  1. IOW, you have no interest in this board's actual subject and come here solely for the purpose of aggravating those who do with your asinine opinions. I've raised your warning level. Shape up or piss off.

who freaking cares. Get your power trip going dude if that makes you cum ;)

  2. He had some problems with the servers and had to move servers (As far as I could tell from tweets) and then he is on a well deserved holiday. Ektoplazm will be back. Do not forget it's not a business but a one man's hobby. I think he does a great job. In the meantime there's tons of music to explore ;)

  3. Wrong. Duvdev is DJing sometimes.

I was referring to Astral Projection. Only times Avi DJ are at private parties with friends and Bar Mitzvah's. Lior NEVER DJ.

And Infected Mushroom does not DJ it's a BAND. Then it should be "Vote for DJ Dudev" or "Vote for DJ Avi" and not Infected Mushroom or Astral Projection as DJ Mag is exactly what it's name says. A DJ magazine for DJ's ;)

  4. Obviously you do since you're here giving your opinion on the music and the scene on a regular basis.

It's good entertainment seen in the light how some of you guys react ;) And no I could not care less about the music and the scene. I have removed all my music referring to this scene from the internet. But that does not prevent me from having fun and laugh at the way you guys don't seem to move forward once inch but keep debating a stone cold dead band (just as you year after year whine over the dead of IM) who haven't moved once inch too. All they do is beg for votes to a DJ list (They never DJ) and keep posting bad excuses to why they got no new or interesting music out the last 10 years (except for some lame fullon cloned tunes).

Get over it and move on ;)

  5. Envy is bad to one's health. They're nada nowadays - this I totally agree with you. But even being nada, they're more wanted, booked, listened to than you.

And so what>? It's still retarded begging! And by the way I am not active with Elysium and do not associate myself or my music with this scene any longer so I don't see your point about envy. I make House music and techno and is perfect happy with my music.

    The History Of War!

Please allow me to puke. "The Holy Land", "The Center of the World"...yawn!!!! Stupid begging "vote for me" videos like this show why these artists (such as Astral) got nada to do with the psychedelic trance scene anymore. Yet people still worship them... weird.

  7. t's also worth remembering that the vocals on Ott's album are heavily edited and processed, and - as has been said above - are treated much more like an instrumental layer than a story-telling, intelligible vocal line. If you don't like the way Nick's voice sounds on Ott's music, what you're actually complaining about is Ott's production and writing style. Good luck with that.

So let me understand you correctly. The " Good luck with that" comment mean that according to you there is nothing to "complain" about and people "complaining" got it all wrong and Ott is a God in the studio?

  8. I don't mind full on basslines if they are done in the correct manner, like this guy did. Also, I never did mention anything about a new sound. So I don't know where you got that from. I just like the album and he drops the psy sounds just right.

I never said you mentioned anything about a new sound. That was solely a personal opinion. I do mind fullon basslines as they all sound the same and are just plain annoying.

  9. Kode Six's new album Perfekt World is really nice imo. Gritty and hard hitting and somewhat SA-influenced.

Not every day you stumble upon good psy these days...

I simply can not stand those fullon basslines. I think it's areal shame every new release use them. Where is the creativity gone? Also I really do not hear anything remotely new here. It sound like any other fast bpm "lets drop some psy sounds" tunes. In my opinion of course.

  10. If you need to continue commenting negatively about a legendary psytrance/goatrance project you only have spite left for, and their upcoming (whether or not they're going to be released, we'll see) releases, then maybe, just maybe you should ask yourself if it is not time to leave this thread.

Seriously man, there's a lot of elitist, snobby behaviour, and generally negative "vibration" in a lot of your posts in this forum. Makes me wonder why you even come here...

whine whine whine. smoke another chillum dude ;)

  11. You're been naive. Of course this political stuff must be something of a parallel problem that is affecting the release, but there are other serious problems with the labels involved as well. One thing I can't understand is this feeling some of you have that they have this "obligation" to release their album ASAP, and when it's clear they won't do it soon, some comments just derail into sarcasm.

IMO, besides the political and legal problems they're facing, there's also the creative side of this album that they might be working on, trying to update and polish their sounds. Last, but not the least, they- or one of them - may be facing private problems we're not aware of.

I think you're the one being a bit naive ;)

  12. Oh shit. I was not aware of their delicate socio political status. So wait, the fact they are involved in the protests now is a justification for a ten year wait. Right...

What's next? A three year military service for the israeli army? You know I got a letter from the government as well. They threatened to court martial me because I refused to assemble rifles, peel potatoes and carry 30kg sand bags on my back up the hill. That letter was very important to me.

So, the next time I get out there on the streets, I can just call my boss up and say that my political engagement will prevent me from attending work - for the next three years.

Yawn my man, a very fucking large yawn. At best.

  13. The vocalist on Adrift in Hilbert Space is indeed Naked Nick... I'm not that familiar with the tune (heard it a couple of times and don't remember being too offended) but Nick himself is a very talented guy - singer, acoustic guitarist and - especially - chillout DJ. Also a very lovely bloke, very gentle.

That's nice of you but I and apparently others don't think his singing is all that ;)

  14. Haha, damn, guess you're right. :)

I wonder, could I call the "Ott - Mir [advanced downwards mix]" album a masterpiece? It's basically the same album, cut short by 1 minute :)

By the way, Trentemoller (which is more minimal than psy but, hey) has pretty good vocalists in most of his tracks.

You can call it whatever you like :)

Trentemøller was never part of the psytrance scene. And he got an ear for real talented singers :)

  15. When I first heard this guy in Younger Brother's Vaccine, I thought this horrendous display of vocals was a single, specific occurrence, and that I'll never have to hear this guy's voice again.

And then came Ott's Mir (which is a masterpiece, in my opinion), and to my horror it included the track "Adrift in Hilbert Space" with this guy (or, *shudder*, someone who heard Vaccine and thought to himself - "Gosh darn it, that's a good vocal style - I should try and reproduce it") in the part between 01:05 to 01:55. I just can't listen to it, it reminds me of Vaccine way too much.

I really hope this guy is not "The New Michelle Adamson"..

Usually a "masterpiece" (when speaking about a whole album and not just a single song) is a album where all songs are amazing ;)
