    I keep listening to this over and over.

     

    I suspect Simon has done the impossible and destroyed Shpongle 1. :)

    That song sounds not so good from the previews but that kills even Tool, just that one song.

     

    I can't even imagine the last song, that preview is amazing.

    Why destroyed shpongle 1? I think you can't compare... I should say outdone most of the basic psyrock kind of stuff, but not shpongle 1. Different worlds and different perspective on music from start imo. For music with real vocals I kinda like this stuff, but I mostly prefer the otherworldly stuff without the singing. It's a different thing imo, an other kind of soundscapes and in all a different outcome for your mind and emotions. Anyway haven't listened to it that much (so maybe 10 times later I could be bored by it) and quality isn't that good, so we'll see how it turns out in half a year from now. Now the hype is to big to see clearly :)... Pink floyd meets radiohead with liquid posford sounds or something like said before, don't know we'll see in a few months...

    Just settle with the Rhino edition... Some old non released tracks would be nice though.

    I follow abasio on that. But normally the technossomy cd is expensive so lots of goatrance lovers in Belgium don't have it, so I can understand why some would really like a rerelease. But It will probably be downloadable from their upcomming website. If you look at the sales and stuff and all the new artists I would say don't waste money on something that won't come back at all. If they've split and don't like eachother it would only be for the money I guess.

    Bill Halsey, the producer behind Cosmosis (and Mumbo-Jumbo) is a former professional session guitarist from London. During this part of his musical career he played with countless bands playing Rock, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Pop and Hip-Hip, touring Europe and Australasia.

     

    Bill says : "Being a session muso was a game of extremes; some of the bands that I played with contained some of the most incredibly talented musicians that I ever had the pleasure to blag my way onto a stage with. On the other hand many of the bands were way beyond bad and I ended up having to commit some of the most heinious musical crimes known to man on a very regular basis - in the name of making a living..."

     

    Bill honed his writing and recording skills by composing and and recording pop tracks for over ten years before finally becoming involved with creating pure electronic music.

     

    Now as much in demand to compose music for picture as he is for live appearances to play his particular brand of tongue-in-cheek, full power Psy-Trance music on dancefloors quite literally all over the globe.

     

    During the last 12 years of touring Bill has played Cosmosis' music to ecstatic crowds in such diverse places as:

     

    Taiwan, Brazil, Israel, India, Bali, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Colombia, United States, Egypt, Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary, Denmark, England, Spain, Ireland, Canada, Serbia, Scotland, Japan, Belgium, Holland, Greece, South Africa, Russia, France, Mexico and Portugal and plays regularly in many of these countries

    DIMENSION 5

     

     

    Dimension 5 was one of the first goa trance groups ever and released lots of highly acclaimed vinyls and cds. The group saw it existence in 1989, and around 1994 they released their first early goa trance vinyls, which they described as “space techno”. Back then the group existed out of 4 members: Charlie Clarke, Graham Franklin, Kerry Palmer and Nick Wenham. They started their own label, Intastella Records, in 1996 to have total musical freedom. This resulted in the making of their first full album: “Transdimensional” in 1997. This piece of art is extremely wanted but unfortunately it was never decently distributed, because of that this cd became a true goa trance legend. The fantastic Dimension 5 music was not only released on Intastella Records. Many of their tunes made between 1995-1998 were also featured on compilations of famous labels. (Transient Records, Psychic Deli, Leguan, Phantasm Records, BNE and many more)in 1998 the group got an extra member; Christer Borge Lunde (also known as Ra and Electron Wave). This resulted in another album; called “Second Phaze” in the year 2000, released by an obscure label, Blue Moon in Thailand. Because of that this cd was re-released by German Velvet Inc/Nova Tekk.After this cd Dimension 5 stopped making music, leaving a great discography behind…and great memories for all the people that were already in the goa scene around that time!

    Behind the production of symphonix are the brothers Sirko (28) & Stephan (25) Wötanowski from northern germany, better known as dj montagu & dj golkonda. They started in 1998 with djing & organizing events. They based Tshitraka and the first Tshitraka Party was in the beginning of 1999 in a small club. This Project grows up to the Tshitraka Project Open Air Festival, which is every year in northern germany. Their famous indoor party event is called Amarasya. After since years playing in several partys, like Indian Spirit, Atmospheres, Antaris, Voov, Two Moons, Arvika and etc. it was a question of the time that they start to produce their own music, to create their own ideas.The style of them is groovy progressive trance with psychedelic elements.

    Playing under three different aliases he has a very wide selection of new music combined with old classics... Having still a big hart for vinyl he flawlessly combines playing with vinyl and cd’s. With his skills and live effect editing he has been able to move crowds anywhere he plays!

    Playing under the alter ego of R’Deem, he plays the finest of progressive trance… Promoting artists like Liquid soul, Son Kite, Ticon, Tegma, …

    Do you remember when FSOL made the Amorphous album Isness

    The same trip goes on here, and both of it makes me happy

    I love isness and Alice in Ultraland and I still love the rest of FSOL

    I love new younger brother and I ll keep liking the rest of the released Posford stuff

    The Isness is really not good imo..... Alice in ultraland never tried, but I guess more singing and stuff???

    I would stop discussing prices in selling topics and do it by PM. But I guess none of you was interested in the cd from the start, but just wanted to say it...

     

    I don't blame you guys on that, it's just a general instict (happens a lot here, with so much collectors around), I have it too :). But in the end you can start spamming each selling topic. Like rino's, technosmy's topic, and many others, also the ones who say pm me offer in many cases. have done some fair offers and some ok maybe lesser fair offers to people by pm. But if someone says "N00B, it's worth way more" when you offer 45 euro for black rhino then that guy isn't fair too (maybe he got a little more, but 45 euro for black rhino is not a low offer), the only thing is other people can't see that....

     

    Antic price includes 5 euro shipping so in the end he has not overdone that heavly ...

     

    Anyway this al just my opinion on this so don't take it offensive here, just something to consider... :lol:

    must add as well, that for the ones who have discovered psy recently, ie, newcommers, IM's oldies are very good introduction ;)

    i dont listen to those IM tracks i found good back when i started to get into psy/goa anymore, nor to IM at all, dont like them anymore.

     

    Well the gathering was good and classical too, but indeed don't put them on much either. They are the cliché starters cd's and most people know IM... You know them "yes I know goatrance, groups like, eeeuh yes like let me think eeuh, aah yes IM... and what else, eeuhm yes that's about it I know of names :s)."

     

    I would give Alien Proteïn to newcommers or cosmology, mfg, then further one you get green nuns, ux, koxbox, etc...

    I think he's just a bit busy with all the people pushing and mailing for deals. :)

    Never had problems with pedro, sometimes some confusion but always fine.

    You know how it goes people mail they want something 3 minutes later not anymore then again etc...

    At that point you already said ok or no to someone else. Especially when you sell for fair prices stuff goes fast...
