    If you are talking about merging psy and breaks try Iconoblast comp released on Symbiosis records. 3D compilation on TIP has some good psy breaks with a 4x4 beat backbone and very creative too. Also try Metal Spark - Corrosive album on Blue Room. Here are some samples click me.

    all I can recommand you in this style is Zoneotura ( Z- neo from naked tourist)....

     

    check the hidden track on the naked tourist album,....

    yeah, but its not "equally spaced" if you know what i mean. Its still a BITCH to mix dnb, compared to psy.

    mixing dnb is imo easier,

     

    -the trackstructure is even more formulated than full on (the first and second drop thing)

    + since it's on vinyl you can see when this drop will be...

    -it's faster : you don't have to pitch it as correct as slower music

    -it doesn't have a loud kickdrum => easier eq' ing ...

    -the tracks allmost never explode towards a climax, that's why mixing is soo more important in a dnb set because most tracks are really too boring to play them from the beginning till the end ....

     

    but still you can make mixing as difficult as you want (using 3 decks, scratching etc ....)

    by far the best 12 " I own !!!!

     

    all tracks rock ...ghost train can also be found in their round 1 album...

     

    but

     

    hailinhale is an absolute massive track.... it's the best psybreaks track I have ever heard (158 bpm)....

     

    sensemelter : a 160 bpm morning track is also a must have ... It is the perfect ending for a hyperactive night to morning set ...

     

     

    so don't listen to children he has got it all wrong : this is noooo boring music it is highly psychedelic, fast and melodic .... all tracks are guaranteed to set the dancefloor on fire ...

     

     

    if you find this 12 " don't hesitate to buy it since hailinhale and sensemelter are only released on vinyl ....

    the first goacd i bought !!!! now my collection is 600 cd strong and it's still one of the best compilations I own !!

    Looking for Psy party in Amsterdam

    To be exact, it is an abandoned town, which has been squatted in its entirety. In wintertime they do a lot of parties in the main church. It's a really nice place, next to the water and also next to Schiphol (amsterdam airport). Last year it was REALLY trippy dancing and seeing all those planes flying over your head. And I mean a lot of planes... COol stuuf, though it must be annoying when you live there...

     

    Anyway: cultural freestate does indeed mean kind of a home for arty farty hippies, there's a lot of cultural stuff happening there, a lot of art, poetry, music and whatnot. If there's anything happening: be sure to check it out!
