get tired of this track. Cosmochaos also have the "right" ingredients and it's a kinda rough track. It has a feeling of that it just go on and on and on and on. The last track is the best here. This track have no mercy, only pure energy. Can't wait for more track from Silicon Sound. Final Verdict: 8/10
  20. V/A - Chiller Waves Artist: Various Title: Chiller Waves Label: AP Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Chi-ad : Sandestin 02. Zerotonine : Lunatic 03. Sonic Fusion : Heartbeats 04. Void : Chemical (Fingertwister Rmx) 05. Solar Fields : Blue Moon Station 06. Analog Pussy : Rug-C 07. Asura : Lost Eden 08. Fingertwister : Black Spot 09. Aztech : Mumine 10. Eargear : Slowsneekers/b> 11. Trancefeld : Darkside (Outro) Review: Compared to Module 1 this is a little more "gogo". It's faster and more variations. Even if it's chillout some tracks has a steady beat. I don't like that at all. The Analog Pussy track is just awful. Solar Fields do their job and Trancefeld delivers a very dark track. The suprise here is the Sonic Fusion track. Very spaced out sounds with werid percussions. Good job. Final Verdict: 6/10
  21. Where did Deviant Electronics go? Does anybody know if/where/when he going to release something new? He is doing the best break beat psy there is imo. I wanna know! :-) boms!
  22. I can paste that many albums that are unreleased ;P Just to show off
  23. Double Dragon - Transparent Artist: Double Dragon Title: Transparent Label: Plusquam Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Bong 02. Resonate 03. Doppelganger 04. Gravity 05. Echo 06. Heavy Rotation 07. Shine 08. Dice Review: This was unexpected. You should all know about Double Dragon at this time. But for those who doesn't. I suggest you buy Continuum instead. Some of the same old awesome percussion is here, BUT, it's too boring. The melodies is almost gone. Instead there ar a sample of a sounds put in a certain way and run over and over again to create a melodiefeeling. I must say that the basslines is outstanding, as usual You know the one in Spiked? I just love that one. There are some goodies on this also Best track is 6 and 8. This is not a bad release. Final Verdict: 3/5.
  24. Miraculix - Detonator Artist: Miraculix Title: Detonator Label: Alchemy Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Mental Detector 02. Stop Them 03. Double Trouble 04. Sundance 05. Reactor 06. Motion Protons 07. Witchcraft 08. Alone In The Dark 09. Creatures Review: I would say that Miraculix has the sound of Hux-Flux with a touch of Logic Bomb. If you like his tracks released on various comps you will like this too. Every track is like those tracks. Full on crazy madness. But there is one flaw, the tracks sounds almost the same and that makes it easy to get tired of. But this is a solid first release. Final Verdict: 3.5/5
