great great great news
-
nice to see lithuania ihas been getting something of a psy scene too now, visited the country a couple of years ago and i was a bit disappointed it didn't have any parties at all
-
except of the last one, i think they're a bit too similar
i totally dig the style though
-
Terminator& Dejan - Overdrive
probably one of the most underappreciated cd's of 2005
-
it somewhat pisses me off you can't find any of those (great) tracks elsewhere and unmixed
goagil's bad mixing only adds insult to injury
-
most 5:30-6:30 minutes tracks are average.let's see.
also, tracks of *at least* 8 minutes, preferably double-digitted, is the true goaway of doing things
-
i'd rather take a wait-and-see attitude too, since they aren't releasing particularly melodic music nowadays (as deedrah and absolum)
-
i think trishula, parvati, deja vu mistress of evil and the like ought to start a secession movement, like, you know, officially declare their independence from psytrance and invent a whole new name for their music (how about "neuro beat"?) then people won't have to worry anymore about any corrupting influences on the goascene
-
it's rapidly becoming a favourite for 2006 for me too, smooth night-time music, with a funky drive, crispy melodies and playful noises - there's something nasty it, but not "evil"
dejan, electrypnose & baphomet engine are at their finest and jigsaw & hishiryo certainly leave me thirsty for more
if you liked the melodic tunes on crazy pixies and wicked goblins from trishula, you'll definitely like this one too

i don't think has been posted yet...
M.o.E is sooooooo very proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of one of San Francisco's most innovative producers:
Quasar - One Day
*Coming June 15, 2006*
Quasar wrote his first track when he was five years old. It was called the raffle ticket song and, while it didnt do well on the Europop charts at the time, it did inspire Quasar to acquire a drum set and start playing with different bands. Later, he turned onto ethnic percussion, learning different drums from around the world. When Quasar landed in San Francisco, he traded his drumsticks for slip mats. As a Dj, he had a successful project with Dylalien called the Resonance Image Program and they performed sound healing at various gatherings and dance performances. After seeing GoaGil play sunrise at Burning Man, Quasar saw great potential in the music, and started producing and performing trance, both live and in Dj sets.
One Day is a humorous and intelligent composition. Between the cosmic sounds and tribal rhythms is a story. Taking a clue from the epic voyages of goa trance, the sounds bring this adventure to another level. This is a day in the life of a typical human who has an extraordinary experience. Through sound textures and woven vocal fabrics, a theme emerges. It is a puzzle of concepts set to turn your mind and body on (Anything spiritual you may take from it is up to you (!)). So take the voyage and meet our captain, Quasar. You will be glad you came along for the ride!!!
Visually follow along as the story unfolds with the beautifully crafted booklet by Kourosh (www.kouroshgorji.com). The album also includes a full color fold out poster!!

probably trishula's best comp until now
-
i think that monster/cyborg/whatever in there is rather tacky, although i particularly object to the use of purple
-
i'm a happy owner of electric universe - cosmic experience, a cd that's been sold out at every webshop for a while already, and the label of which has ceased existing
it's nice to know that, in next decade or so, when all the collectors with too much money on their hands are looking for a "fullon classic from the mid 2000's", i may be getting good money for it
-
i have all his songs
not sure if i'm going to get this one though, that cover is really... uhm...
-
isn't acidance greek?
-
mubali - cats @ play: some great acidic bits in it, i wish more artists would do that
-
last order i had:
va - mechanophobia
procs - stuck in the oven with me
vegetal - free thinkers are dangerous
va - the dark side of goa
va - durdom
va - redrum
horror place - hobyah
va - mindshare
va - digital shaman
va - san fran psychos 1
va - up the kabrathors
xenomorph - qlippoth (really embarassed i didn't have it on cd until now)
parasense - past present future (dito)
va - schizm
va - acidsport
also bought these from jos for my melodic wants:
filteria - heliopolis
khetzal - corolle
ka-sol - fairytale
-
horror place's album: rather nice, high octane and relentless, but i wish the melodies would have been more up-front
Best Progessive Album.

don't know all that much about proggy stuff, but 12 moons - solid state never bores, it's a beautiful piece of work
s-range - space and ticon - aero are also outstanding
i urgently need to check on the newer releases, i've the feeling i'm missing out
