    looks uberfat B)

who cares about titles anyway? ;)

  2. Most of us buy their cd from psyhop I think, but few of us live in Germany. Also Saikosounds is located in Japon and I doubt they do most of their sales there.

i didn't say only germans buy from psyshop, but since it's located in germany itself, i think it's reasonable to assume proportionally more germans purchase there (lower shippings costs and familiarity)

but i guess one can't tell for sure, since we don't have any data and the like

besides, another thing we have to consider is that for a lot people progressive is more suitable for home-listening and less so for partying, so i suspect they'll be more likely to buy prog (or chill and down-tempo) rather than full on - but that doesn't necessarily mean it's less popular in general

but again, that's of course just speculating

  3. People on psyshop.com in general seem to buy more progressive than full on. I dont know if you can base your facts on just one shop though :)

and psyshop is based in germany, where prog is far more popular than is the case elsewhere

i bet that if it were located in russia, most in the top 10 would be dark, for instance

  4. i think para halu - world of peace is something that sticks out, if only because it's more than just a random collection of tracks

there are plenty of others but there have been so many releases you tend to forget even what you bought the past week (and i still need to check derango, ghreg on earth and wizack twizack)

  5. my list of crazy azz killaaarghs unde dancefloor devastatooorghs, for this week, last week, and half the week before that:

    1. cyanescens - improve your memory (alkaloid)

    2. kluster - bad spirit (stone age)

    3. para halu - snake it easy (parvati)

    4. abnormal - alien (vertigo)

    5. dejan - izbad (vertigo)

    6. electrypnose - oscillate (trishula)

    7. polyphonia - babel tower (trishula)

    8. dejan - ctrl alt supp (vertigo)

    9. quasar & dylalien - alien together now (baba rmx) (manic dragon)

hey dumbass, if lars says he has the cd, that means he has it

anyhoo, most twisted tracks i can think of at the moment

    toi doi - replicant & e-tium

    sienis - fungi sapies

    datakult&infect insect - abject object

baphomet engine - sentimental minds (remix)

and probably one of kluster's or ka-sol's track as well

  7. i like the cover though. it looks like it tells a story. looking at the cover i can only think of "wicked place", "crazy sunset", "humor", "playful", "wild" and somehow "friendly".

the combination of yellow-brown, red-gray gives the cover a "dark" shape.

those little creatures look like they were minding their own bussiness when suddenly someone came to them with a cam and said: "say cheese!".

i think it's fair to describe the music like you describe the cover, and i'm not quite comfortable calling it "dark" music, or at least not in the sense of kindzadza

sure it has the typical basslines and silly "evil" titles (3 times "kill" in a title is a bit over the top imho), but otherwise the music is mostly trippy and fantasy-like imo

  8. definitely one of the better releases this year, just when you thought it couldn't get any crazier after discs likes run motherfucker run, psychiatric hospital or mushy mystery trishula launches this at us

it's not particularly hard music, or dark, it's just packed with trippy melodies and insane bleeps&swirls at a fast pace

i've given it several listens so far and i'm still not even close to spotting a 'best' tune - never mind finding one that bores me, not once i felt the need to skip a tune

can't wait for trishula's next release
